They are in cap jail. Can’t have the depth needed to win in this league if you don’t have the money to pay. We are projected to have the 3rd best cap space in 2019 behind the Colts and Jets. Odds are we’ll end up overpaying for FA’s next year, but have the space to do it for a few. Couple that with another good draft, and maybe we have the talent to move forward. Now, if our coaching could step up....

If you can get a talented, proven guy at a high profile position, why not pay up? 2 first rounders for Mack was a steal for the Bears. I’d rather cough up a 2nd, but would be happy to give a 1st if that’s what gets Carr. Thing is, we have Allen. Unless he is out for the year, no way these guys pull the trigger and essentially concede Allen isn’t ready.

We are getting killed by a 1-5 team. We were not prepared for this game. Needed a solid defensive effort, although they are not to blame as the offense gave them no help. Daboll needed to have a run heavy game plan with a basic passing offense. Never should have relied on Anderson to win this one.

Trying to give the coaching staff a break. Starter out, given a crusty vet to replace him. I don’t know how McD survives the season if this keeps up.

The trade of McCarron was a waste. Wasn’t a stud, but not worth the pick and putting our QB depth on Peterman.

I would love 2 more seasons, but the talk from the producers has been they don’t see this going further than how many seasons of BB there was. That would be 5 seasons. Although if memory serves BB’s final season was stretched over a longer period, and was 16 episodes. I just don’t see how they can bridge 4 years or so to BB, and wrap BCS in just 10 episodes. Either more than one season, or they extend the number of episodes. Thing is, if there is a spin-off planned (maybe Gus?) they’d probably want to get moving before the actors age too much more. Been quite a few years since BB came out.
