Battleships confide in me and tell me where you are, Shining, flying, purple wolfhound, show me where you are, Lost in summer, morning, winter, travel very far, Lost in musing circumstances, that's just where you are Yesterday a morning came, a smile upon your face Caesar's palace, morning glory, silly human, silly human race, On a sailing ship to nowhere, leaving any place, If the summer change to winter, yours is no, Yours is no disgrace Yours is no disgrace Yours is no disgrace

The 60's Music... or Crazy Purple Things
Bill from NYC replied to BringMetheHeadofLeonLett's topic in Off the Wall
Both were excellent periods. The early 90's were great and stayed that way through much, though not all of the decade. In 89, Jerry Garcia was sober, or at least close to it. The Dead concerts in Philly, Buffalo, and the Meadowlands were superb. A case could be made that 1967-1972 changed the entire musical scene. -
We are set at WR. Maybe we’ll grab one in Round 6.

Alex Van Pelt!!! 😮🙂

Well, look where we got Jauron from!!! And for unaware posters, you knew Jauron would suck as a coach and said so almost the very second Levy signed him (Jauron was like his clone in many ways). The two of them had a special team/secondary love fest and ignored OL and QB and yes, some fans defended them.

Successful/Famous TV series that you have never watched

Curb Your Enthusiasm. I don't know; I saw it once and it sucked. Should I try again? -

Sadly, I completely agree.

You are making sense but remember when Kelly, Bruce, Thurman, and Andre were getting old at the same time? Instead of thinking about their replacements, the Bills drafted cornerbacks. It obviously didn't work and I would hate to see this happen again. Diggs isn't getting better from where I sit and certainly isn't getting younger. Also, guards are now suddenly getting the big bucks. OL depth is wonderful to have. We might never have another QB as talented as Josh. Now is the time to give him more weapons and protection. As always, jmo. -

OK.....Done, and of course they should!!! Will they? They actually might not but they completely should. -

Great suggestion! It was a smart move to pass on Mahomes and draft a cornerback. We also should not have drafted Josh Allen if there was a good safety available. Actually I'm kinda surprised this didn't happen. I sure do pine for the Levy/Jauron days. With McDermott, there is perhaps some chance that he won't take a first round safety. Is Jauron still available? 👍 -
Yes, if it happens please do. A first round DB this season would not be good for my health. That said, I will be better equipped to handle it than I was in 2006 when we drafted Donte Whitner at #8. The truth is that I never fully got over that disaster.

NCAA Considering 14 playoff in 2026

True enough, however UMass and University of Texas might not be such a big draw or great game. -

I can understand this. I would feel the same way if I didn't care about the quality of the teams. -
So I went to the corner Just to ease my pain Said, just to ease my pain I got troubles, whoa-oh I got worries, whoa-oh I came home again But I woke up this mornin' You were on my mind And, you were on my mind (Yeah) I got troubles, whoa-oh I got worries, whoa-oh I got wounds to bind

I expect it but hope that McDermott isn't THAT stupid. As for Bowers, he has a chance to be as good as Gronk. He is shockingly good and I expect him to be gone in the top 10. I would draft him in a heartbeat.

There is a greater possibility of me getting a date with Margot Robbie than Bowers being there when we pick.

I wish him well, and given his history of concussions I do hope that he doesn't do serious damage to his health by continuing to play.
