  1. For years after Kelly we had qbs who routinely threw passes just like the one Kirk Cousins ended the Giants' game with. For years, when Bills faced a third and long, hell, third and medium, you knew the punter was already warming up. We now have the best team in the league converting third down. You are never out of a game with Josh Allen. Three losses this year by a combined eight points. We generally have to play bad and get bad breaks just to put ourselves in a position to lose. Josh Allen is that good. Greg Cossell who is no dummy has said numerous times, often to media personalities that don't want to hear it, that Allen is the most gifted qb to ever suit up in the NFL. He's also the single most fun player to watch, even though the paid pundits will continue to favor Mahomes and are lining up Burrow as second choice of the fella they want to gush over.
  2. Well, I have my issues with the Novum Organum, but full props for apt reference going back four centuries.
  3. Alright, yes I understand . . . it's still a factor overall if everything else remains a tie. We have differing sensibilities on this. The matter is trivial. If you wish to call that whining, that's your prerogative.
  4. I understand its a rotation. I also understand that we have won there. It still ticks me off that the regular season game is over there. If this were not a window where the Bills are SB contenders and the #1 seed is in play, of course, no one would care. Naturally, if one posits a win, the consequences are only good. However, maybe you think it wouldn't matter if the AFCCG was at Arrowhead. I'm glad it's not.
  5. Yes, this doesn't really bother me. Certainly not as much as the mystical rotation that ends up with the Bills at Arrowhead every damn season. (I know that is technically hyperbole.)
  6. I think the difference is the Bengals' beat up oline and Buffalo home field advantage. Bengals D isn't nearly as good on the road, btw.
  7. Yes, I take your point. I'm going to give it a try, though I am actually too lazy to put anyone on ignore just now. I'll just wait until someone annoys me and enjoy zapping them.
  8. They think it's a joke, not having been to the KFC in Marietta, GA.
  9. There might be something to the notion that Daboll could be a father figure and Dorsey is more a big brother that Josh is less inclined to take criticism from. I dunno, but someone needs to get Josh clear on this. It seemed to me last year's playoffs he was much more open to taking the underneath routes.
  10. I kind of felt ethically compelled not to censor folks since I don't like it when I am erased for various reasons, but I take your point and free speech really should only apply to ideas and not intentional black magic.
  11. I think this is correct. Josh is smart. He needs to realize how much more dangerous and effective the offense would be if he took even 30% of those checkdowns. The opposing D would not be able to discard the underneath routes and key on the long ball.
  12. You and NUT and Airseven, etc. all chime in with the negative juju and most if not all of you are from clan troll.
  13. I think Hopkins is too expensive with Josh's cap hit becoming a significant factor, but the overall sentiment is spot on.
  14. I used to worry about it a lot when I was younger. Now I have developed other interests that are ultimately more important and I realize there's little point indulging anxiety over something I can't control. Though, I suspect I'm not really that evolved and mostly I am fairly confident the Pegula family will do right by Buffalo. If the new stadium materializes, that lease probably lasts longer than I do.
  15. The NFL brand is better because there are teams like the Packers and the Bills.
  16. I think I saw someone mocking him to the Chargers in the first as well. That would surprise me a bit. Any way, hands off evil competitors.
  17. All this realism is disappointing. I liked the notion that if my team was sucking, there was a chance the magic half-time genie would work some magic.
  18. Drafttek has him listed as #91 on their big board. I would definitely consider even a small trade up in the third to secure him. He would be a piece that would improve the overall oline competency.
  19. Yes, late to the party as well. This place would be much duller without you.
  20. Honestly, I think the post right above yours is pretty clear. And as for KC, some equitable adjustment is valid. I don't think the Chiefs were slighted. If anything, they were pretty much gifted a first round bye.
  21. Only neutral site game possibility is Chiefs and Bills. Jags will come to Orchard Park if they pull the upset. Why would you rather play KC at Arrowhead than Atlanta? Lots of Buffalo transplants in Atlanta.
  22. Folks were worried that we couldn't win the close ones. It was either a blow out win or a close loss. What happened is we decided to muck up a lot of potential blow outs and they are now close wins.
  23. He's been spying on Josh since college? That's crooked.
