I love the idea. I love that the British have specific chants for players. They are creative and funny, something our US fanbase is lacking in general. Except for Buffalo, because we are awesome, but we could do better. And there's also the FACT that Ted Lasso is the best show on television right now, and it isn't even close. THE BEST. That said, Allen's name doesn't work with this particular chant. Maybe we come up with something better? Boring. Not creative. Not inspiring. It's like yelling GO TEAM! Boring. We can do better.

No. This is not the “race card”. This is someone insulting someone using a racial stereotype. It is designed to denigrate someone based on the racial stereotype of Black people having large lips.
