  1. What's the price to move up to 33? I hope Beane is on the phone finding out.
  2. I wouldn't simply assume DK is going to be there at 40. If he is, good chance he's the pick. If Bills want to be certain, they have to be proactive.
  3. Guess I'm really ancient or something, but the booing Goodell thing rubs me wrong and it gets old when the entire first round is filled with it.
  4. Yeah, I'm commenting without being aware of how this draft played out. Thanks, I agree. They will have to trade up and I hope they do.
  5. That's sort of the problem with taking TE in the 1st. Imo, the value is later in the draft for TE when you can pick up a Josh Oliver or maybe Knox or Sternberger. You really need first rounder for OL, DL, or WR (CB or QB if you need one.) If you go TE in the first and CB in the second, you are ignoring both OL, DL, and WR till third round barring trade ups. Don't see the positional value with that strategy.
  6. If they spend early on D, the next pick better be on the side that helps the developing franchise qb succeed.
  7. Maybe you should have a tiny bottle on hand to collect the tears like a Roman emperor. Personally, I like the fella. If this low-balling gets him to drop to where we can move up from 40 to get him, all the better.
  8. If the order your source gave is determinative, I think at least one of Taylor, Oliver, or Wilkins is there at nine. I predicted Wilkins as the pick. He's a process sort of fella. Think Oliver won't be there. Jacksonville takes Taylor or he could be there too.
  9. My gut says Wilkins ends up the pick. If we go offense, I think Jonah is the pick. Neither is close to my first choice, but they're solid choices.
  10. There isn't really. Q. Williams, Oliver, and DK are my favorite players, though. When asked Ginger or Mary Ann, I always think, why not both?
  11. I agree. We don't probably have enough early picks, even with plausible trade downs and trade ups, to address all one would like. DT, Edge, OT imo, WR, TE on my list. Not sure where I would sacrifice, but TE is not one of the positions I neglect this draft.
  12. I wouldn't hate it if Hockenson is the choice, but I think the sweetspot for TE is later in the draft. I like Josh Oliver. I think Sternberger and Knox are worth a look as well.
  13. I would be thrilled with that draft, but I can't believe in it really. I'll go Metcalf, Risner.
  14. I agree with this. One fella here thinks Williams best position would actually be center. So, there's definitely more chances you find a place for a player like that.
  15. I like the D at the top of the draft, but Bosa, Allen, Q. Williams, Oliver, and White could easily all be gone before we pick. If we go offense at #9, I can understand Jonah Williams or Hock. They are safer picks, but I would take the chance at the super high ceiling with DK.
  16. I just don't see an OT worthy of #9. I'm not convinced Jonah Williams is a tackle, really, and I don't think he's the next Q. Nelson at guard, though he'll probably be solid. Taylor is the fella with the most upside at tackle supposedly. I think Dillard is soft and a finesse kind of player; that doesn't sound like it fits with the kind of line we are trying to build. Tytus Howard is a developmental tackle worth looking at. You can get him in the second.
  17. Assuming Oliver and Q Williams are gone, if Devin White is there at #9, you take him.
  18. Nah, I'm taking Hock at 15 and happy with the extra second.
  19. Etienne and D'Andre Swift are my favorite rbs likely available next yr.
  20. I'm so old I thought this was going to have something to do with a Trix commercial.
