Mike Gillislee in danger of not making Patriots roster
BuffaloRebound replied to CNY315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bellichik is the ultimate AFC East troll. I think he pays guys in the division more than theyre worth just so he doesn’t have to play them twice a year. If it works out in New England, that’s a bonus. -
Seems like Beane made sure he was the only team the Giants and Browns would’ve traded down with and then honed in on the Broncos knowing one of his top 3 QB’s was gonna be there at 5 if Beane wasn’t doing a deal with Giants or Browns. With the Jets trading to 3 almost 2 months before the draft, seems like Bills and Jets both viewed this draft as having 3 top QB’s. Rosen really must’ve rubbed teams the wrong way.

Ralph was never going to leave. He just used the threat to get WNY businesses and individuals to open their wallets. Brandon should've been selling used cars instead of running an NFL team. The Terrell Owens experiment hand his fingerprints all over it and basically sums up his tenure running the Bills.

I thought I read on here that Allen is already terrible.

Possibilities to add more weapons...

Gotta get Allen some help. Look at the difference in Goff last year when he was given good coaching and more weapons. -
RD1, Pick 7: Josh Allen QB - Wyoming
BuffaloRebound replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have no idea if Allen was the right pick, but Beane and McDermott know a lot more about football than I ever will. They broke a 17 year playoff drought in their 1st year in Buffalo. I don’t consider myself a mindless sheep, but they certainly deserve the benefit of the doubt more than any previous Bills regime this century. -
Tremaine Edmunds Scouting Report
BuffaloRebound replied to bills.avfc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He’s basically the LB version of Clowney and we got him at 16. -
Agreed. In what world would a coaching staff on its last legs be banging the table for a guy who has to sit a year like Allen? I actually think Darnold is more ready to play than Allen but needs to sit also. This is why you don’t give up the farm for pick 3 two months before the draft. Mayfield and Rosen could both be gone by 3.

HERE WE GO! GIANTS looking to TRADE DOWN
BuffaloRebound replied to KDIGGZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Giants were always trading down. Bet they’re still holding out hope Denver wants to trade up before they drop down to 12. -
Browns Take Mayfield at #1
BuffaloRebound replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Unless they have a trade in place for Eli or he’s in on the con job and announces his retirement after the draft, there’s no way in hell they are taking a QB at 2. He is too beloved by the fan base to do something like that to him, even if it’s the smart long term thing to do. -

Giants aren’t taking a QB at 2. I think top 2 QB’s on Bills draft board are Rosen and Mayfield. I don’t think Darnold and Allen are ready to play this year. Getting rid of a Tyrod and signing McCarron points to Bills going after a QB who can play immediately. -
Jackson under 17.5 is the best bet.

Report: Bills Unlikely to Trade Up to No. 2 - Rapoport
BuffaloRebound replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just can’t see Bills trading up to 2 for anyone besides Darnold and I’m not even sure Darnold is worth what it will take to get up there. I’m fine with Beane waiting it out for Rosen or Allen. -

Not indifferent, but I’m not trading three 1st rounders plus more for Darnold when I can get Rosen, Mayfield or Allen for pick 12 and pick 53. Or even stay put and get Jackson at 12. We are getting one of those 5. None of those guys is can’t miss and people a lot smarter than me who do this for a living can’t come to any consensus. -

Why would Beane trade the farm for a QB the Giants don’t want at 2? Really seems the top 4 or even top 5 QB’s are all crapshoots. Beane still needs to come out of the draft with one of the top 4/5, so my guess is picks 7 and 8 are where the action should be for Beane. Most likely only have to give up one of our 2nd rounders to move up a couple spots. -
I wouldn’t trust Elway at all. He could easily be playing Beane so Bills don’t jump ahead of them. Denver needs a franchise QB and I can’t see them helping us get one. If I’m Beane, I pull my offer for pick 5 Wednesday night if there is an outstanding offer. 6 and 2 are more likely trade-up possibilities than 5.

Giants are trying the shake the Broncos and Browns down the way the Colts shook down the Jets. Move back a couple of spots and still get a boatload of picks. Once that is exhausted, then they’ll entertain Beane’s offer.
