  1. I really have no idea how you would reach that conclusion from SJ not playing in a game. That's really a huge leap you are making without having all the information.
  2. Well, than keep on whining in your delusional state. Fact is, rebuilds can and do take more than one year, especially if you don't have a QB. I prefer reality, you can continue to gnash your teeth with unrealistic expectations.
  3. I'm as upset as anyone about the season, but for pete's sake we are in the FIRST YEAR OF REBUILDING UNDER A NEW ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE! Yes, I am friggin' shouting. I think some people need a few shots of perspective. There have been plenty of mistakes made, but there have been some good things as well. Trading for Jerry Hughes was borderline genius at this point. Drafting Kiko has had good returns. Our defense is showing glimmers of dominance. Sorry dudes, it just isn't going to happen in one year, and I hate to tell you that everything won't be perfect. Get a grip on reality.
  4. Rodak is way better than James Walker, who is horrible.
  5. I don't listen to them - no matter what. The show is meritless, and both Bulldog and Schopp are awful. Schopp is the worst, though. He's always been a weenie.
  6. Dude - why don't you just give whaley a chance for pete's sake? Good lord.
  7. If you let d-bags like him irk you, you will always be irked. Jerry is a weenie. I consider him to be a pretty small person, so his act actually amuses me. He's like a little child.
  8. You are kidding, right?
  9. Jimbo was never a rookie with the Bills. He had two years of professional experience in the USFL before he stepped foot on a field in a Bills uniform. He was far more experienced than EJ in his "rookie" season. So the comparison, if anything, favors EJ because he's a less experienced QB performing at a similar level.
  10. Kido has had some bad plays, but overall he has not played poorly. Let's get real.
  11. There are a few more things that bother me: 1. The officials that are graded the best get the best games. This makes sure that struggling teams (like the bills) get the bad calls from crappy refs. 2. It is a BIG FRIGGING DEAL when New England gets a bad call against them. It is in the headlines for a week. When the Bills or another team gets shafted, it is a matter of course and nobody batts and eye.
  12. Chandler is on notice. He is good, but not great.
  13. This thread reminds me why I try not to come here the day after a loss. More knee jerks than a reflex hammer.
  14. No matter the chances, I'm just damn happy there's a conversation about it. The possibility of the team running the table isn't out of the question like it was in past years. This defense can be nasty, and with a nasty defense anything can get done.
  15. Nope, drinking isn't a problem at Bills games. "How does it hurt anyone but the drinker?"
  16. Really? He's been injured all year, and is the only guy I know of to school Revis so badly. Let's not get hasty.
  17. We're a division rival. Any advantage against a division rival is significant.
  18. The Bills faced the patriots after their bye in 2004,2005,2006,2007, and 2012. It is crazy how statistically unlikely that is. Basically, it is on purpose.
  19. My wife had one in 2011 as a result of a vertebral artery dissection after running a triathlon. It was very painful, and destroyed almost 1/4 of her cerebellum. She was 37 at the time, and in amazing shape. She's recovered fully. As a matter of fact, she ran two triathlons this past summer, the Boston Marathon this past spring, and the NY Marathon this past weekend. In short, age and health doesn't matter. It can happen for any number of reasons. And you can recover fully depending on the severity. The brain has redundancy built in. It still sucks, though. This isn't a toothache, and people shouldn't joke about it.
  20. Huge mistake by marrone and whaley having two QBs with zero inexperience going into the season as our QBs. Stupid mistake.
  21. Exactly. Leaving Tuel as your main backup was incredibly irresponsible. Stupid, even.
  22. Why the hell didn't he get a damn flu shot?
  23. I'm not sure you are quite understanding. Profession does not matter when it comes to depression, anxiety or any other "walking" mental illness. Actually, if he was a bus boy and struggling to make ends meet it might even be worse. Hell, maybe football is the thing that has kept him upright for these years. You just don't know, so be careful about what you are supposing. And no, there isn't always an indicator of depression/anxiety or mental illness when you are young. You are basing your opinions on wildly incorrect assumptions. There are lots of people around here who are close to and have experienced mental illness. There are probably even people here who are trained to counsel it who are probably cringing at what you are saying. Careful, dude.
  24. This is going to take a while to get up and running. I wouldn't expect any real results until the end of next year. The technical side alone (databases, hardware, designing the cube and fact tables, defining measures, reporting platform, etc.) will take months. He'll need to assemble a team, too. So don't expect immediate results. It is just the name of the game.
