  1. I spoke to him tonight. He is still active, all over the internet. 😁
  2. I have a friend I've never seen He hides his head inside a dream Someone should call him and see If he can come out Try to lose the down that he's found But only love can break your heart Try to be sure right from the start Yes, only love can break your heart What if your world should fall apart?
  3. Do not sleep on Jermaine Burton. He might be a bit of a head case (not sure) but he gets open. He is very quick and has great moves. It is harder to rate Alabama receivers this season because the QB is at his best running the football. That said, Jermaine is a very talented kid. I'm not totally sure if he is ready to be a #1 receiver, however; I am all but certain that he would be an excellent #2. Jmo. Excellent!!!!!
  4. When you wish upon a star Your dreams will take you very far, yeah But when you wish upon a dream Life ain't always what it seems, oh-yeah What you see on nights so clear, hey In the sky so very dear, yeah You're a shiningr star No matter who you are Shining bright to see What you could truly be (what you could truly be)
  5. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^You mean there are lots of inaccurate, exagerated posts? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I couldn't resist.
  6. I got to keep my image While suspended from a throne That looks out upon a kingdom With people all unknown Who imagine I'm not human And my heart is made of stone And I've never had no problems And my toilet's trimmed with chrome I'm a man, yes I am And I can't help but love you so No, no, no, no, no, no
  7. I'm not so sure I would call him a dictator. He is more of an inadequate flim flam man imo. One who needs to get out of Buffalo and take his b.s. "process" with him. Btw, GREAT screen name! Roscoe was a good example of what was wrong with the Bills. The year he was taken in the second round, he was our first draft selection, having traded away the #1 for the great JP Losman. Roscoe had a few good returns but was a pretty poor receiver. He was listed at 5'9"/175 but he appeard to be even smaller. Do you remember the news story when he opened his door one day, saw snow, and ran back in the apartment? Tough times in Buffalo!
  8. McDermott has far more say in the organization than Beane. FAR more. This is not all that unusual on football teams. Pat Kirwin was GM when Pete Carroll was coach and Kirwin calls Carroll his "boss." In fact, Beane was almost certainly hired on McDermott's say so.
  9. McDermott needs to be shown the door. He fails at game management and he is even worse at team building, starting with his firsrt draft. You remember, right? The one in which he traded away the Mahomes pick to KC, was undercompensated, and then drafted a cornerback instead. Yeah, that one. He sold Pegula a bill of goods with his co-opted term "process" and Pegula ate it up and gave him WAY too much power.. What are we now? A floundering team with talent, getting spanked by inferior teams. Ya think perhaps the head coach might be a little bit to blame? Please. Btw, you seem to paint Bills Fans who are sick of McDermott's stale act as irrational. I disagree. Long time Bills fans are well able to spot disaster when we see it. Lord knows we have seen enough of it. How you can defend McDermott is really beyond my comprehension but of course, the above is jmo.
  10. Not THE greatest accomplishment imo. I view the ACC (especially looking at Clemson) as pretty weak. Then again, how many conferences improved this season?
  11. I don't disagree but would Daboll be worse than McDermott?
  12. McDermott doesn't need "counsel" from Beane, who he hired, or at least got hired. McDermott needed another scapegoat after Frazier. Now he has one on both sides of the ball. Next will probably be the special teams coach. McDermott is a flim-flam artist. A shoe salesman with a great line of s%#t. If Pegula fires him tonight he will have waited too long. It is time for Pegula to rid the Bills of McDermott and his second rate soft shoe vaudville act.
  13. Everybody's runnin' and no one makes a move Well, everybody's a winner And nothing left to lose There's a little yellow idol to the north of Katmandu Everybody's flying and no one leaves the ground Well, everybody's crying and no one makes a sound There's a place for us in movies You just gotta lay around Nobody told me there'd be days like these Nobody told me there'd be days like these Nobody told me there'd be days like these Strange days indeed Most peculiar, mama
  14. Actually, I was in agreement with you that he "runs the ship." I do think that his ship has sailed and that he should be fired.
  15. Everybody's got a thing But some don't know how to handle it Always reachin' out in vain Just takin' the things not worth having But don't you worry 'bout a thing Don't you worry 'bout a thing, mama 'Cause I'll be standin' on the side When you check it out, oh
  16. Yes. We should also get rid of the beer and hot dog vendors, and give vicious verbal warnings to the ushers, but let's keep the great McDermott!!!
  17. Yes. I am also wishing for a few more dental implants. I also want the Bills to trade up in the 1st round and draft a defensive back in the 2024 draft.
  18. Question for Bills Fans: Who do you think was the most responsible for Firing Dorsey? A) Mr. Pegula B) Beane C) McDermott I am of the very strong opinion that Mr. Pegula gave the power to McDermott to make moves like this, AND gave him final say wrt the draft. I also think that he was the one to fire Frazier. Jmo but curious as to what others think.
  19. Maybe the next time we fumble a punt, McDermott will fire the special teams coach. A sack? Perhaps he will ditch the OL coach McDermott is the main problem and has been for quite some time. PS: This is NOT to say that Dorsey deserved to stay.
  20. Not that Dorsey deserved to stay but now, he and Frazier are the scapegoats. Who's next? The real problem is McDermott, and the way he manages and constructed the team. I have said it for years, McDermott has FAR to much power in the organization, and just isn't up to the task. He needed to be fired before last night, and getting rid of him in a prompt manner would be a great step forward for our beloved franchise.
  21. I remember, the thirty-five sweet goodbyes When you put me on the Wolverine up to Annandale It was still September When your daddy was quite surprised To find you with the working girls in the county jail I was smoking with the boys upstairs when I Heard about the whole affair I said oh no William and Mary won't do Well I did not think the girl Could be so cruel And I'm never going back To my old school
  22. Saban has been using that term for decades. It is in his unauthorized biography (dated 2015) and he has been using and employing the term before he even got to Alabama. That said, you may be correct about the 76er guy. I don't know, but perhaps both of us can agree that McDermott parades around as if he invented the word "process." McDermott imo is a flim flam man. And btw, I think that the "process" seems to have worked fairly well in Alabama.
  23. Texas A&M just paid over 75 million dollars to get rid of Jimbo Fisher, who I think is more of a football guy than McDermott. Imo McDermott is primarily a self serving salesman. McDermott sold Pegula a line of s#%t with the "process" term that he co-opted from Nick Saban. Pegula bit like a fish and gave him the big majority of, if not full power in the organization. Now we are stuck with poor performance, questionable free agent signings, limited cap space, and lousy, primarily defense based drafts. It is way past time to fire McDermott. He should have already been booted out the door, or at least had much of his power taken away. At this point, he should be fired today or later this week. Sorry folks, jmo.
