  1. If the Bills can't win this pathetic division Whaley shall be flogged.
  2. EJ has the accuracy of Loseman without the heart, guts or deep ball skills. Marrone can't be expected turn chicken sh-t into chicken salad. I'd take Tebow over EJ in a heartbeat, btw.
  3. The benching makes EJ more valuable. Injury risk is eliminated, longer learning curve, personal growth by overcoming adversity, learning the game better by running scout defense in practice, and removing the pressure that can cause intestinal irritation. EJ needs to be signed long term, and quick, before interest from the rest of the league starts pushing up his value.
  4. We knew this, but good to put it out there to remind Whaley apologists. The EJ overreach failed miserably. Projected a late 2nd, early 3rd round pick with a long learning curve, Whaley picked him at #16 and declared him the face of the franchise. What due diligence besides interview handshakes and back slaps did he do, exactly? Too early to tell on Watkins, but it's not an overreach to think Whaley overreached on him, too. WR is not the position you throw away top picks for, especially potential Top 10 picks for a bad team. Watkins may have potential to become a Pro Bowl receiver someday, but this was not the time, place or position for that move. The Bills are rebuilding and NEED PICKS! The Cowboy dynasty was built on trading a pro-bowl skill player for PICKS, not the reverse. Whaley is the Minnesota in this deal. The Ditka trading his draft for Ricky Williams. The bell tolls for thee, Whaley. Marrone, too. Probably Brandon, as well. Pegula will install his own executive team and clean house.
  5. If Orton falls on his face it'll be no loss. EJ was horrific. That said, Orton is a known entity. He'll be mediocre, but not a complete disaster. In this situation, mediocrity is the better option. If somehow he's even worse than EJ (is that possible?), you could always trot out Manuel to suck again.
  6. He'll play Thursday night. Teddy Bridgewater injury not serious http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11612866/teddy-bridgewater-minnesota-vikings-avoids-major-injury-left-ankle
  7. Surprised Weis is just 58. Had him pegged for mid-60's. Will make a good OC in the pros somewhere. His college and HC days are over. He and Romeo proved that not all top coordinators make good head coaches.
  8. Getting the Dilfer is the simple part. Acquiring the 2000 Ravens defense is a bit trickier.
  9. 8 wins will do it, imo. We got as good a shot as anyone in the AFC Least.
  10. Simply put, EJ was one of the worst QBs in the NFL. Maybe THE worst. Orton will be mediocre. Mediocrity is an upgrade. Hitting open men more frequently will get an extra win or two.
  11. Who ever said Orton is a savior? Everyone agrees he's just a journeyman with adequate skills. Thing is, EJ was SO bad that adequate journeyman is an improvement by comparison. Not a savior, but an improvement.
  12. Gotta laugh at Gruden and Terico saying pregame this Pats team reminds them of the Super Bowl Champion era Pats. Tom Brady should pull an Al Smith next week. Salute the fans after the NA and walk off the field for good.
  13. Actually, 27-7. And, yes, I'm thinking it. Just a little voice, barely a whisper, but it's there.
  14. No, but the heinous competition in the AFC East has me a little positivo.
  15. Granted, KC is unbeatable at home on Monday/Sunday night, but this Pats team is as bad as they look.
  16. As wretched as the Bills have looked, and dire as things may be at QB, the division is absolute garbage so anyone could take it. I honestly think 8 is the magic number, and with 5 games remaining against divisional bums who knows? We could sneak in as division champs if things break right. Need Orton to just be adequate, running game to get untracked, special teams to step up, defense to create turnovers, care of business at home, win 4 of 6 division games, and... I better stfu now.
  17. Can't believe I'm typing this, but Tom Brady is shot.
