  1. Rams Defense is going to be scary good this season.
  2. There should hopefully be a couple of decent WR options in rounds 2-4 next year. That being said, this unit could get better if they start actually catching the ball. I am hoping that several weeks of practicing with Josh Allen will get them used to the way his ball comes in and we start seeing improvement there. Additionally, they did not get much separation on Sunday but hopefully that can be fixed or at least masked with play calling and QB anticipation. Not gonna be a great year for our WR's but hopefully better than what we've seen so far.
  3. I agree regarding Star from what I saw watching once. I hope it really is fixable, but time will tell.
  4. That TD was old school Raiders football
  5. Did he play with Lotulelei in college?
  6. Kind of looking forward to seeing him play in person in a few weeks, is it bad I’m hoping he’s ok?
  7. To me, when he shows good mobility in the pocket, the ability to keep his eyes downfield and go through his progressions and make a somewhat accurate throw, I am happy. If it happens to bounce off the receivers chest or slip through his hands, that’s on the WR not the QB. We will be able to tell if he is progressing, in spite of the lack of talent around him. i also believe a franchise QB elevates the play of the team around them, so hopefully we see some of that too.
  8. Allen wasn’t a starter today so doesn’t count. Otherwise a good list. I would add Zay Jones and Hauschka.
  9. I honestly meant to type 2-3 years. I believe that is realistic. Start stocking up next year, build up experience the following year and then in year 3, begin to fill the void left by the end of the Pats* dynasty.
  10. None of this bothers me as long as Allen plays this year and shows signs of being a real honest to goodness franchise QB. If that happens, I am confident we will continue to improve and be comepetetive in the next 3-4 years. If Allen doesn’t play or does not flash the ability I believe he has... we are in trouble...
  11. Watching it live I was pretty sure the guy grabbed Dawkins by the throat. Have not gone back to review yet.
  12. I would stay away during the week and be more procuctive at my job.
  13. Did Allen steal Judon’s girlfriend or something?
  14. Damn Vontae Davis is a big surprise and I really wish Teller would hurry up and win the starting job.
  15. Agreed. Daboll seems to have it in his playbook, which is a good sign.
  16. Bold statement there. It is HIGHLY unlikely that Tyrod remains the starting QB the entire season and even more unlikely that the Browns have a winning season. I know the Browns are getting a ton of hype right now but I’d be surprised if they got 8 or 9 wins, which would be considered a winning season.
  17. For as bad as our line looked in pass protection, they seemed very strong at run blocking. This will be an area of strength this season.
  18. You can’t argue tha they bring different skill sets and therefore might have the be defended differently. Of course, I guess that is true of most QB tandems. I guess I’m just trying to find a way to get Allen on the field.
  19. Lol. Jackson’s agent/mother said he is a QB. That being said, there WAS a video going around of Josh Allen making a great one handed catch...
  20. I echo what everyone else said. Great stuff and thanks for putting in the effort! I got 8-8 and that is with beating the Patriots* once.
  21. I get that. I honestly think Allen is more athletic and mobile than he is being given credit for, but as someone said earlier, he is mobile compared to other QB's, Jackson is mobile compared to other football players. That makes sense. Lol, I intentionally avoided using the term "package" when talking about special plays for him, just to stay out of that rat hole. ?
  22. To those of you who have used the "confused" reaction to my post without comment, why is this confusing to you? I would not be surprised if the coaches tried to find a way to get their future franchise QB on the field somehow, even if he is not starting. I don't think this will necessarily happen, especially after hearing "No Place To Hyde's" logical explanation on why it wouldn't make sense, but I don't think it is outside the realm of possibility either.
  23. I strongly disagree with. My guess is middle of the pack, with 7 or 8 wins. I think WAY too many people are putting too much emphasis on the pre-season this year. There is A LOT of talent on this Defense and we are better coached than we have been in years. There is obviously a big wildcard based on QB play this season, but I think Peterman will be serviceable and Allen will be well above average when he is ready. There will quite likely plenty of ups and downs this season, but nothing close to 0-16 in my opinion.
  24. Good thing he got rid of that offset language. ?
