As someone who just loves football and could care less who the announcers are, it blows my mind how much these guys get paid to say a lot but say nothing at all.

He’s good but yeah, he isn’t a game changer and completely benefits from Chase. and the bills played backups and lost a game. But yeah, I guess it was some masterful move somehow haha.

I said that during the game. He never throws over the middle. They were able to hide that but it’s catching up to them. Also, him and Pickens are off and the rest of that offense is meh. And I don’t care if it helps us. I hate injuries. Honestly, they should run 2 TEs, run heavy, and sprinkle in RPOs/ play actions. They will be a really hard out if that play that way and don’t get too cute which they have done in past playoffs.

Great point. It guarantees nothing. This draft isn’t even that great. The Ravens rarely pick high and got their franchise qb later in the first. good teams figure it out. Bad teams beg to tank. The Pats are a bad team.

I remember being with some Bills fans during his draft and this one guy went nuts when the Bills picked him. As not a big o line guy, I was shocked how excited someone would get over a 2nd round guy but he said he’s a monster and will be one of the best Gs in the nfl in a couple of years. I owe that guy a beer but he has been awesome. Great draft pick.

That’s fair too. I just think if he went to the bears and they invest in their oline, that could be a great situation. Of course the nfc North is a monster so that might discourage that.

Have people ever played football or any competitive sport? Pro athletes don’t take, especially football players. Why do they care about next year or a guy who might take their spot? It’s so stupid when fans get mad at players for winning “meaningless” games. It’s their job and they are going to try to win.

Mayo fired after 4-13 with maybe the worst roster in the nfl and rookie qb. Daboll goes 3-14, his second straight losing season after barely making the playoffs with a $40 million qb. Makes sense. Funny that you say that because one of my best friends loves that dude and we have no idea why.

He’s been an amazing OC but I think I would be disappointed if I was a fan of a team that hired him. He just seems like the hot OC who would get fired in 3 years because he didn’t have Josh Allen to work with (see Daboll, Brian). it’s why I think Ben Johnson is going to be great. Goff is good but he makes him look so much better. How hard is it to make Allen good at this point?

As someone going to the game, I agree. Going to work on Mondays after games sucks.

I think the point is he really hasn’t done anything against teams that are good. I still think he can start in the right situation but it’s not based on this meaningless game.

Fair points. I’m a big fan of comparison is the thief of joy. Obviously, I’m a bills fan but I really can respect other players. I really like Lamar because he does it his own way and keeps getting doubted despite winning numerous awards/ improving ever year. Burrow may be the best pure pocket passer right now. Mahomes and Allen are in their own category. So I just view them all as top 5 guys rather than rank them. I would put Herbert behind them until he wins something meaningful. One of the most talented guys in the league and they are going to be a problem going forward with Harbaugh. Honestly, he’s still a solid starter in this league. I heard someone mention the Steelers and that would make a ton of sense.

Salute to them. I also liked the Vikes. NFC bills.

So happy for Von!!!! He totally deserves it! Great signing! I think teams would target him in the run game. I would run right at him and wear him out. I think he is best used as a situational pass rusher, which could be super valuable.

One of my favorite players ever but he’s become such a weirdo and a divisive guy for 2 franchises now. When your own family doesn’t speak with you, it’s a major red flag.

Based on this game, I think the Rodgers Jets tenure was a success!!! Bring him back. It’s against the spineless Fins in slightly chilly weather. What good teams did he play good against?

That’s fair. But I’m sure you can look back at plenty of 1st time coaches who struggled with that stuff their first year. He’s from the Belichick mumble speak tree. But fair points. That roster was absolute garbage though. Or Brady covering up for them.

He won a game. 4 of them. what coach would have been successful with that crappy roster? Belichick won 4 games last year. They shouldn’t have hired him in the first place if they were going to give him a legit shot.
