  1. How many people out there don't support any gun regulation? It's cool that you'd like to hear solutions from an opposing point of view, but when you start out mischaracterizing the view of those you don't agree w/, you probably won't get the discussion you are looking for. Also, solutions to the wackos committing mass murder will necessarily be different than those to gang-related street crime. For the street crime, take a look at what worked in places like NYC in the '90's and emulate similar programs.
  2. Bummer. Really sorry to see him go. Thought he was the perfect fit for them.
  3. Would expect that if you use a service like AnonymoX it would look like you're still in the States (or whatever other country you'd like it to look like) and then Ticket would work.
  4. The name of the sports segment on "Channel 13 News" that Sam covered for his buddy was "I on Sports." So, yes, you were.
  5. Been watching "I on Sports?"
  6. Agree w/ most all this, but didn't believe the Bills STs were better than the Fishies STs.
  7. Agreed. Can't see anybody offering more than he's worth in this scheme. Plus, if Rambo keeps crushing Darby, the Bills might really need McKelvin.
  8. Game on in St. Louis. Guess they'll have to try harder before the next game.
  9. They're showing the Bungles-Ravens on that channel now. Must still be working on the turf.
  10. Rams pyrotechnics during player intros caught a small portion of the field on fire for a few seconds. Still waiting for them to finish repairs. (Sorry if this was posted elsewhere. )
  11. Though he wouldn't necessarily be my choice, my guess is Kasich ends up the nominee.
  12. You'd think after having the Bucs knock me out 2 years ago in NO I'd avoid that game like the plague.
  13. Of course he did. Of course he is. Of course he isn't. Why would he care? Why would he care? Your final question presupposes an ability for him to think, so of course he doesn't.
  14. Looks like Larsson centering Deslauriers and Foligno tonight. So early on, it looks like battle for 12th forward is between Larsson & Legwand. On Friday, Legwand was centering that 4th line and Larssons was centering Carrier & Baptiste. Varone centering Carrier & Bailey tonight. 4th line tonight will be some combo of Ellis-Dupuy-Kea-Karbacek. According to a well connected person on SS (spndchz), the D pairings tonight will be Guhle-Pysyk Austin-Weber McCabe-Franson.
  15. Could very well be. Was mainly including him in the borderline group due to the wonky back. Didn't look like his back was giving him any issues Friday. Hopefully he stays healthy.
  16. The 2 most noticeable items from yesterday for me was that O'Reilly is not just solid in all aspects of the game, but good across the board: faceoffs, defensive zone coverage, backchecking, skating, passing, & shooting - he will earn his money; and Reinhart is much bigger this year - he looked like a hockey player and not just a skinny kid. Really liking the forwards this year. Larsson has gone from 1st line C to being the odd man out since the last time they all skated. I expect he'll work his way into a spot but not certain of it. McGinn, Foligno, & Deslauriers are the most likely to get bumped. It also will be interesting to see if Colaiacovo, Donovan, or McCabe can bump Weber out of the top 6. Barring injuries and/or subpar goaltending the team is a bubble team.
  17. Looks like I'll have to take a pass this year. Was supposed to have firewood delivered early this morning and still waiting on the trucks.
  18. I should be there.
  19. Rubio 93% Cruz 90% Bush 90%
  20. I'd be fine w/ the Bills trading any of #54 on for picks. (Even probably the last few guys that are currently slotted in at 48 - 53 as there probably isn't too much separating them from the guys that'll just miss - though they'd better get more of mid-round guys for those ones.)
  21. Bills will likely be cutting some good WR's and DL's. With Panthers losing both Benjamin & Alexander would they take, say Hogan and Carrington, for something the Bills need? (Not sure what they'd be willing to give up that the Bills would want nor that Hogan & Carrington would be the odd men out, but a trade like that could make sense.)
  22. Unless they've changed the rule recently regarding playing the #3 (as the 46th active player), they'd have to wait until the 4th to make the change. The 1st 2 are ineligible to return if he comes in any earlier.
  23. Based on what we've seen from all 3 guys so far this preseason and EJ's past 2 minute drill performances, assuming nothing significantly different happens in the next 2 weeks, I'm really hoping they keep all 3 w/ Taylor the starter, Cassel the backup, & Manuel #3. Taylor seems to have the highest baseline (not floor) of the 3, and Cassel should be serviceable in-game if Taylor is injured. If they get to the 4th and need to mount a comeback, EJ seems to play best when he doesn't have time to overthink things and he has the strongest arm of the 3, so it seems he'd give a solid shot at the comeback. I'd agree w/ the OP that in that final drive EJ looked like he'd've been good against the 1's.
