  1. Spikes, Orton, Spiller are sure things.
  2. Spikes has likely played his last game in Bufffalo, so good on him for showing some class to the team and fans before he departs.
  3. I must be even more bitter, because this win was as empty of a feeling as a preseason game for me.
  4. Romo. He's played heroically through injury and overcame the ghosts of chokes past to lead the Cowboys to the East tittle in a year everyone wrote them off for dead. Murray was great, and so was Bryant, but it was Romo who stirred the drink in crunch time. Oh, and I despise Dallas, so saying this gives me no pleasure.
  5. A lot of rumor denying out there for the Bills front office, which misdeirrigardless how you cut it shows we are making some moves. Where there's smoke there's fire. I think Whaley and Brandon are in deep doo-doo. Marrone prolly will remain in limbo until new GM/VP takes over.
  6. Misirrigardless how you look at it, that was a hilarious superfail.
  7. Counterfeit Pats beat the Bills 20-17.
  8. Really?
  9. Great thread on perspective. Was 32, had a new girlfriend, and was living in Fort Myers for a brief stint for work. Was on the phone with my father when the final play happened. Stood in stunned silence, but not disbelief, when it happened. Being a Bills fan for life you tend to expect the worst. Now I'm 47 with a wife (don't even remember the name of the girl I briefly dated) and two kids age 8 and 9, and am about 40lbs heavier for the wear.
  10. Twitter blowing up with Harbaugh to Michigan reports. All I can say is...told ya so, bitchez!!
  11. I don't know...I'm awfully stupid and would like to think Im at least in the conversation for the title.
  12. Yes. Panicked.
  13. YES!! If not for the good teams, bad teams like us would have made the playoffs many times the past 15yrs. The blame shouldn't go on us for producing a worse product than the playoff teams when it's just that we were unlucky those teams were so good.
  14. I think EJ is putrid, yet I would still start him vs NE. Why not? In the unlikely event he shows something when better to see that than in a game when there is no risk of him sucking. Obviously Orton is done in Buffalo, so what harm could it do to see if the kid learned anything during his bench time.
  15. The logic that Sammy is just as good as Beckham because Beckham's historic rookie season is somehow just "lucky" because he has Eli Manning, or "lucky" since the Giants are a bad team playing from behind, is absolute nonsense. By the same logic, Barry Sanders was just "lucky" to play for the Lions because they had a bad team and bad passing game so he was fed carries to run for all those yards. Oh, and Reggie White was just "lucky" because in Green Bay they were leading most games so he got a lot of sacks, and "lucky" before that in Philadelphia because the other great linemen opened up space for him to maneuver. In fact, every great player in the NFL is just a product of freak luck. All players are roughly the same, just some are more "lucky" than others. Those who don't achieve greatness...well, they weren't any less great, just "unlucky".
  16. Oh, for the love of...look, no disrespect to Watkins, but he couldn't sniff Beckham's jock. Sorry apologists, get over it. Beckham's astronomical numbers, in a partial season, for a bad team without a great passing game, are indisputable. Sammy is not, as it stands today, even close to being an elite NFL receiver, while Beckham is All-Pro caliber. WTF...I appreciate being a fan and all, but get real.
  17. Teddy Bridgewater. Thought he would be a flop because his workouts were atrocious. Turns out he was the best of the bunch. There are practice heroes (Orton) who can't translate into the game, and guys like Bridgewater who have that competitive "it" intangible on game day.
  18. Barring a major off-field incident or conflict, I don't see any coaching or management changes coming this year - with the possible exception of Hackett, and that's not likely, either. I think Pegula will let another draft play out and give the group one more year to make the playoffs. If they fail, then next season will see a housecleaning from GM on down. Since Whaley got rid of our top pick, and busted on EJ, we aren't a desirable place for a top GM or coaching candidate this year. In a twisted way, Whaley likely saved his and Marrone's job by leaving the cupboard bare both at QB and the 1st round of the 2015 draft.
  19. Would rather the Bills win, but not caring if they lose. My DNA doesn't tolerate tanking, but I view this as nothing more than the first 2015 preseason game. Player evaluation >> than winning the game.
  20. Playoff caliber? Bah, the Bills were Super Bowl caliber. Make that Super Bowl DYNASTY caliber. We just needed to stop being such pussywhips and blow the other losers halfway to china!! WTF is with the pessimism? I BILLIEVE! BILLIEVE! BILLIEVE!! AHHHHHHHH!!!! AAAAAAHHH!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uqjznmTp80
  21. Sorry, but Harbaugh is 51 years old. I know our cupboards are bare at QB, but we should really go with someone under 35 IMO.
  22. HUGE Grievance: Shotgun draw on goal-line and short yardage. WTF? Called it A LOT, and it NEVER WORKS. Idiocy.
  23. Best. Parody. Vid. Ever. LMFAO!!!
  24. Not sure how I feel about it. I guess if we were picked I'd be into it and glued to the show, but do I want that attention? Life as an out-of-area fan is easier under the radar. This could go wrong in so many ways and make us into a laughing stock. Don't want that. Don't need that. I don't know...mixed feelings.
