  1. I have no idea if he was in the right lane or not, all I know is that Phillip Rivers is a damn good veteran QB and he exploited the blitz as well as I have seen all year. Just a tough matchup that we thankfully survived.
  2. I noticed during the game that we were in the right Defense, and in position to make plays, but either missed tackles or just missed perfectly thrown passes that were in a spot that only the receiver could reach.
  3. Yeah, praying to face the Steelers feels like one of those "be careful what you wish for" scenarios. I think this team has the ability to beat any of these teams, regardless of who gets through, but the Steelers have a ton of playoff experience, and will be a completely different team in January than they were last month. I still think we can beat them, mostly because of Old Ben showing his age and a bad running game, but they have a great Defense and we can't count on this receivers continuing to drop balls that hit them in their hands.
  4. Rivers seemed able to exploit the blitz at will in this game, especially on 3rd down. Our Defense definitely had that bend but don’t break feel to it yesterday. I am happy that we lived to fight another day, and I am confident Frazier and McDermott will make the necessary adjustments for next week.
  5. Good point honestly. I hadn’t really thought of it that way. Klein appeared to be one hell of a good pass rusher when used properly.
  6. Georgia Southern - 1 UGA - 0
  7. Yup. Tip of the cap to them. They gave us everything they had.
  8. Those 2 catches were things of beauty.
  9. Had an INT go right through his hands in the 1st quarter. I am sure he wishes he had that one back. It would have been an early momentum changer.
  10. I’ll add Daryl Williams for that possible game saving fumble recovery.
  11. This. Make no mistake, the Colts are good and they all wanted this a bit extra for Rivers. They executed at a high level in all 3 phases.
  12. Once a Bill always a Bill. For @Nick the Greek who is confused; the OP said “Reich did us some favors today” and I responded “once a Bill, always a Bill” jokingly implying Frank Reich did it out of loyalty to his former franchise. Did you know he used to play for us?
  13. I think they’ll want power running to compliment what Singletary does.
  14. I know we have a tiny sample size, but I hope we see Williams.
  15. Well, our Offense will win this game. I don’t believe they can out score us. But run Defense will make it easier. By the way, all this talk about how great the Colts running game has been lately, but their last 7 opponents were the Lions, Bengals, Browns, Bears, Jets, Vikings and Jags. I ain’t scared.
  16. This. I have come to accept that this team is good enough to overcome my superstitions. It makes the games so much more relaxing.
  17. My biggest fear in this game is once we take a 35 point lead. That is when Frank Reich shines.
  18. Hilarious. They know this fan base well.
  19. I loved what I saw from him and look forward to seeing how he develops next season, but at this point I say we should stick with what got us here. But great to know he is there if someone else gets dinged up. This roster is SO deep compared to the past 20 years or so. What a great feeling!
  20. Josh would be great for the younger fans, but I am guessing it will be Aaron Rodgers.
  21. I live n Atlanta, but I went here a couple of years ago, the day after seeing Billy Joel in Winston Salem. My son and I met up with some of my buddies that I used to run around with in Buffalo, who live in Charlotte now. Great bar, we had a blast. That was such a fun weekend!
  22. East Resources Acquisition Company Stadium just flows right off the tongue, doesn't it? I am hoping for Bocce's Pizza Stadium or Northtown Automotive Stadium, personally.
  23. I said 20%, only because there is always a chance. They have already made so many stupid decisions lately, so why not one more. I will throw a crazy option out there and say he goes to the Panthers. I am not sure how sold they are on Bridgewater, and he is loved in that area. Of course the Panthers would have to give up multiple first round picks and more to get him.
