Logically speaking, we're lucky to have 5 wins. Miracles vs Chicago, Detroit and Minnesota broke our way. One could argue we lost a luck game vs KC, but that still puts us +2 in that department. With injuries piling up, coaches losing their nerve, the QB crashing down to earth, and a brutal schedule we'll need more luck just to hit 7-9, with 6-10 not out of the question.

There is a reason Tebow beat out Orton in Denver. Orton is a great practice QB, and can light it up as a backup off the bench, but he melts under the white hot spotlight as starter. Some QB's are better suited as backups, and Orton is one.

Orton is doing a great job of playing himself out of a job. Another clunker loss and might as well put EJ back in. No pressure for making the playoffs anymore, so why not. Playoffs? PLAYOFFS??

It's called coaching by fear. Fear that the other team is expecting you to exploit their weakness so go after their strength. Fear the other team will stop you on 4th and 1 so punt. Fear the other team expects the power run on short yardage situations so try shotgun delay draws instead. Force the screen pass into alignments designed to stop it figuring they'll think we would never call such a stupid play and not cover it. A coach with a testicle will call plays that work and force the other team to stop it. We have a coaching staff of eunuchs.

Totally agree with the majority. The playcalling was atrocious, the decision making on 4th down atrocious, the prevent defense on 3rd and 16 on the decisive KC drive atrocious. The entire staff is in over their heads, especially Marrone and Hackett. We have 11-5 talent with 5-11 coaching.

I like our chances here. Alex Smith's dink/dunk show doesn't scare me, and our run defense is pretty sound. Offensively, Orton has shown big play ability, and ice in his veins in crunch time. Chiefs are bottom half of the league in stopping the run, and don't play nearly as well on the road. Bills: 24-16

Unless Urbik slept with Marrone's wife, the benching seems based on petty bullsh-t from the very start. You play your best players, and it's hard to draw any other conclusion besides Marrone demoted his best guard out of spite. Now that he's returning to the lineup, just leave him there.

Manning has historically struggled with SD. Chargers coming off an agonizing upset loss to KC and will be loaded for bear. Broncos are coming down from the Manning TD record love-fest/beat-down of SF on Sunday night. I like the Chargers 30-24.
