Fans who understand the cap understand that with one quick swoop of the pen restructuring or extending Josh opens space enough to go FA hunting or swing a trade. That and addressing Bon with a few more extensions and cuts gets you the cap space they need to make moves. Space that needs to be available before they can add to the cap. Days of “cash to cap” are thankfully gone.

Bernard is hugely important. With Milano’s recent injury history and the thought of Baylor Spectors play last year should be all that anyone needs to know how important Bernard is. Benford and Rousseau should get their due. Have felt since his public display that cook may be cooked here…could be wrong but feel he’s the odd man out as defense may be priority this offseason.

To be compliant. Need some big moves cap wise if they want to acquire big contracts via FA or trades.

Contender. Really a bogus term when it comes to these guys. Why do the phins land so many FA’s? Money, taxes and weather. Once the checkbook opens, all this “contender” talk is just that…talk. If DK was really all about winning the Patriots and Raiders wouldn’t be mentioned. Chargers would be closer, but an outlier as they haven’t proven themselves. Steelers? Without a starting QB at the moment they aren’t contenders either. If it’s Wilson or Fields again, not high on the contenders list other than having a competent HC. Money is important and he’ll land a big contract. Is winning as important as he says it is??

I wouldn’t take Sanders period. Not interested in the circus that his father will be.

Offseasons gonna be a wild ride moving forward.

Why?

I want a defense that holds the other team at the right times. Sacks aren’t everything. Defensive stops when needed are. I want an offense that has a great QB. Dangerous runner. WR’s who challenge at short yardage, slot and boundary.

And….it starts. Like Martin. Was a reliable guy, but could improve.

I want this guy. He is a beast! Pairing him with Josh would be incredible! Draft defense. Get a few 2nd tier FA defenders and LFG!!!

Dude had productive years first 6 seasons. Last 3 seasons injuries have been an issue played 5, 9 and 14 games. Had 2.5, 6.5 and 5 sacks in those seasons. Have no interest unless it was vet minimum. Feel he wasn’t ever a true impact player? Known more for having a NFL brother than his play.

Best poutine I ever had was at Fallsview Casino. They had a little diner in the back of the casino. Fries were perfect, good amount of cheese curds and the gravy was amazing! Go to bar food? Depends on the place, but usually wings or nachos.

He isn’t going anywhere this year. As far as I know, they have to report at some time to count this year against the contract. at the least Bills can use a tag. If he’s setting parameters for negotiations, it’s a pretty wide net. Especially the fact he is signaling other teams his contract demands if there were to be a trade. Bottom line. If the Bills want him, they’ll figure it out. If not? He’ll be gone.

Watching Bills Ravens Divisional. I love Cook. Ty Johnson had some great plays. Enough that helped us win. Ray Davis only had a few runs. Those runs looked really good. Vision was pretty good. Don’t see the Bills breaking the bank for Cook Feel the Bills are just fine with not paying Cook and going with a two back attack. Unless Davis takes off next season and becomes the go to. Cook has no leverage. Needs to play to toll a season. Also, the bills could tag him if they love him that much. He’s not going anywhere unless the Bills want him gone.

Man. So many memories. Will have to sit back and think about… Gonna miss the old girl!

Is Cook worth top of the market? Is he the best back in the league? I would have to say he’s not the best, but one of the better backs in the league. The real question is how much do the Bills value his production in relation to contract demands, versus Davis/Gore and Ty (if he is resigned) production in relation to their contract dollars? I agree there are other players that will need to be signed over the next few years. Certainly don’t want to jeopardize signing other guys by paying too much for a position that historically has not commanded top dollars.
