I’m starting to think those two might not be good for each other,

His numbers have gotten better every year. Last year, they were murdering teams so he didn’t get to stat pad like other qbs. This year with a first time OC (we just fired one of those), there has been an adjustment period. Now he is showing he is able to come back against the best teams. again, Heisman trophy finalist; mostly likely at worst back to back mvp finalist; 400 yards in the SB. Yeah, he is like Tyrod as Alex Smith is to Brady.

That’s how bad the refs are. They can’t even cheat good enough to make the Cowboys win. also, when did the Cowboys become Americans Team? They have been Bengals in the last 30 years.

I hate the complaining about the refs because most of the time, there are a million plays that the ref didn’t affect. But man, how does the league think this what fans want? Like some fans is going to cry about some random hold away from the play?

I’m the same way. I’m not head over hills about McDermott but to act he had this Josh Allen or Poyer/ Hyde were these players before they got here is wrong. Happiness is a product of your expectations. And we have been really spoiled for the last few years.

It’s definitely not going to be a popular post but appreciate the effort. We have some straight up groupie who get upset if you don’t say Allen is the greatest qb ever and is perfect in every way. I think everyone knows how amazing Allen’s ceiling is. Dak gets the pros and cons of being in the Cowboys. A very mediocre team that gets force down our throats in the media but he is a top 10 qb and has overcome a lot to get there. He’s actually a great success story. that said, I am going to bet a lot of money on us beating this fraud team. And then I’m going to spend all offense thinking about that dork Mac Jones griddying on us. 😞

I think he carried Tarvais Jackson to the playoffs. He was amazing. honestly, I’d love to see them give it to a non qb. The award is so boring when it’s just qbs. I’d argue TJ Watt is the main reason Pittsburgh is in the playoffs with the awful offense. Do you still think the way that got away in 5th grade? Of course it’s about the end result. Jauron went to Yale. How do I link the Von signing with the Bills thread here? Can’t say I’ve enjoy the Von experience though all the facts aren’t out. But this just sums up this season. It’s not fun and it’s been so fun for the last few years. I agree with this. I don’t go around talking crap to people even though there are plenty of people I could. So I don’t have to worry about fighting people because I treat people the way I want to be treated. but somewhere along the way, cowards think they can mouth off and say super disrespectful things without consequence. Again, I’m a pacifist until forced, but a punch in the face is the best thing that can happen to a male sometimes.

Honest question: why are grown adults allowed to say wild things to another person they would never say in person? Or throw things at them? Because they pay money to go a game? boo them (think it’s super corny and weird to boo another man but whatever) and talk trash about the team. But there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed and our society has gotten too soft with that. Very fair and I would like to know what was said. Players can be too sensitive now. But there are so many loser fans and I don’t know why it’s ok to be a loser. but our country who have “leaders” who have never been a fight in their life who talk all types of reckless crap they could never back up. I won’t go as far as brining back bullying like you said earlier (though what is considered bullying has gotten really soft). But I was raised talk “crap” get hit and don’t say what you can’t back up. Now we have 12 year old losers calling each the n word on x box. We were once a proper society!

I mean I guess you proved your point of the thread. Allen has never led the nfl in ints. Myself and others think it would be more interesting to include all ints and fumbles because the stat is Allen leads in turnovers since he entered the nfl. Everyone knows Allen is awesome. But why are so many soccer moms about him? Just feel like this was misleading and deflecting of the point that Allen has some turnover issues. He is making $45 million. Hes allowed to be held to a really high standard.

That is a very fair point and I never mind those especially when compared to the Eagles one. Good post and it would be an interesting stat with weighed interceptions (like game situation, score, decision making - throwing into double coverage, or like the Hail Mary/ deep shot ones). we could make hundreds on it!

Great point. Stat nerds use fumble recoveries as something that can regress (if you recovered a lot the previous season) or improve (if vice versa). Fumbles are completely fluky.

Yeah, it’s like only doing a baseball average and only counting strikeouts and not other outs.

Alpha, I appreciate your post and positivity. - but why do you include rushing tds and not fumbles? Seems a bit misleading because Allen doesn’t lead in ints but does lead in total turnovers. - comparing Allen to guys who played over a decade ago is very misleading. We are in an era where Sam Howell is going to have as many 5,000 yard passing seasons as Marino, Montana, Kelly, Elway, and million other qbs combined. It’s never been easier to be a qb. is.

Zero chance he would stay on if he gets demoted. I don’t think any coach would.
