  1. How the #### do you 'run out of words?' Couldn't they have simply had some rapper make up new ones for them?
  2. Jay, If it's not too late, put me down for 5.

  4. I preferred 'the pen is mightier.' http://www.funnyjunk...ovies/8806/SNL/ (Starts ~2:48 in.)
  5. Interesting.
  6. Just purely out of curiosity, why are these misfortunate, abducted school girls 'our girls?' Have these people claiming them ever given any money or aid to them in the past? Or are the hashtags the extent of their charity and their aid? Again, just curious.
  7. Fixed it for you.
  8. I'd've gone w/ a 4 fold increase in hurricane related claims over 30 years being due to inflation and unintended consequences of seriously underpriced flood insurance, w/ a further assist from Florida's bankruptcy provisions keeping a primary residence pretty much untouchable by creditors; but he does make a convincing case for it being global warming. Also, is that article REALLY trying to claim that sea levels are up more than 7.5"? (20 cm, IF the author is, I'd like to know what his baseline sea level is.) I'm pretty sure the rise in sea levels assisting that particular storm surge was something we used to call 'high tide.'
  9. Uh, right behind the racoon?
  10. It appears he already has one.
  11. How much higher profile do you need than watching 7-11 Hogan star and get cut at the end?
  12. Very sorry to 'hear' that. Will say a prayer for her.
  13. Santa Claus is dead!?!?! Say it ain't so. RIP
  14. We shall see soon enough. I don't see the Bruins realistically leaving his control.
  15. I am well aware that he can keep the Bruins w/in his family and make a play for the Bills. My contention was with your (and other posters) stating &/or implying he'll sell the B's to outside interests. I don't see anyway that happens. He's the 2nd most powerful owner in a league bringing in ~$3.5B/yr. It's only 1/3-1/4 of what the NFL does, but it isn't chump change and being 2 is better than being 32 which is where the new Bills' owner sits (will sit).
  16. No way the 2nd most powerful owner in the NHL quits it. I can see him being interested in the Bills.
  17. Cough, cough, Chara. (Iginla might be considered a 'big' FA as well.)
  18. Chiarelli taking over as GM and Sinden bumping up out of that role had a lot to do with it. Neely taking over as President and bumping Sinden further out of the direct loop also had a role.
  19. Because it will cut into Buffett's profits and big D backers hate it. (Yeah, I know the q was rhetorical. Sorry.)
  20. Well stated. I doubt anyone would ever say that Presidents Carter nor Bush 43 hated the US. Prior to President Obama taking over either would get a lot of votes as the worst President in their lifetime. Now, either would lose a lot of those votes. I don't believe that the President hates America; but his vision of how to reach his ideal America seems to be giving us President Carter on steroids. Not good.
  21. Always thought New Orleans should have called themselves the Fighting Mormons and then see if Utah wanted to swap monikers.
  22. Plus we don't know whether he's speaking from personal experience. Perhaps he can't turn on a computer himself.
  23. In fairness to him, any country that could have 1/2 of its legislative branch run by this dolt might truly have a large portion of the citizenry that IS too stupid to use a website.
  24. Here's to hoping his successor feels as loyal to keeping the Bills in town as RW did for 55 years. Once again, RIP RW.
