Mack Hollins in the Locker Room
buffaloboyinATL replied to Rocky Landing's topic in The Stadium Wall
You go ahead and keep believing that. Samuel has an elite skill set, and will thrive in this offense. Shakir has continued to improve in his short career and I believe he will take another step forward this season. If you think Coleman is “just a guy”, I question your ability to judge receivers. add in Kincaid, Hollins MVS etc, and you have a better WR group than last year. ps, I have stats to back up the “Samuel has elite skills” comment, if you don’t believe me. I have posted them here previously. -
And then they see New York, or Chicago, or LA. There is always a bigger pond…

Jets tried to hire a new OC
buffaloboyinATL replied to Captain Hindsight's topic in The Stadium Wall
Crazy that they have 6 primetime games. Of course, I believe they are all in the first 11 weeks, just in case. -
What Bills road trips are you doing this year?
buffaloboyinATL replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
My current debates are Detroit, LA, or Houston. -
Would you deal? Treylon Burks for Kaiir Elam
buffaloboyinATL replied to Kaenon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am happy with our WR room the way it is, and I believe Elam still has a lot of upside, so I voted no. -
more than I expected, unless it is highly incentive laden.

Bills sign Chase Claypool, Smoot, Jones
buffaloboyinATL replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed, unless he really shows something in camp. PS maybe? -

Lotta pop in those hands, and great bend. Love what I see so far. -
Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State

I love the imagery! Even though it gave me flash backs to that damn catch by Justin Jefferson. (not that I'm comparing the 2) -
Deion Jones signed to 1-year deal per Schefter

sounds like maybe he was hurt, or coming back from an injury? -
Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
buffaloboyinATL replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed, mostly because he was mis-used, (in my opinion) and has only played with mediocre QB's thus far in his career. That being said, Next Gen Stats (@nextgenstats on TwitterX), and Cover1 support the case that his physical capabilities are still there. 1. According to NextGen, Samuel averaged 9.08 mph within the first second of his routes in 2023. They call it "burst" He was the 3rd quickest in the NFL for receivers with at least 300 routes. Bills ranked 29th in the league in that category last year, at 7.95 mph. (Gabe was 8.25 mph and Stef was 7.73) 2. Cover1 posted that Samuel was tied for 13th last season in average separation with 3.3 yards. Those are elite numbers. Now Josh just needs to get him the ball, and he could have a great season. That burst will keep teams honest. I am honestly starting to get excited. There is a lot of talent on this Offense! -
Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
buffaloboyinATL replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was more effective with it in Carolina, (with Brady) than he was in Washington. -

Samuel can stretch the field. -
Beane talking with McAfee (re: Draft Trade)
buffaloboyinATL replied to NORWOODS FOOT's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane handled him well. At one point he chastised McAfee for continuing to bust his balls about letting some of his “favorite players” go. He also had a funny story about Josh doing a bunch of mock drafts and calling Beane to tell him the results. -
Interesting. Thanks for doing all that research Boyst. That’s a lot of comp picks.

Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
buffaloboyinATL replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Davonte Adams ran a 4.56 and was drafted with the 53rd pick. The list goes on and on. All these fools judging Coleman strictly by “draft season” instead of the person and the football player that he is, are really annoying. “my mock draft said he was the 10th best receiver! Oh no, we are doomed!” Lol. -
Rd 5, Pick 141: C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger
buffaloboyinATL replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall
From my buddy that is a die hard UGA fan. (And slowly becoming a Bills fan): “Sedrick Van Pran. 1st team All-SEC. 2nd team AP All American. Remington Award finalist. Voted top OL in the SEC. UGA team Captain and 2 time National Champion. High character, team leader. Steal at the top of the 5th round . Go Bills!” “I can’t believe he was still on the board. I was thinking 2-3 round. He will be a 10 year starter... if you need a center” <I said, we definitely need a center> “He’s your man then. I heard the reason he dropped was that he is a center only and doesn’t play guard.” -
Rd 4, Pick 128: RB Ray Davis, Kentucky
buffaloboyinATL replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall
I heard a lot of good things about him during the draft process. The common theme was that whoever got him would be getting a very good football player. Another weapon for Josh. -
Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
buffaloboyinATL replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am honestly surprised by all of the negative comments here. I watched several FSU games last year and was really impressed with Coleman. I am excited he is here and can’t wait to see him on he field. Lots of receivers with “bad 40 times”, have successful NFL careers. -
To me, that is not necessarily an indicator of success for WR’s. A big part of why many of the top receivers don’t sign a second contract, is because they are very successful and become too expensive for the team that drafted them to retain them. All the more reason to get a top WR in the first round, to have that extra year on their rookie deal.

Who should the Bills draft at #19 (Trade)? - TSW Mock Draft 3.0
buffaloboyinATL replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I kind of feel like Worthy is more likely to drop down to 28 than Thomas is, or, as Gunner said, move up into the 24-27 range to make sure you secure him. (which fits Beane's M.O.)
