  1. I think this is a good guess. League is de-valuing DT's who don't get sacks. McDermott knows him better than anyone except his old team. His old team has other DT's they value higher. I don't think he's getting more than that.
  2. If we bring Kyle back, I'd be OK with bringing Suh in. He doesn't get in trouble off the field. Maybe playing next to a guy like Kyle would reign in the dirty/selfish plays.
  3. I don't think we have to worry about Giants trading with Jets. I think Giants want Barkley. If Bills trade up to 3, it forces Cleveland to take a QB at 1 because Bills would still have enough draft picks to outbid Cleveland for Giants pick at 2.
  4. All these teams going after Cousins. McBeane should be able to get a McCarron/Keenum/Bradford on a bargain deal that doesn't preclude us from trading up. One of them will bite on a bridge deal instead of waiting on the Cousins sweepstakes to shake out.
  5. What are the odds he actually makes this trip? My guess is 25%. Puts pressure on Keenum and Bradford.
  6. If Keenum were smart, he'd sign with a team immediately. Not enough chairs for all these free agent QB's.
  7. Bradford on a 1 year $8m deal with incentives, or Keenum in a 2 year deal similar to Tyrods last year. First one to sign.
  8. Sure. Why the hell not? While we're at it, I'd call up Carolina and Indy and tell them we got a lot of draft picks burning a hole in our pocket if they want to talk about Cam or Luck.
  9. It wouldn't be controversial to take his name down anymore. Black community realizes OJ used them to get away with murder. This newly released interview could be impetus to do it.
  10. Maybe Bills aren't that high into any one of them in particular to give up three 1st rounders but would be happy with any of the top 3 or 4, and they'd rather go with Foles and whoever falls past the Jets.
  11. Even though Foles costs you some draft picks, he's an upgrade over Tyrod and probably saves you draft capital on a trade-up since Bills don't have to be as desperate with Foles in the mix. Maybe the guy you want falls past the Jets and instead of spending 3 1sts, you only have to spend 2.
  12. In any other year I'd agree with you, but with Cleveland now out of free agent QB market and assuming Cousins goes to Minnesota, you're left with Bills, Arizona, Denver, and Jets in market for a vet QB. McCown is going to Jets or maybe Bills as a Bridge QB. Denver and Arizona are the only teams who might give a big contract to McCarron or Keenum and if one them goes the Foles route, McCarron or Keenum will be lucky to get a $10m per year deal. Total buyers market for free agent QB's. Never remember a year like this.
  13. McCown is gonna be in high demand. He's the perfect Bridge QB. He can probably give you another year of top 15 QB play and won't get more than a 1 year deal.
  14. What makes you think they wouldn't trade up? McBeane has publicly stated how much better the team needs to get despite making it to the playoffs. If they were happy with treading water and mediocrity, they would've kept Tyrod.
  15. I'm fine with a 2nd rounder for Foles. Free agents like McCarron won't come here since it's pretty obvious Bills are going after a 1st round QB. Not gonna be able to get a free agent as good as Foles on 1 year deal. I can't believe McBeane would've traded Tyrod without a Foles deal in place or a deal in place to get up to the top 2 or 3 to get Rosen, Darnold, or Mayfield.
  16. Cleveland is the perfect spot for him. He will always be remembered for ending the drought. His time in Buffalo made him a rich man, and he ended 17 years of misery. Worked out for both sides and now it's time to move on.
  17. Indy supposedly has eyes for Chubb. If they trade past pick 4, he's probably gone. If we get to pick #4, I think we'll get at worst the #2 QB on our board.
  18. I think there's a lot of smoke here. It's not like Ivory was a cheap deal for a backup RB. The urgency for these signings before free agency hints at Bills not using all 5 of their top 100 picks and a goal of accumulating some comp picks next year. Let's not forget the Bills traded up for Jones and Dawkins last year.
  19. As absurd as the original post initially sounded, everything should be on table to get a franchise QB. Dawkins right now in my opinion is worth somewhere around the 10th-15th overall pick. Tredavious is worth around the 6th--9th overall pick. Would you trade Tredavious straight up for Mayfield? Or Dawkins plus pick 21 for Rosen?
  20. Loved him coming out of UCLA. Lots of injuries though and drug suspension last year. His father also killed 3 people according to the google machine. Guess we gotta bring 90 guys to training camp.
  21. A quality left tackle with 3 years left on his rookie deal is worth a high 1st round pick. Maybe not #2 overall, but if Giants asked for Dawkins I wouldn't give up more than a 2nd round pick and Dawkins for #2. And I'd have to be pretty damn sure Glenn is gonna get healthy.
  22. I actually thought that was a smart winning play. Refs fault for not blowing the whistle when he had un-impeded path. If he stopped, he would've given Carpenter a free attempt.
  23. If you're gonna give up a 2nd and possibly more for Foles on a 1 year deal, might as well go all in and trade up for a Rosen, Darnold, or Mayfield.
  24. That's a lot of money for McCoy's backup.
