Jauron was reloading a 5-11 team? And for the millionth time, it was a self inflicted reload. McDermott has done a good job with the defense but it was a a defense that before Rex was one of the best in the nfl. I think SM is a better coach than Rex. But some of you act like he took over the 0-16 Browns. Just give Jauron a few more years and he’ll turn it around.

Nope. I never would fault a team for doing everything to help a young QB. I didn’t love the Sammy trade but they were trying to help a young qb. We don’t have a number 1 receiver. The only reason Zay is somewhat close to Sammy (and Sammy’s numbers are better) is because SW has a broken foot. Bills fans look at blanket numbers. Julio Jones had 3 tds one year. But his presence opens everything up for other players, Watkins isn’t Julio but the reason why great offensive coaches keep getting him, is because he’s a threat. No team fears Zay. No one fears Jordan Matthews (he’s just as good as SAmmy!). No one fears Benjamin but a buffet table. Again, we lack a number 1 receiver. Brown is too small. Beasley is a slot guy. Foster is a guy who couldn’t play at Bama who we cut. Sammy on a broken foot is more of a threat than any player on the Bills. No one fears our playmakers and it’s a huge problem. But hey, what do Reid and McVay know? Stay with me here. Perhaps great offensive coaches know more than bitter Bills fans? ?. It’s like some Bills fans laughed at stupid Belichick for paying Gilmore all that money! We are fans of a team that get excited when a qb throws for 200 yards!

You’re probably correct and we are all happy the drought is over. But if you are objective about that playoff team, it was about as bad of a playoff team as there has been. It also shows how pathetic the previous 17 years are because you should just get lucky. But expectations isnt a bad thing. Teams can go from bad to good in one offseason in the NFL. The Bears fired Lovie Smith after a 10 win season. The Raptors fired the coach of the year after making the conference finals. Honest question: what is one thing McDermott has shown that looks like an elite coach skill?

I absolutely love the Pegulas (especially Kim ?) but they have issues running organizations at this point. They won’t let Whaley hire a coach. They hire McDermott, let Whaley stay on through the draft, and then have McDermott hire his friend. In what world is Beane going to be able to fire McDermott? It’s why no good team hires a coach before a GM. It’s kinda insane. I mean look look at the Sabres. The GM they fired last year traded for a Vezina finalist goalie; a 30 goal scorer (Kane), and O’Reilly who was the MVP of a Stanley cup champion and the Sabres were trash this year. I think the Pegulas will figure it out because they are awesome people but it’s been a struggle. 1) if Sammy was here, you’d make every excuse for him. 2). He has played on the last 2 number offenses for 2 of the best coaches in football, who paid premiums to acquire him. Fun fact, qbs like having several good targets to throw to. But clearly, our offenses in the last 2 seasons were high functioning attacks. Maybe we can trade for another fat receiver again.

Levy/Kelly ranked 8th Coach/QB duo

Wasn’t the more on Kelly since called plays at the line? -
Dude, you have a hard on to hate on Reid. And who are to judge how how he raised his kids? As others in the thread have said, you could do an amazing job as a parent and kids still make mistakes. Pretty Richard if you to just judge when there is a very serious drug epidemic going on. But I’d love to see you speak to all the parents that lost a child and blame them for their death. Classy. I’m a psycho but I think Reid should be allowed to be the crap out of him. Keyboard gangsters.

VCR ALERT: 2019 Bills highlight film
C.Biscuit97 replied to Buftex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I miss the days of getting “certain” videos stuck in the VCR, not being able to get them out, and then having to hide the whole vcr. The good old days. -
Through 2 years Coach A: 14-18, -113 point differential, inherited a 5-11 team coach B: 15-17, -162 point differential, inherited a 7-9 team if Mcdermott wins 10+, extension. If he has a losing record, barring a major qb injury or just awful luck and Allen shows progress, he gets fired. Besides being a nice guy, what has he shown that is elite? It’s the nfl. You don’t need 5 years to turn around teams anymore. And coach A was Dick Jauron.

Pass rushers primed to breakout
C.Biscuit97 replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love Oliver. And it’s good to be enthusiastic. But I’ll learn that it helps to have reasonable expectations. Donald might be the greatest pass rushing DT when it’s all done. People are trying to say Allen will win the MVP. It’s just setting yourself up for disappointment. Oliver could have a Dareus type rookie year and that would be awesome. And I think you’re a smart poster even when we disagree. But you really think comparing qb stats from 35 years ago to current day is fair? -

C.Biscuit97 replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah dude. Josh Allen is John Elway. Ed Oliver is Aaron Donald. Foster is Antonio Brown. Knox is Travis Kelce. McDermott is Belichick. Beane is Bill Polian. And I only date girls who look like Margot Robbie. This year is going to be sick! -

I mean I guess it’s the same as people comparing Josh Allen to John Elway. I mean there’s a chance but to compare a guy to an all time great seems a little crazy. But Oliver can be a very good player. But Donald might be the best pass rushing DT of my lifetime. If Oliver is 70% as good as Donald, I’d be happy. -
And this is why some people hate the media. Gutless pukes who literally accomplish nothing and just crap on actual successful people. And for as great as you get paid, I think coaching kinda sucks. Andy Reid is in the top 5% of the top 5% in his profession and gets ? because he hasn’t won a SB. I know Reid has accomplished a lot more than that dork. And the amount of time you spend away from your family doesn’t seem worth IMO.

As laughable as that report looks, it’s one idiot’s opinion. It was the idiot who murdered Cam Newton’s smile. I think he is basically out of the “scouting” business. I remember every mock I saw had Donald as a first rounder (though no one could have ever imagined he would be this good). http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000345921/article/mock-draft-60-fourround-2014-nfl-draft-projection?akmobile=ios&akcarrier=other -
As hot as she is, her attitude sucks and she puts all their business on social media. So for that realize alone, I would only casually “date” her. I hope she understands.

7th Rd. Draft Pick Jordan Poyer...Play Maker
C.Biscuit97 replied to Court Jester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is why this regime should never spend high picks on secondary. I question a bunch of their moves but McDermott knows the secondary as well as anyone in the nfl. I also dont see his marriage lasting but he still still got her prime years. ? -
Things I Don't Care About in & Around the NFL !!
C.Biscuit97 replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t really disagree with this. I hate the timeout after a score and then a kickoff and a timeout. But it still is a business. I can’t kill something for maximizing its profits. ? -

Wait a second? A business is trying to maximize its profits??? Well, that’s plain crazy. and if you think the nfl is dying, by that logic, the nhl is deader than Lincoln. Talk about a clueless league.
