  1. Truth. Btw, Weiss looks well north of 350 himself, and that's after Bariatric surgery. Guess morbid obesity is a requirement for KU football.
  2. Total fail as a head coach, but a brilliant OC. Maybe our next HC will consider him for the job. Our next HC should consider him.
  3. Plus he's injured. No doubt KW would show guts and toughness, tho. Orton is another wuss.
  4. Bingo. EDIT: Sorry for the redundancy. just saw it already quoted. Wasn't rooting for it, just keeping it real.
  5. Teams with strong talent at every position win with mediocrity at QB. Teams with mediocre talent need a top QB to win. Bills need a top QB.
  6. With Orton running the ship, the Bills have improved from a 5-6 win team to a 6-7 win team.
  7. I can almost feel the wind from all the EJ apologists doing their full speed backpedal. Yesterday: "EJ! EJ! EJ! I BILLIEVE IN EJ!! DON'T BASH EJ!! STAY LOYAL TO EJ!!" Today: "Errr....GO KYLE! GO KYLE! GO KYLE! ORTON IS DA MAN! WOOOT!!" Collins, Van Pelt, Holcomb, Johnson, Edwards, Losman, Fitzpatrick, Manuel, now Orton...and the beat goes on. Only, now we have an owner who will build for long term success. The putrid era of Wilson malaise is ending. We have hope for the future. Not an Orton future, a real future with a real front office, GM, coach, QB, draft team, talent investment...the good times will come. Eventually. In that I do BILLIEVE.
  8. Damn, I was hoping we'd give EJ another 30 games so we could really, really, really, really know that he sucks. Now we just really, really know he sucks. Kyle, welcome to the savior role...this week. **** the bed in Detroit and you're head is next on the chopping block.
  9. Ha! Agree with the original poster that with a Top 5 QB the Bills are playoff caliber. Top 15 QB and the Bills are a .500 team. Bottom 5 QB like we have now? Somewhere around the 5-6 win mark. Same holds true for almost every crap team, except the Raiders and Jags who are completely hapless.
  10. Fitz sucked as a starter, but was a very smart, capable backup who didn't cost us any picks and played his heart out. EJ is a tentative, sensitive 1st round prima-donna afraid to make a mistake and unwilling to fight for wins with his arm or legs. While Fitz has enjoyed a long career by getting the most out of what tools he's got, EJ will have a short, undistinguished career as a 1st round bust.
  11. Spikes was a bust FA signing at MLB. EJ a bust at QB. Watkins for the 9th pick and next year's #1? Joke. Letting Byrd, Levitre dangle and then go for nothing? Joke. Cyrus Kouandjio in the 2nd round? Might has well have picked Taro Tsujimoto. While there have been a few modest hits, the huge misses under Whaley's GM watch have been epic. The idea he somehow has retooled the Bills into a juggernaut this close to becoming Super Bowl contenders is ridiculous. The Bills have a strong DL, but LB is thin and suspect, the secondary even thinner and more suspect, the OL stinks and the QB stinks. We have a solid stable of RBs, but that is probably the easiest position in football to retool. WR seems good on paper, but who the F knows without a QB? In other words, the myth of Whaley's shining star exists solely on Bills message boards. We're no closer to being a top playoff contender than we were 5 years ago. That said, this season is more about a coronation of Pegula buying the team and securing them in Buffalo. If they stumble to another 6-10 season who cares. Same with next year, the year of no 1st round pick that would likely be another Top 10 choice. Hopefully, by 2016 Pegula has cleaned house and installed a solid executive/management team to build for the future.
  12. No, it's more sinister than that. From what I have learned, at least 4 of the interested parties have taken to anonymously creating accounts on Bills message boards and spreading negativity about EJ in an effort to drop his stock. The thought is, the Bills will buckle under that pressure and eventually cut ties prematurely allowing them to lock down EJ for a 10 year, $90 million bargain.
  13. I have sources in no less than 5 NFL cities who tell me they are already maneuvering cap room with EJ in mind. He's considered a can't miss project a couple years away, and the sources are aware of how fan disloyalty in Buffalo will drive his price down. Gotta lock him up.
  14. What the draft experts pointed out as EJ Manuel's weaknesses: I hated this pick by Whaley from the moment he made it. Set the franchise back years. He was mesmerized by EJ's stature in a suit and dreamed of the potential. This dream became a fantasy, an obsession, and he would get this can't miss franchise QB whatever the cost. He acted with his heart, his desires, but not his head. Same as he did this year with Sammy. If there is one man that needs to be fired first by Team Pegula it's Whaley.
  15. Well, being a retarded moron I'll try to form words to answer.... "Me think he not good. Me want to make sure he bad before benching. Me give him more time. Me think we know better soon."
  16. TBH, I wouldn't bench EJ quite yet. Yes, I think he's doomed to bust, but he still needs more rope to either hang himself or save himself. If he bombs out again in Houston this week that rope will grow real short. Having the highest paid backup QB in the league shortens it even further.
  17. Bust for bust? That's a lot of bust. Which one will cleavage out a better career? Probably neither. Tanny has more moxy, so gun to head I'd take him over EJ.
  18. Ha!! Green would've been a godsend compared to Edwards. My bad.
  19. Can't talk. Busy researching the history of the NFL to find out if there has ever been a time fans suspected a QB to be a bust after 13 starts. I mean, a message board poster totally dared me to, and all.
  20. In the same breath... "Forming different opinions after watching the game is completely valid." "Opinions other than mine are absurd and emotionally driven. Denying that is beyond me." Love it.
  21. I believe in EJ. Not as an NFL QB, but as a person he seems like a rather nice fellow.
