I say no, because they came within a play or 2 of winning a play-off game against a pretty good team on the road. What I DO believe is that they are probably a year or so ahead of schedule and played better than they were expected to in enough games to make it back to the play-offs. They will be very real competitors in the AFC for the next few seasons, as Beane gets the roster where he wants it. So not "paper tigers" they just exceeded expectations.
I don't have a percentage, but what you said seems reasonable. I love the fact that he improved at all, in a year that many QB's regress. Headed in the right direction!
He waited a bit too long to try using this leverage. He is a middle of the pack QB now and not worth the big contract he could have demanded a few years ago. He may get $20 million for another season or 2, but there is no 3 year, $100 million type deal coming anymore.
It would appear that Mike in Horseheads is saying that the Jills also felt that they were being unfairly exploited by the Bills and sued to get their fair share, and are now gone forever, which makes him believe Marc will be gone next. (That’s the best I’ve got)
No, but supposedly, if someone signs him, he will he added to the exemption list, pending the completion of his investigation.
This is could be the Saints way of keeping him away from the Patriots* just in case they face them in the Super Bowl.
Just messin with you. I agree. We could field an all-star team with the top 22 players in the league and there are those here who would still find things to b*tch about. That is the blessing and curse of having such a devoted fan base.
For the record, I am sitting here flipping you off for even asking this question. It haunts me enough without seeing new threads pop up about it. Opposing teams troll us with “wide right” I don’t need to read about it here too.
