  1. My take on the game, and the state of the team: 1) Seeing the Bills Fans crying on TV was a semi-traumatic experience for me. It was just so sad. Bills Fans are clearly the most loyal fans of any team in any sport. It really hurt to see these wonderful, loyal folks this upset. 2) Josh is GREAT!!! He is more talented than John Elway. They should extend him today with a HUGE raise, and I don't care how many years are left on his contract. 3) I think that most of us long time fans knew that there was every chance that he would miss that FG. 4) Without Josh, the Bills are just a pretty good team with a fairly decent coach (who has far too much power). 5) I strongly doubt that McDermott will be fired. Pegula appears to be spellbound by him. 6) The upcoming draft will be pivotal. The team desperately needs wide receivers and must continue to bolster the offensive line. Josh HAS to be protected. Will McDermott focus on these issues? It's really hard to say. Am I super confident that he will? No. 7) GO BILLS TODAY, TOMORROW, and FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. You better think twice About leavin' me behind Make up your mind About what you're gonna do You take my advice Oh, woman, you've got to choose Take a little time You've got nothing more to lose
  3. He is GREAT at every phase of his position. Best freshman DB I ever watched. He led Alabama in tackles. He is also great on the run, picks off passes and blitzes well. He even has great hands when returning punts. This kid is going to rip the Big 10 apart.
  4. The Bills are going to win this game. Like the OP, I was not even a little surprised at the 13 second debacle. This time it's different. Much different. Josh is playing GREAT at this point. He looks virtually unstoppable. It is nothing short of a pleasure to watch him play. He is doing all this without a great receiving corps but he is just so good it hardly seems to matter. The Chiefs? I can't turn on my TV without Mahomes being in a commercial, and Kelce would appear to be busy trying to calculate how much money he can get from Taylor Swift. Just how hungry can they be? Motivated enough to face us in fridgid conditions in front of thousands of screaming maniacs? I hardly think so. Oh.....and screw the Chiefs! Buffalo Bills 37 - State Farm Swifts 14 GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Gideon come in with his eyes on the floor Says: "y'ain't got a hinge, you can't close the door" Moses stood up a full six foot ten Says: "you can't close the door when the wall's caved in"
  6. Good luck but he was no great shakes at Alabama.
  7. We will also see what happens in Michigan if Harbaugh goes to the NFL. It will probably pay a bit less but it is a much easier job, and there are already lots of openings. He can probably pick and choose an NFL team.
  8. We don't make no party out of lovin' We like holdin' hands and pitchin' woo We don't let our hair grow long and shaggy Like the hippies out in San Francisco do And I'm proud to be an Okie from Muskogee A place where even squares can have a ball We still wave Old Glory down at the courthouse And white lightnin's still the biggest thrill of all
  9. You tell me you're lonely, I know how you feel Leaning up at the bars, rocking back on my heels She's a wild bird that wanders, too easy to stray I knew she had to lose me to find her own way Oh, Corey, I'll be coming soon Through the Louisiana pines to the Mississippi moon Through the Louisiana pines to the Mississippi moon
  10. When I think about those nights in Montreal I get the sweetest thoughts of you and me Memories of love above the city lights Oooo, I've tried so hard to take it But alone my heart won't make it I just wanna stop And tell you what I feel about you, babe I just wanna stop I never wanna live without you, babe I just gotta stop For your love...
  11. I got troubles, whoa-oh I got worries, whoa-oh I came home again But I woke up this morning You were on my mind... And You were on my mind Yeah, I got troubles, whoa-oh I got worries, whoa-oh I got wounds, to bind
  12. It's strange. Without looking up stats I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the Steelers usually beat us up. The Drew Bledsoe game (playing against Pitt substitutes) haunts me. That said, I am extremely confident today. It is 95% because of Josh. No matter how hexed we would appear to be, Josh is a flat out superstar. I'm looking at the Bills by 21. Bills 28 - Pitt. 7 with most of the points coming on turnovers that Josh capitalizes on. Call me crazy.
  13. Just like crazy Otto, just like Wolfman Jack, Sittin' plush with a royal flush, aces back to back. Just like Mary Shelly, just like Frankenstein, Clank your chains, and count your change, and try to walk the line. Did you say your name was Ramblin' Rose? Ramble on baby, settle down easy Ramble on rose.
  14. Q) Why did the psychotherapist ask his suicidal patient to change his name to Jeffrey Epstein? A) To make sure he didn‘t kill himself.
  15. Off the wind on this heading lie, the Marquesas We got eighty feet of the waterline Nicely making way In a noisy bar in Avalon I tried to call you But on a midnight watch I realized Why twice you ran away (I think about) Think about how many times I have fallen Spirits are using me, larger voices calling What heaven brought you and me Cannot be forgotten
  16. I wanted Sarkisian but knew that there was no way Alabama could compete monetarily with Texas. I read somewhere that Sexton got Sark a raise to his already big salary to stay in Texas. Kiffen would have been fine as well but he seems to have burned bridges with his unceremonious departure as OC. I don't know anything about Deboer but folks are raving about him. Still, the whole situation is very sad, unless one's team no longer has to face Saban.
  17. That sounds rough. Years ago I was at RWS when Bledsoe was the qb and we were playing Arizona. It wasn't snowing but the winds were insane. He tossed a little screen and the wind blew the football backwards. 45 mph is rough but winds like this would give Josh a decided edge against really any other passer in the world imo.
  18. I don't remember what year the game was but I'm almost sure that the Colts were undefeated at the time. I think they were even favored in Buffalo. @BADOLBILZ can probably recall the year and like he said above, I have never seen a QB take that kind of continuous punishment, and I go back to the truly violent days.
  19. Damn! I took them before the season at +800.
  20. I was at that game and have no idea how Harbaugh was not carted off of the field. The Bills front four took turns destroying him. Bryce Paup really punished him but the hardest hit he took was from Hansen, who was running full speed untouched and unobstructed. To this day I consider Harbaugh one of the toughest guys I have ever seen.
  21. It's much too groovy a summer's day To waste running 'round in the city But here on the sand I can dream away Or look at the girls if their pretty It's a turn down day, nothin' on my mind It's a turn down day, and I dig it
  22. Are you going to be butt hurt and jealous of The Crimson Tide and Coach Saban for the rest of your life, or do you think that the pain will fade some after a few years of futile misery?
  23. Several months ago he purchased a house in Florida for approx. 22 million dollars. l heard a rumor of him stepping down a couple of months ago from a guy with big connections to the program. I tried to block it from my mind. Coach Saban was said to make 11.7 million dollars per season. He also owns a hotel and two Mercedes dealerships. He does not need, nor did he do this for the money. Jealous haters will insult Coach Saban but NOBODY in college football history (including Bryant and Paterno) has a record that comes close to his. I've been an Alabama Fan since my father sat me in front of the TV as a little talking about the Crimson Tide and I must say that it has been an almost indescribable pleasure. Saban, with seven, has more national titles than and coach active or inactive. Two active coaches are tied for 2nd place. They have two each. I finally got to fulfill a lifelong dream and went to a game in Tuscaloosa. It cost me several thousand dollars and was worth every penny. Crimson Tide Fans and Bills Fans have a great deal in common. I am talking about pure and unwavering loyalty. After Bear Bryant stepped down the team was not all that good for many years. When Saban came to town fans were waiting for him at the airport and cheering. We all know what happened and I can only imagine the uproar and sadness going on down there now. NOBODY worked harder than Saban. His methods were not a secret, but who would really be willing to work that hard? After winning a title on a Monday Night several years ago he demanded that all of his assistants be at his office on Thursday morning. Coaches did not become assistants at Alabama to have fun. It was demanding, never ending work, but if you are Sarkisian, Kirby, Locksley, Kiffen, Daboll, and countless other former Saban assistants I'm sure they will tell you it was worth it on their way to the bank. Anyway, thanks Coach Saban for your hard work. Through your guidance, many kids stayed out of trouble and are VERY wealthy. I hope to see you on TV as an analyst (making 5 or 10 million per year) but only if you feel up to it. Stay healthy, best wishes to the best ever, and thank you . ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
