Fake Latin names are neologisms that play a role in the joke you are missing in the same manner you missed the point of the thread. -

Ah, the annoying Formicidae Dismalus, always ready to pronounce gloomy skepticism at the Sunday picnic. And the ever present, Diptera Missingthepointus. -
Well, CNN is conveniently based in Atlanta -- and a mob isn't particularly known for rational acts. Nonetheless, deliciously ironic that the dim propagandists who work for that network and have incited and amplified rage and validated the rioters as righteous protestors should get a taste of the brew they have materially contributed to.

Who's your favorite Bill on the current roster?

Lot of likeable fellas on this team, but Josh Allen is my favorite. -
Josh Allen is training with Bills receivers in Florida

Still trying to figure out which cup has the orange under it. -
It was that 89 fella. Seemed to me he knew something at one time, though now that you mention it, I may be confusing him with 39. I agree on Eichel. My impression of Botts which could be utterly wrong is that he is a decent, industrious fella, but I don't sense creativity. You need some to be a good tactician. I also think he is seen by other GMs as someone you can take advantage of -- that ROR deal did him and the team no favors. Anyway, since he's getting one last shot, I hope for all our sakes he is successful.

Fella who posts at Sabres Hockeybuzz says Eichel wants out and it will become more clear soon. He's had inside information before, so I don't think it can be dismissed out-of-hand. In general, hard to see much to fend off despair with this team. To balance it out, there is talent on the team. A competent GM would make 3 - 4 shrewd moves and you could see a playoff team. Just not confident we have that GM.

Remembering James Robert Kalsu

Post-war trauma and despondency are in themselves terrible ordeals with manifold destructive consequences. None of that precludes honoring those who served or the belief that their service was worthwhile. Telling folks to shut up if they haven't experienced those specific horrors is pretty much the opposite of the kind of freedom of thought and speech this country was founded to promote. -
Which Bills player is mostl likely to progress in 2020?
Dr. Who replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Knox becoming a more reliable receiver would also dramatically affect Josh Allen. As Ron Jaworski likes to say "qb is a dependent position." Without superior play at TE, Lamar Jackson doesn't become MVP. I am also enthused about Moss. Now we only need the season to actually happen. -
I think they expect him to be good. This notion that they are uncertain is projecting by a certain sector who have always been skeptical for the most part. I think the locker room is convinced. Doesn't mean they couldn't be wrong, but they didn't invest in Diggs to get clarity.

Anybody want to go on record about Josh?
Dr. Who replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Option 1 -- just because it's what your heart wants doesn't make it irrational. So far, only poster I value who has voted #3 is Logic. Don't add to that list. I should clarify the rest of you fellas who are wrong are okay, but it didn't hurt me to see your names there. -
Zack Moss runs a 4.52 40 yard dash

If he hits the long ball, all those folks voting against top ten qb are in lost the bet category. -

I sorta wonder if he is JeffisMagic. -
Nice of you to stay away, but then again, here you are. 1 -- Whenever there is a debate, excuses are reasons and reasons are excuses depending on which side you happen to favor. There are very few if any Allen optimists who do not recognize he needs to grow and improve, so if you're implying otherwise, I don't see it. 2 -- No one says Allen is the only young qb that can improve. The focus is on Allen because he's our qb. Get over it. And the substantial argument about growth points to Allen's unique backstory that includes less playing time and lack of superior coaching at the collegiate level as a factor that makes it reasonable to argue that he has more room for growth. 3 -- Allen is now in a great situation. The first year his surrounding talent was an utter disaster. Last year, the o-line ascended to adequate, same for wr corps. I also believe Daboll's play calling was sometimes suspect. Young qb, so we often played it close to the vest, which resulted in close games when suddenly late in the fourth the playbook opens up. (To be fair to Daboll, it's also true that Allen failed to read a lot of open receivers or ignored them trying to make a bigger play.) 4 -- If you're being honest, Allen is a "weak link" only in the sense that it's still unknown whether he'll continue to progress or not. OTOH, he's shown enough skills and development that he is in the conversation for darkhorse MVP. That's a stretch with our schedule, but folks who think he's an incipient franchise qb are not irrational for believing they've seen enough to plausibly hope for it.
