  1. Pretty sure it's bound to happen during his presidency. If it doesn't, then good, but that would be surprising.
  2. As it always is. D's opposing R's = principled opposition. R's opposing D's = obstructionism. Just is the way it's always called. Will be interesting to see what happens when Trump proposes items the D's typically support but the R's typically oppose. Still hopeful (though not tremendously) that this presidency sees Congress take back some of their authority.
  3. Well stated.
  4. Hadn't realized Kaloyeros was tied in w/ Buffalo Billions, though should've. He's been hugely involved in state disbusements in Albany & more recently in Ra-cha-cha's/Canandaigua's photonics center. Major player.
  5. HockeyDB has him listed 6'2" 201. Had thought he was ~6'3" - 210.
  6. That & the "lifetime" ban on executive branch alumni lobbying for foreign governments sound like a shot at the Clinton Foundation.
  7. Image how much of a gimme they are when Carpenter's attempts are taken out. Must be more like 98%.
  8. There is also the issue that unless there are specific ties to GDP that it doesn't limit government spending, it just limits borrowing. Very likely there would be nothing to keep congress from pushing the budget up to 30% GDP as long as the crippling taxes are that high as well.
  9. True, they did seize on them. But they didn't capitalize on them. Unless you count gaining ~2 Senate seats (when the other guys had 10 more than you up for grabs), ~10 House seats & losing the Presidency, ~3 more Governorships,~ 3 more State Houses, & having the other party's nominee nominate at least 1 & possibly 3 SC Justices capitalizing.
  10. Did Alec Baldwin ever make it back from France? Would be a shame to see him have to go back into exile.
  11. Good question.
  12. So, does the Clinton Foundation have a refund policy? Have to believe there are a few unhappy donors right about now.
  13. Could just as easily have said "Clinton lost because voters didn't believe her." Would likely be more technically correct.
  14. Very surprised he managed to defeat the coronation. Guess it is unwise when there is populist anger at the status quo to dismiss 50%+ of those that oppose you as "deplorables."
  15. Seriously? What, Lou Ferigno (sp?) had a prior commitment?
  16. Even MSNBC now expecting Clinton to lose. Have him at 244 / a near lock to 260 & about 4 states still undecided (including WI which Fox called red) any one of which woukd crush her.
  17. How many votes did Nader take? Sometimes it doesn't take many.
  18. And his white board.
  19. Not sure. If he ends up as bad as most (from both sides) suspect, hard to believeehe doesn't try something impeachment proceedings worthy.
  20. In the extremely unlikely event Trump wins, any possibility HE gets impeached? R's would get a guy they could work w/ in Pence.
  21. Still to this day don't understand how the Beebe "incomplete" pass wasn't either a catch or an interception. The ball NEVER hit the turf; though Beebe's head definitely did.
  22. In Secretary Clinton's case, he's likely correct. When you're already at a 98 on a corruption scale of 0-100, additional money really can't cause much, if any, more corruption.
