Not a big poster on this board but looking for a little company in misery. I broke up with my girlfriend of 5 years a few months ago. Went back and forth for awhile but it is officially over. It was the longest relationship of my life and the first girl I ever seriously though of marrying. Lately, I’ve just been beating myself up about screwing things up (she said I won’t grow up, which there is some truth sadly). Hardest thing is telling my mom because she thought for sure this was it. Can’t even pretend it didn’t hurt real bad because despite some annoying qualities she had, she was a great girl and I might have ruined having a beautiful family. And I know she is the type of girl that another guy will marry so that is going to suck real bad. So it’s been a tough few weeks. but now, I’m embracing the pain. I want to write a book and just make myself stronger. So if any of you have any advice or similar stories, this guy could use them right now. Growing up is hard. ?. P. S. She hated the Bills.

Foot injuries are terrible for receivers. Maybe we can question his toughness like some did with Sammy and force him to come back before he’s ready.

But if you force Jones out there too earlier, with a fan base that already hates the pick, it could be a disaster. crazy thing is I think the Giants are going to be better than people think.

When did this board become a cult? I used to defend every Bills move without flaw. I would attack “haters” for being too negative. Now that I don’t praise every Bills move or have questions about Allen, I’m a hater. i don’t think anyone would be wasting their time if they didn’t love the Bills. I have serious doubts about Allen and didn’t want the Bills to draft him. But nothing would make me happened than him proving me wrong. It’s not personal.

If you removed their names, Allen and Jones have very similar scouting reports.

I definitely respect the point you’re trying to make but GS is just another level talent wise. Another team could have shown heart like them but they just don’t have the talent. imo, the whole character thing gets so overblown. Look at the Jauron era rosters. The fact they won 7 games was a miracle. They had character and heart but they lacked talent. Of all my issues with the Bills, I don’t really ever question their heart and character. They just need more elite talent.

Got the best out of that turd Cutler. Helped Tebow make the playoffs, then transitioned to a completely different offense with Manning, and made the playoffs with crappy Tannehill and Moore. he’s a weirdo and maybe not the best head coach, but I’d take him in a second here to work with Allen.

At least, fans have reasonable expectations.

Fair point. I knew of a bunch of unreported stories of Lynch after his suspension that made the Bills get anything they could for him before he got suspended for life.

They have the same 15-17 record as the “awful” Whaley regime after 2 years. We have had awful offense and 2 years of negative point differential. Save the praise until they have a legit good team. It’s all fluff right now.
