Dak is way better than Tyrod and much younger. Based on how some of you think about other QBs, you are setting expectations Allen has no chance to meet.

It will be interesting and that’s why I hate the word potential because it’s so frustrating. Allen has far superior skills than Dak. But Dak was a better player in the SEC than Allen was in the MWC and had a much better Rookie year than Allen. IMO, it’s going to be tough for Allen to put up Dak’s first 3 years but I hope I’m wrong. Yeah for a team with our history, we sure are dismissing what Dak and the Cowboys have done.

Do you think Allen will have better numbers and more wins than Dak through 3 years? Of course, some have Allen as being a combo of John Elway, Cam Newton, and Big Ben so he probably should. I’m willing to guess your age and who you voted for! ? honest question. Why shouldn’t guys who makes millions for colleges and don’t get a dime, not get as much as they possibly can in the nfl? Do owners can get more money and then force taxpayers to pay for new stadiums? Why do fans favor the owners in these cases instead of the guys putting their bodies on the line?

Would you make the trade and what’s your offer? I’m so torn. I think JC’s rep is bigger than his game but he is so talented that maybe he figures it out. Mario was so so in Houston and was possibly the best DE in football for a year or 2 here.

These guys play a sport where their career can end on one play with non guaranteed contracts. Of course, Dak knows he’s not the best qb but he should try to get every cent he can. Are the team and fans going to care if he blows out his knee in camp and can’t play again? I never get why fans don’t support the players more instead of the owners. Dak contributes a lot more to winning than plastic face Jones.

Houston is closer to us on defense than we are to them on offense. Also, I think Watson is a borderline top 10 QB. And I don’t know how you can say our coaching is better. Obviously it can change but Houston has been a pretty consistent playoff team under O’Brien, even with terrible qbs. and the more I think about this, unless the Texans get a first rounder or a player that can step in right away, it’s a dumb deal. They should be going all in with Watson right now.

I don’t know you but I’m guessing you aren’t a minority. You don’t see how it is wrong to speak for how minorities grow up and think? That’s pretty ignorant. Id say the biggest problem in this country is lack of empathy. I was lucky. I grew up with a very mixed group of friends. I went to public and private schools. I worked in rural and urban areas. I realize most people don’t and this have a very narrow view of the world. I have friends who have extremely different views than me on nearly everything. But we can listen to each other and rationally talk. Even if we disagree. And while I don’t really agree with Matthews, I know the nfl is a scumbag league that really doesn’t care about its players.

Agreed 100%. I was pointing out that people who just dismiss him playing a game and not recognizing how hard it is to play in the nfl. Most people couldn’t do it. Wow. There is so much wrong with this. and I love god but the sad part of religion is some of the most religious people are the most judgmental people on the planet. I was taught to treat people how you wanted to be treated. And that Jesus hung out with the outcasts and the helped out the less fortunate.

The US is having racial problems because of Rishard Matthews and not idiot politicians who are playing to racist’s beliefs. I don’t really agree with him but he isn’t allowed to voice his opinions? And he worked a lot harder to play that game than a lot of lazy people criticizing him.

Good question. I compared it to the Sabres and those slug jerseys. Probably one of the best periods of the Sabres but those jerseys still are awful looking. I hate watching the highlights from that. i think the Sabres (royal blue and gold) and the current Bills have some of the best uniforms in sports so they should just keep them as is.

I don’t disagree at all. But we live in world where politicians act like bigger children than athletes. Why do we have higher standards for guys who play a sport?

Most talented, not sure about that. And the staying healthy part might be because he was 5’3” and weighed 125 lbs.

Those uniforms just symbolize the suck of that era. Awful, awful uniforms. Now we might have the best in the league.

I wasn’t alive during the Reggie Jackson years but I heard I how wonderful him and the manager got along and because of that great culture, they were able to win World Series.

I always thought of the Yankees as the Bills of baseball.

1) no one is arguing Dak is better than Wilson. But for sake of this, Dak has a better 3rd season than Russell. It wasn’t long ago when people called him a game manager playing with a great defense. Again, I don’t think Dak has his upside but he has a good 3 year start. 2). Allen has a long way to go to catch Dak at this point. As a critic of Allen, I’d be good with a Dak start to his career. It’s weird how some people think it’s a given though. Dak has been a better qb since playing in the Sec.
