  1. Josh doesn’t throw the ball on the turf to Samuel and that’s a long pass.
  2. Sal on WGR just said the same thing, more or less. Said he can’t talk about behind the scenes, but the Bills put pics on social media of him on the plane.
  3. Home. Suburb of Buffalo. Watching with my son who is my season ticket mate. And my wife. Prefer small groups when watching the games at home. Used to do game day bangers, tons of people. Too much! Need to focus!
  4. Current favorite is 100 Grand bar. Snickers is a go to for sure. Throwback? Whatchamacallit. I guess it’s still made, have not seen it in years.
  5. From the OP’s post to all the others, this thread has me pumped! Gonna be a LONG day before kickoff! LFG!!
  6. Beane will definitely be judicious in how he spends.
  7. Ok. Still gotta sign sign him though. Love his attitude!!
  8. Not sure what the song means… Juat a little weird when the whole stadium sings “He takes of her dress now”….🤣 Regardless, love the energy it brings to games and when the whole stadium sings, it is amazing!!
  9. Yeah, caught that video. Running and throwing the ball looking good! 3 years and option to me is to get the organization on track. May even have a guy on his new staff that is the heir apparent. Has happened before.
  10. Listening to WGR and they made a great point. New Orleans is not an ideal situation for first time coach. Incumbent QB is good, not great and has been injured a bit last two seasons. Cap issues that can strangle the teams ability to keep players and/or get quality Free Agents. Hopefully he takes a flier this year and gets better opportunities next year(see Bobby Slowik).
  11. Exactly. I see a veteran QB being picked up. Darnold would be the guy. Not a lot to choose from this offseason - Flacco, Trey Lance, Zach Wilson, Brissett, Mac Jones, etc. He doesn’t have the time to draft a QB and let him mature. Although, could draft a guy and let him learn. I do see him as a culture changer for sure. His ex-players love him.
  12. Originally I said “late firing”. Probably wasn’t, just lost last weekend. Feels like an eternity!! Maybe some stuff came up after the last game. Find it hard to believe if there was internal strife DeMeco wasn’t aware of it. Then again, maybe that’s their problem in general, lack of communication and Slowik was though to be at the heart of it.
  13. Strange. Something is up. Do DeMeco and him have bad blood? Stroud power play? Late firing for sure. Is he in the running for one of the new OC jobs and they decided to part ways and let him take a lateral move? Heck of a fall from grace. Especially this year wasn’t all his fault with injuries.
  14. Kinda figured once they sent Baalke packing, something was up. Too much made about what Coen said and that Khan basically said if a coaching candidate wants him gone, we will have entertain it. Apparently Coen went radio silence on the Bucs organization and swung the deal without them knowing he was a candidate again. Reportd by Florio, so who knows.
  15. We got out of cap hell with the purge to get to a place we could function daily. Last year (or two) Beane has had an issue with end of season moves because of restricted cap. Biggest problem? Upcoming free agents. Per Sportrac next season should be decent on FA’s - Rasul, Ty Johnson, Alex Anderson. Also Smoot and Hollins (both shouldn’t break the bank). Few others that would be year to year or find someone else. 2026 is going to be a tough year as Epenesa, Rousseau, Cook, Bernard, Shakir, Benford are all due. Epenesa could be gone. Rousseau will be big bucks. Bernard will be huge money. Shakir and Benford will most likely be big bucks also. Cook may be expendable if we keep Ty with Davis and Gore getting more carries. 2026 isn’t doom and gloom. Cap purge was a way to deal with it. Cap will go up next few years, and Beane can structure 2026 contracts to kick the can so to speak. Another Problem? Josh’s contract will most likely need to be dealt with for cap relief and larger numbers. Although not sure how you do both? That being said, Beane will be judicious about giving contracts to league free agents. Khalil Mack is a good player but will he want to give him a large contract at the expense of keeping his own? Especially a guy at the end of his career with the possibility of production drop off? Personally, I don’t think he would.
  16. So the back story here would be the Bills sign him in free agency before the start of next season? 🤣🤣 If he signed for vet minimum and Von retires, I’d consider it. Have too many upcoming FA’s on this team that need to be addressed.
  17. No thanks. Maybe a few years ago, but don’t want to spend the money on him he is most likely looking for. Great player, outstanding career. Great back story as a UB Alum. Not for me at this point of his career.
