Bucs apparently shopping OJ HOWARD
C.Biscuit97 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think TB will be good but this would be a worry. I think Arians is one of the best offensive coaches but man, you gotta do what’s made Brady so good. Howard is leaps and bounds better than Knox. It’s not even close. -
Bucs apparently shopping OJ HOWARD
C.Biscuit97 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How is Howard a knucklehead? Everything I’ve heard is he is a great dude. and this makes zero sense. Talent wise, he is as good as any TE in the nfl and Brady loves tight ends (?) and 2 TEs sets. I think this is fake news but I’d throw a 3rd at them to see if they bite. I still believe in him. He was a beast in college and was underutilized. -

Josh Allen’s JUCO Highlight Reel
C.Biscuit97 replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
https://www.cccaasports.org/sports/fball/2014-15/players/joshuaallen0oal I do agree with his physical skills, it is crazy more schools didn’t take a chance. But he was a 49% passer which is kinda crazy. What level of Juco is RC because not all Juco’s are the same. -
Beane: Not even contemplating trading up to 1st round
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Duke had some big moments but there must be something that’s holding the Bills back with him. and I’m only talking about Young. I would say that Three guys I hope make it to us in the second are Claypool, Pittman, or Gross Matos. I mean what is he going to say? That if this board did a consensus Pick here, they would build just as good of team If not better? -
Beane: Not even contemplating trading up to 1st round
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup. I think trading up for any non qb normally backfires. But IN terms of the team now and importance of the position, pass rusher would be the only one I’d be happy with. And it’s because I think Young is that good and it would make this defense an elite group. And pass rusher is one of the easier position to translate to the pros. This guy might be better than the Bosa bros. Before Allen and White get paid, this is the SB window. it won’t happen though. -
Beane: Not even contemplating trading up to 1st round

He’s traded up in every draft so far. and I think pass rusher and big receiver are much bigger needs than most fans realize. Our receiving code is tiny. And our 2 best pass rushers are in their 30s and Hughes is averaging like 5 sacks/ season for the last 4 years. I bet there is no real difference in this years draft and other years. I think people completely overrate how hard drafting is. Look at their film breakdown that’s all over YouTube, google the player’s history, and have virtual meetings with them. some of these guys act like they are trying to find the cure to the Coronavirus. -
Very fair point. I think Thielen was a lot more low key. but what I do worry about is that at this point, and I know you would agree, Cousins is a better passer than Allen. So how will Diggs handle a bad throw by Allen when he’s open? Or with Diggs drawing number 1 attention, Brown or Beasley having better numbers some games? I’d like to think he will be on his best behavior but Minnesota was a pretty good situation and he was unhappy there.

Eh, I think if he’s not a problem in the lockerroom, you tell him to shut up and we’re not going to trade you because we’re trying to win a SB. He really had no leverage. That said, the Bills offer problem was to good to turn down for a player who wasn’t happy. But I’m willing to bet big money Zimmer wasn’t happy with him last year. hopefully, he will happy this year.

Beane: Not even contemplating trading up to 1st round
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know this will never happen. And I know trading up in the 1st could be a disaster but I think I would be completely in on this. That would be pushing all the chips in. -
Browns to introduce new uniforms at 12:00 pm
C.Biscuit97 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was going to say the same thing. They have awful colors and make them look as good as they possibly can. Any other color scheme and those uniforms might be some of the best in the nfl. -
Any chance Trevon Diggs falls to the Bills?
C.Biscuit97 replied to Lurker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was more the suggestion of pass rusher not being a big need while suggesting punter is. Even if we were had a great d line, pass rusher is always something you can add. But on a team with not an elite one and 2 older guys as your best, pass rusher is a huge need. This defense could be elite if they could get a double digit guy. Relying on blitzes will get you best against good QBs, which we didn’t face a lot last year. And a good to great pass rush makes your secondary better. -

Hockey Teams don’t really make a lot of money. If I remember correctly, I think the Sabres lost money last year. The Bills, despite one of the lowest valued teams in the nfl, are carrying the Sabres. But TP loves hockey so they are his passion project. But he doesn’t have the Sabres to make money. Yup. McDermott is Beane’s boss. -
Steven A Smith is great on basketball and for everything else, he’s entertainment. He’s hilarious and is now in on the joke. Miles times better than that idiot Skip. I literally can’t believe anyone seriously watches him. He is the guy who will argue for hours that the sky isn’t blue. He sucks. https://mobile.twitter.com/sasburneracct

How do you judge a good defense?
C.Biscuit97 replied to BritBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good post. This is one of those things where more analytics is very helpful. https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/nfl/overall-drive-stats/2019 as I mentioned with TB, in terms of scoring defense, they gave up 28 points a game, 4th worst in the nfl. But they were 8th best in yards per drive. Jameis killed them. -
Justin Herbert is being predicted to Miami over Tua
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s hilarious that people all of A sudden decide to blindly trust China. I only get my news from trusted sources like North Korea and Kim Kardashian. Interesting comparison. The only thing I’ll say about Herbert is he put up good numbers in college. Ponder wasn’t even really that good. i call that the Blaine Gabbert syndrome. Monster college stats don’t mean anything. But if are going to be a first round pick and didn’t look really good in college, it makes me really nervous. -
How do you judge a good defense?
C.Biscuit97 replied to BritBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah and as others have pointed out 3rd down conversion %. I also think there are other factors that should be considered. Field position is huge. One of the reason people think TB can be really good is because their defense played better than normal stats would show because Winston put them in a lot of bad situations with turnovers. So a crappy offense can really hurt a defense.
