  1. Steve Dallas is back! And a small part of the universe is back in tune. (Or should it be 'toon? )
  2. Never once had an ATM screw up a check deposit. Have had, on at least 4 separate occassions, a major bank mess up a check deposit in the past 2 years. 3 times checks 'vanished;' the other, the cash that was deposited with the checks disappeared. Saving the deposit slip that showed the cash saved me quite a bit of money. ATM's are far superior to AT's.
  3. That's the big Q. Have been to parties where Dinosaur was catered in, and the food was still very good. Not as good as sitting down at the restaurant but very solid. Am hopeful that they'll be set up in a way that what we get at the stadium is comparable. Doubt it will be as good as the restaurant, but expect it to be far better than if Sports Service got their grubby celophane packed fingers on it.
  4. The fact that a self-avowed socialist is running for President does not necessarily imply in any way that he has an even remotely realistic "chance." Trump w/ no chance has a better chance than Sanders.
  5. Watched the landing on TV when it happened but was WAAAAAY too young to remember. Remember the Apollo-Soyuz linkup and 1st shuttle launch much better (not surprisingly).
  6. A short (not terribly enlightening) report on him bringing the strip back. http://mobile.vnews.com/home/17791264-108/berkeley-breathed-talks-about-why-bloom-county-is-back
  7. Day-um. The Aussies take this "shark week" stuff to heart.
  8. Just seeing it now as well. Very sad. RIP.
  9. There'll be fewer unionized workers working? Probably. But union labor is far more inelastic to a minimum wage increase than labor making mimimum is. The campaign checks will keep rolling in, which is what's truly important.
  10. How is that bad for unions that have their contracts tied to the minimum wage? Minimum wage goes up, D's solid voting block gets raises. Of course they're going to push for it. Those were the people you were referring to w/ the "those the libs want to help," right?
  11. Is the answer: anyone who worked at the State Department under her tenure that might have had any possibility of receiving or sending an e-mail Madame Secretary would prefer to not get FOIA'd?
  12. Thought that was his point. Even if the Bills lose a coordinator to a HC job somewhere, they will be in the mix, at worse, to get the next coordinator that'll be in the mix for HC openings.
  13. Psst. Somebody want to tell her the Mao lookalike contest was LAST Thursday?
  14. Really? The only people in the entire world that don't believe the case for anthropomorphic induced climate change has been compelling made are "RRAC's?" No hyperbole there.
  15. Brady's method isn't just higher risk gamesmanship - it is flat out cheating. He's directing the ballboy to steal the balls from the refs and then alter them after they were inspected. And intent isn't at issue, it's action that's the issue. You can intend to have some of other peoples' money w/out "working." You can panhandle - annoying, but not cheating; or you can pick their pockets - annoying & cheating. While the latter method will likely yield more cash, it definitely is higher risk and entails more consequences. But the cheating isn't what will be his downfall; it'll be his obstruction of the investigation.
  16. Can't see how he doesn't sit a few games for obstructing the league's investigation and lying. They have to sit him at least 1/2 a season or nobody will ever work w/ the league on an investigation again.
  17. Assuming the Eulers stay on track, the Sabres are set up to have the 2 best Americans in NHL history: LaLaLaLaLaLaFontaine & Jack. Pretty ####ing cool.
  18. Greg, why does it have to be one or the other? It could be both.
  19. Yup. Tiebreaker is ROW. Yotes gave 19. Sabres have 14. W/ only 3 left, Sabres have the edge.
  20. After all games played into 4/4, the magic #'s (in points, and reflecting tiebreakers) are: Buffalo: 2 Arizona: 11 Edmonton: 16 Tiebreaker can't flip, so a tie goes to Sabres. There are currently 12 points available between Buffalo / Arizona. No more H-t-H's between the 2 teams. Sabres control their own destiny for 30th and maintain that by going no better than 2-1-0. (Any points picked up by Arizona adds equally to the points the Sabres can pick up, obviously.)
