  1. I asked this of one of the other anti-Semites but got no answer. Lots of reports of tunnels under Gaza; not many (any?) reports of bomb shelters there. Why is that?
  2. Judging by the # or companies incorporated in DE, it would appear to be the case.
  3. I know this is in response to whether Brandon helped keep the team here or not. (And on that point I'm on board w/ Kirby.) But it is very unlikely that TP would punt Brandon if he does have the winning bid. Though TP doesn't need to turn a profit, it's unreasonable to think he doesn't want to turn a profit. If Russ can make one of the smallest market teams AND the team w/ a ~14 year playoff drought bring in more revenue than 12 other teams, why wouldn't he want him running the business side of things? If he's that successful bringing in $'s for this awful product, imagine what he could do if Whalley or his successor gets it right?
  4. Poor FA management - both management of their own and who they bring in Poor coaching - Greggo & Wanny as exhibits 1A&1B but there are many more Poor QB play - except for Drew's 1st 8 games, Fitzy has been the best of the bunch Poor drafting, both philosophically & in actual selections Poor conditioning &/or poor luck - lots of injuries Which all indicts poor FO directly & ownership indirectly. That covers most of it. But it does seem to be turning around. There's light at the end of the tunnel; hopefully it's not an oncoming train.
  5. But the line sounded cool and made Romney look out of touch w/ low information voters. Whether it was accurate or not, to quote a former SoS, "what difference at this point does it make?!"
  6. A case can be made to finance, but it isn't necessary. The poster I replied to said that staying debt free was "unsustainable." Taking on debt because it makes financial sense (& we don't know it does, though it might) does not make debt free "unsustainable."
  7. 1st, he's sitting on about $2B in cash above the last deal. Plus he could turn additional land holdings for cash if he needs / wants. 2nd, if the new stadium costs $1B, how much of that will NYS taxpayers like me end up ponying up? Now, how much debt does TP have to take on to have a new team & a new stadium?
  8. Pegula just cleared ~$1.3B on his recent land sale (beyond selling his company a few years back for several $B). Why does the team need to take on debt if his bid wins?
  9. Gary Anderson lost the preseason battle to Mick-Mayer intentionally. Hard to call him a preseaon all-pro. He looked terrible because Ralph wouldn't let him get a reasonable contract.
  10. Has a nice rhythm to it when sung to "pop goes the weasel" or Allan Sherman's "I hate the Beatles."
  11. I am truly looking forward to the day Littman has no involvement with this team.
  12. I'm awaiting the conspiracy theories that say the CDC shipped Ebola patients to Atlanta so Ebola can break out over here. This being the final straw necessary to goad Repubs into impeaching the President (who would obviously not care for the welfare of the people &/or demonstrate he can't/won't control the executive branch). Thus ensuring Repub defeat at the national level for at least a decade.
  13. 9-7 2nd in division. Just miss 2nd WC. IF they sweep Jest, then they snag last WC.
  14. Damn shame he didn't smoke pot. Pretty sure I read something around here that PROVED pot prevents strangulation; especially in folks pushing 20% of a ton.
  15. Just out of curiosity, there have been many reports of reinforced tunnels in/under Gaza; why no reports of bomb shelters?
  16. Wouldn't it have to be brown or a similar shade?
  17. Could be. Would have to be pretty ballsy to show that much foot.
  18. Sorry 'bout that. Saw you mention the 2 Cleveland games and didn't notice the 3rd game mentioned there. A truly brutal game that very few sat through. The redeeming factor for that game is several of the few I know who watched it were Jints fans.
  19. Though the Bills won, surprised nobody mentioned the '87 Classic 6-3 OT win for the counterfeit Bills over the Giants. No score until the 4th and missed field goals everywhere. The 2 worst scab squads put on one for the ages.
  20. According to Pew's interactive site, it looks like courts made it legal in 8 states and invalidated DOMA; 8 states and DC's legislatures passed laws; and 3 states in 2012 voted for it. It looks like voters in 30 states passed laws againt it with 28 still standing. I'd agree w/ you on your factor 1, but don't buy it for SM w/ only 3 states having the citizens directly vote it in. Though interestingly courts are no longer the majority provider of it. http://www.pewforum.org/2014/06/25/same-sex-marriage-state-by-state/
  21. How many of those 19 states had gay marriage imposed upon them by judges and how many had it voted in directly by the electorate with their 'open eyes?'
  22. You DON'T expect the list to be at least as long as one of your late evening diatribes?!?
  23. Tom, you might want to reconsider compiling the list. By the time you're done it will be much longer than a standard issue OC post.
  24. Mike Williams and Robert Woods.
