  1. So the guy is a master of the obvious. Long on bitching, short on real solutions. What other options did any of the teams have at this point? A trade for Tom Brady?
  2. Not quite sure where you got that I thought the moves were related from my post, but whatever.
  3. I think it is important to note that Buffalo was pretty smart to trade Peters and not throw $$ at Bell. Sometimes it is the moves you don't make that are important.
  4. 3rd or 4th round comp picks are VERY rare. Levitre would need to make the pro bowl first string, and reach all his contract bonuses. Maybe it cost us a 6th or a 7th at most.
  5. I'm not sure I'd call failing to sign a guy who is coming off a major injury a failure. Seriously, dude, stay away from sharp objects. Actually, I bet we offered what he was worth and he didn't like it.
  6. There should be no closet. It shouldn't be a big deal, but some people make it a big deal because they are bigoted and hateful. Unfortunately, I can see some redneck NFL fans making it a big deal. People like their stereotypes. They like to think of gay guys as wimpy, effeminate, and working as a hairstylist or interior decorator. Breaking stereotypes pisses idiots off. For example, an educated, successful, black person used to be called "uppity" because they didn't fit an idiot racist's stereotype. Same goes for football. The ultimate masculine sport doesn't allow a myopic idiot's view of of where a gay person should have a career. Hopefully we'll see that change in our lifetime, but there may be some ugliness. So having a few players being gay is "promoting a lifestyle?" Really? This has to be a joke post.
  7. I'm glad he doesn't know his name. It means a 3rd or 4th string QB isn't really on his radar, and he shouldn't be.
  8. A couple points: 1. The expensive signings last year should put the whole "Bills don't want to spend money" bullcrap to rest. Let's be rational about this, right? 2. You may notice that nobody else has signed them, either. Hmmmm. 3. At the same time, I'm frustrated that the Bills haven't done more in the early stages of FA to improve. That said, I'm not sure the money being handed out to these players is really worth it. Did you see the contract for Wallace? That is insane money for a WR who might be targeted 5 - 8 times a game.
  9. What have the Bills got to lose? Would you like me to make a list? First, we'd lose cap space for a real QB who can play the position. Second, we'd lose a roster spot that could be used for a real QB.
  10. I don't think she lip synced or used autotune like most of the no talent assclowns do. To have a singer actually sing is a big deal these days. However, the musicians were fake, and she doesn't write her own songs yet tries to take credit for it.
  11. Um, he also: Hand picked Aaron Maybin Fired Schonert a week before the season started - which is a sign of horrible leadership Was never able to develop a qb "Winning in the NFL is hard" You are actually correct when it comes to that draft. As sarcastic as you try to be, jargon insisted on Maybin
  12. Brad Smith is gone. In thinking about the number of plays he is in on vs. his contract, it just isn't worth it. If we're doing analytics, he's not worth it.
  13. Didn't rex try to hire him last year, but he chose Buffalo?
  14. Maybe we can move him to Tight End.
  15. I'm thinking Russ Brandon, even if in the back of his mind, thought that this hire would help sell tickets in Syracuse as part of his regionalization plan. I'm hoping that isn't true, but would be a pretty obvious thing to happen if the marketing side of his job played any influence. And that would suck if it did.
  16. Yes, I'll root for him. I think he is suited to be a great offensive coordinator. Head coach and OC at the same time? No. But he really had to go. He didn't adjust, and got stubbor with certain things that he shouldn't have, and also had some influence in bad personnel decisions (Ruvel martin, anyone?). Good guy, though. Straight shooter in press conferences. Owned his mistakes. I like to root for the good guys.
  17. Because a marketing guy shouldn't run football operations. Decisions are made to sell tickets, not build a team. For example - Tyrell Owens.
  18. We know what happened last time Russ Brandon tried to get in the football decision business. It was just as bad (or worse) that what we have now. Remember when he went "scouting"? Yeah, that was awesome, wasn't it? I'm concerned again that we have a marketing guy making football decisions again, and we're going to spin our wheels again.
  19. With a restructured contract, Fitz would be a great backup. He could get you through a few games if the main guy gets injured, and would be great in the locker room and film room.
  20. 1. Bryan Cox 2. Bryan Cox 3. Bryan Cox 4. Bryan Cox 5. Bryan Cox
  21. I understand what you mean, however I think Chan & Fitz's body of work will speak for itself, and a decision has likely been made already. Winning the last two games won't change anything, unless they look like a totally new team, and if they do that will be a good thing.
  22. I'd rather pray that a light comes on for the entire team, and it will be seen as a turning point for the future. Sorry, hoping to lose is for losers.
  23. +1 for knowing the proper use of "hear hear"
