'Cause I am barely breathing And I can't find the air Don't know who I'm kidding Imagining you care And I could stand here waiting A fool for another day I don't suppose it's worth the price You're worth the price, the price that I would pay But I'm thinking it over anyway I'm thinking it over anyway

I still fail to understand how these mistakes at WR, in addition to the entire draft philosophy is more of a reflection on Beane than McDermott, who obviously has the more power of the two. McDermott is a defensive coach and has proven that defense it his top priority since the day he walked into town. After trading away the Mahomes pick (to draft a cornerback) he got Beane hired and continued down the defensive path, even trading up to do so. My question is: Is Beane really even a football man or a mix of money manager and CEO?

So did Jerry Ostroski.

When you were young and on your own How did it feel to be alone? I was always thinking of games that I was playing Trying to make the best of my time But only love can break your heart Try to be sure right from the start Yes, only love can break your heart What if your world should fall apart?

I was never a fan of the Cowboys, ever. That said, they had some GREAT linemen on both sides of the ball. Guys lile Smith, Dorsett, Irving and Aikman seemed to get all the credit but the likes of Larry Allen, Leon Lett, and Erik Williams were flat out scary. I have never seen a right tackle as good as Erik Williams and I'm not sure there ever was one even in his class. Jason Peters was our right tackle for a season before moving to LT and imo he was the best player on the team (so of course he was traded). Peters was a superstar but again, Erik Williams was in a class by himself, as was Larry Allen. Jmo.

Imo Gabe Davis IS an example of an inflated market. Let's see how many passes he catches (and/or drops) without Josh Allen throwing to him.
-
And you have ZERO issues with his rape allegation. Am I correct?

It will be interesting to see how many get bent out of shape, as they did for the recent, more publicized incident.

Ya think? He put up amazing stats playing opposite Hill. If Hill wasn't there he would get even more chances. Defenses cannot stack up against Hill and limit coverage on Waddle because if they did he would destroy them. The man was a great player the first day he stepped onto the field. If Josh Allen was his QB the Bills would win a Super Bowl.
-
Yes because he is worth more.

Waddle? He's a wide receiver. I remember reading somewhere that they are a dime a dozen. Never mond.

I'm not sure about the bolded. Many big time players wind up in financial distress. This doesn't mean that I am necessarily against the legalized gambling. I suppose that if a player really wanted to bet on games he already could do so illegally, although probably with more difficulty. Also, I am unsure how it works with the legal betting in terms of paying tax. Are winnings taxable?

1) He had TONS of competition but I'm going to run with Guard Marcus Spriggs. He stood still after RJ got destroyed with a very late hit. RJ was bleeding on the turf and not only didn't he retaliate, he walked away and wouldn't help him up. My runner-up would be CJ Spiller. He would get the football and not know which way to run. An absolute, total disaster and the poster boy for a wasted draft pick. 2) Rex was insanely bad. When Schobel was the only pass rusher we had he was sent into coverage. That said, I'm going to run with Diick Jauron. There was no fight in him. All he seemed to care about were defensive backs. Jaron was too awful to even describe.

Harrison Butker…oy vey…what a commencement “speech”
Bill from NYC replied to eball's topic in Off the Wall
He called Mushnick a "bigot," "disgrace," and desptie Mushnick being Jewish, accused him of "trying to make the world safe for us white male Christians." If you cannot admit that this is excessive I really don't know how, nor have the wherewithal to convince you that it is. You seem to jump all over the fact that the community of which you speak should not be demeaned. OK, great. At the same time you are supporting a person being personally shamed and ridiculed for having an opinion with which you do not agree. There seems to be little point in taking this any further. Your stance on free thinking and free speech seem to be pretty much impenetrable. I do however wish you well. Happy Memorial Day to you and yours!!! -
Go lightly from the ledge, babe Go lightly on the ground I'm not the one you want, babe I will only let you down You say you're lookin' for someone Who will promise never to part Someone to close his eyes for you Someone to close his heart Someone who will die for you and more But it ain't me, babe No, no, no, it ain't me babe It ain't me you're lookin' for, babe
