The difference between Moulds and Coleman is, nowadays you can mostly determine if a player is a bust quicker. Coleman will get more chances than he may deserve. He most likely will be a mid or lower level NFL receiver who may need a change of scenery with lowered expectations to find bis niche.

As much as it was heralded that he was a Sabres fan back in the day, and the thought was he was going to pour his heart and soul into the team was just bunk. I feel he is an NFL owner first and a NHL owner way after that.

I don’t think knRuff is the issue. I feel he is doing the best with the hand he has been dealt. We need a GM and coach combo like we have at the Bills. Change the losing “culture”.

What amazes me is how quick most NHL teams are to fire coaches and/or GM’s, and at times with better records than what we currently have. Yet…how long do we have to suffer?

A 3rd round pick will give you a guy who can be on the roster cheaply for 4 years. Wonder if the chefs weighed that against “win now” with what we have? As far as the pats, that is scary how much cap space they have. Give them a tougher schedule and they may not be as good as they are this year.

No way was Beane going to get a WR and have to walk back his comments on air on WGR and in interviews that followed. IMHO, we need defensive line help also. I didn't think we’d be able to swing two trades, unless he had some cap gymnastics in his pocket. Not entirely surprised. Ticked at the sale price for Shaheed..felt we could have done that.

Would love to add a competent WR. True need is bolster the d-line right now.

And the fact that Davis had zero rushing touches says something about what they feel about Davis currently. As far as what we should get? Defense. Need to bolster the line after losing Ed and Hoecht.

I think Cook can handle the workload. Just don’t have a lot of confidence in Davis..and I suspect he may feel the same way.

RIP. He was awesome back in the day when announcers were allowed to provide true commentary. Not the watered down, don’t tick off rhe NFL we have now. Look at what Romo has become from when he started. Would call plays before they were run, educated the fans. Now, just another mouthpiece for the league.

I don’t disagree. Although NFL player has to be ready at any moment. When he does get in the game, the word I was searching for earlier is he is timid. Just doesn’t hit the hole hard and doesn’t seem to have the punch like he did last year.

I would like a back to spell Cook for sure. TY hasn’t been great, but Davis looks so different from last year..doesn’t hit the hole right, seems slow in processing where to go and doesn’t have the punch he had last year. Personally, I’d bring Gore up for a game and see what he can do right now. Davis just doesn’t seem to have it this year. Love that they spread the ball around yesterday, makes it less urgent to need a “number 1” maybe. Hopefully our offense is finding a groove and can take some pressure off the defense.
