I think it’s hard to assimilate a WR in middle of season no matter how good he is. A premier RB like Barkley probably costs less draft capital and provides more immediate impact.

I’d actually like to see Knox as an H-back more. He’s good at blitz pickup and his strength is more run after catch. Kind of how Jusczyk is used by 49ers. They need to give up on him being a traditional tight end.

Hard to compare WR’s on different teams and offenses. I think at least 50% of those number 2’s would be more dynamic and dependable than Davis with Josh throwing to them and Diggs commanding the defense’s attention. And part of the problem with Davis is Knox. You can’t have 2 of your top 3-4 pass catchers who kill drives with drops. Maybe the answer is Kincaid starts becoming that guy opposite Diggs. Davis and Knox don’t scare defenses.

Agreed with original post. Every week is a challenge in NFL no matter who you’re playing. Contrast Josh’s interview to Mahomes after he wins at least 5 ugly games like this every year. Get the dub and figure stuff out. They count the same whether you win by 30 or with help from the refs.

Offense needs somebody other than Josh and Diggs to rely on. Doesn’t seem like that guy is currently on the roster unless Kincaid grows up in a hurry. Knox rarely shows up and Davis has too many games like today. Not sure who’s available, but we need another guy that defenses actually have to worry about whether that’s a RB or pass catcher.

Seems like teams are taking away big plays with 2 high safeties. I think we need an upper tier RB and pound teams until they have to bring their safeties up. Cook ain’t bad but he’s not that dude. We need a younger more explosive Latavius Murray.

You’re going nowhere with Davis and Knox as your #2 and #3 pass options. Knox is grossly overpaid.

These thursday games need to go away. 4 days is not enough recovery time for the players or enough time for coaches to gameplan to put a good product on the field.

The NFL schedule is an unbalanced mess. Unequal amount of home games, Thursday games creating large discrepancies in rest days, London games, not to mention the huge disparities in strength of schedule. Pro athletes are creatures of habit. When you’re playing at different times with different number of rest days almost every week, it’s gotta take a toll. I don’t think it’s coincidence that our injuries have sky-rocketed since we’ve become prime time darlings and majority of our games aren’t on sunday afternoons anymore.

Not a great throw, but 75% of DB’s get a Pass Interference there. Dude got beat, recovered and made a crazy athletic play catching that ball.

guess we have different definition of winning ugly. Miami home regular season game last year only game I can remember in last couple years where we got outplayed for majority of game and pulled it out at the end. Getting ahead early then getting bored and having to hang on at the end is to me more loss of focus for 60 minutes than winning ugly. Im expecting Jags to come out and punch us in mouth and this being a game where Bills are gonna have to find a way to keep it close and pull it out at end. Not a gambler, but Bills giving 5.5 points seems like way too much.

Howell has guts but dude has to get rid of the ball faster especially with a sub par offensive line.
