  1. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/e2-80-98lock-up-the-bidens-e2-80-99-trump-says-at-georgia-campaign-rally/ar-BB1a75L6 This is the stuff of banana republic dictators. It's what happens when we accommodate extremism. It has to end. There is no space for the unjustified incarceration of a political rival in any corner of this democracy. There is no space for the leader of this country to suggest such incarceration. And there should be no space for anyone to support that behavior, be it overtly, covertly, directly, or indirectly. This will be my last post here for awhile. It's come to my attention that my bluntness and honesty has hurt the feelings of some very tender Trump supporters here, and in doing so I may have hurt this website. I couldn't care less about the former issue; it's ironic and pathetic that a bunch of people who support misogyny, xenophobia, dog-whistle racism, and the unjustified incarceration of political opponents, and who lack the empathy to wear a mask to protect their neighbors during a pandemic, have complained about and are so damaged by the expression of truth. The latter issue, however, matters. I don't want to hurt this business, and I don't want to imperil this website. I've also wasted too much time here, amusing as it may be. So, I'll stand back and stand by for awhile. Hoax. I'm not a scumbag who supports the Proud Boys. But I will go away for awhile. That's the truth. Best of luck, and choose wisely in October/November. The fate of our democracy depends on it. Go Bills. I will see you all in happier times.
  2. Yes. Great idea!
  3. Apparently this fool has never heard of the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. One more reason he should not come back to Buffalo.
  4. Whataboutism. Nice. Barr is a threat to democracy, and you haven’t denied it.
  5. Amen. Apparently others share my views of this issue.
  6. Totally accurate and reconcilable with TFR’s point. I thought basically the same thing when I read your prior post.
  7. I’ll substitute “convicted” for “charged” and agree.
  8. ugh on the Grover Cleveland scenario. But plausible. I’d have to imagine that the party would do everything it could to avoid a mess like that. But it’s a valid point and it makes me wonder whether they’ll try to clear the room and coalesce around a candidate sooner than later to suck the air out of Trump.
  9. I think they’re nutty, too. But they “can” do that. My point was that what’s feasible for one might not be feasible for another.
  10. What do you mean by “moved far away from any contact?” If you’re suggesting that this guy should have moved into the woods, it seems a bit absurd, does it not? Maybe he’s doing the best he “can” — his word — in a lousy situation and his circumstances don’t allow for an extreme measure such as perfect and complete isolation.
  11. Great news. I was hoping that Bon Jovi would never return to Western New York.
  12. Maybe you’re right on Rubio. But I am hearing otherwise from DC circles. Personally I think he’s a bit of a lightweight, but I guess that’s for donors and party people to decide.
  13. Good post. Marco Rubio might be their guy. Swing state, Hispanic, relatively smart. But very timely discussion given Sasse’s departure from Trumpworld yesterday. Others soon will follow because this thing is in the bag for Biden and Trumpism is on its way out. Nobody with a future will want to carry the stink of Trump on November 4.
  14. Try as I might I can’t make the least bit of sense of this. This certainly changes my view on Mr. McMurray. I didn’t realize that the Don was partying on the island with a 15:1 ration of minor females to him. That is disgusting. And maybe Mr. McMurray is right. Perhaps this should be investigated. QAnon is against pedophilia, so surely it should welcome this inquiry.
  15. He might have had a shot depending on the national climate. A marginal shot, but he might have been in play if everything fell his way. But this is just ridiculous. I dislike Trump as much as the next guy, but to accuse someone of child trafficking is just wrong. It's exactly the type of behavior we need to weed out of politics and society at large. I'm disgusted by it.
  16. I don't know. But this comment is nuts, and exactly the type of stuff that we need to take out of politics and society: https://buffalonews.com/news/local/government-and-politics/nygop-calls-mcmurray-unhinged-for-suggesting-trump-is-child-trafficker/article_5144f2bc-0f19-11eb-9e48-97fdfd591d46.html#tracking-source=home-trending Discuss.
  17. I’m not sure what you’re talking about. Perhaps, and this is just a guess, his own behavior did him in.
  18. But therein lies the problem. Disagree with the dozen or so people who practice far right politics? Be characterized as a purveyor if hate speech. It’s outrageous. The core issue here is that this place probably was a right wing echo chamber that eventually devolved into QAnon culture. Dissenting voices are not tolerated. If the goal is to be a message board form of OAN and an outlet for Q culture, go for it. But it would be better if it was a place where truth and variety of opinion is preferred.
  19. Can you identify this “hate speech?”
  20. Bakari also repped Tyrod, and we treated him well. I suspect Overdorf has a good relationship with him.
  21. Maybe he can throw like $10k or $20k at “Deranged Rhino” to work a Utah Jazz message board to convince Internet randos to vote for him. That was your theory with this place. A good spot to work McKean and Potter Counties in PA for Trump, you believe. And we wonder why you fall for the Trump hoaxes!
  22. This is why you’re on the Nasty Woman list. I’m sorry you’re so angry. I hope you aren’t triggered. Have a nice day!
  23. I didn’t realize that Mitt “gave some chick cancer.” Did he have a windmill farm?
