They both had way, way, way better rosters and guys who have been consider franchise qbs.
-
Don’t want to say racist. But him, Pierce, and Steve Wilkes were given one year for awful teams with no or rookie qbs while dennis Allen, Shurmur, and plenty of other terrible coaches get multiple years on multiple teams. again, the best coach in the NFL won 4 games with that team last year. They set him up to fail.
-
They literally gave him no chance to win. It’s going to the be the way with pierce in LV. Meanwhile, losers like Dennis Allen get 2 teams to suck on.
-
They gave him one of the worst rosters in the NFL, a rookie qb, and he won as many games as the greatest coach ever did the year before. Literally, they gave him no chance. I hate that entitled, crybaby fanbase. Hopefully, they will stay irrelevant.

Who said it wasn’t a top 5 roster? Dorks who don’t follow the bills? Because we lost a bunch of washed up defensive vets? the biggest point of why I thought Allen would win MVP is because the story line of losing Diggs to national media. I think Diggs was a loss but plenty of smart Bills fans pointed out they weren’t really using him in the second half of the year anyways and Shakir was emerging. and since I have $100 on the Bills winning the SB, I was always confident in how overhyped our losses were especially after we got Cooper

Top 5 (at worst) oline top 5 rb a top 5 wr current leader in receiving yards maybe the most underrated wr in the league nfl a 2nd round rookie wr who has has good moments a former 1st round TE a head coach with a .662% and has made the playoffs every year except Allen’s rookie year. again, Allen will win the MVP but these is a very good to potentially great franchise who helped a wild guy from Wyoming grow into a MVP. The Buffalo Bills are a top 5 nfl franchise I’m beyond relaxed. I think Allen and Jackson are both awesome QBs who help elevate good to great talent around them. the Ravens and Bills are top 5 nfl franchises who helped Allen and Jackson grow into the players they are. The team you get drafted to matters as we see with the Jets and Panthers.

Thanks for proving my point. We have had arguably the best o line in the NFL. Cook isn’t Henry but he has produced as top 5 rb the last 2 years (he outgained Henry in 2023). The gain between Flowers and Shakir isn’t that big and Cooper has 1,300 yards and is top in current receiving yards. The only major gap is TE where we have a first rounder and a guy who has had some productive seasons. We have good players surrounding a great one. Stop putting them down to give Allen his props. He’s going to win the MVP anyways.

Von Miller needs 1 sack for $1.5 million

Finally the Bills are taking care of Von!!!! He hit a rb hard once! -
Thank you!!! This is why the MVP conversation is so dumb. Allen is possibly the best player in the nfl right now but people want to act like he is carrying bums. The Bills have and are a top 5 organization/ talented team in the nfl. Stop putting the rest of the team down. it’s the nfk. No player Carries a team. Every mvp candidate benefits from good players around them.

So you know what TV does? It tries to create stories and points that will make people watch. Saying Jokic, who is super boring, should win the MVP every year (and he probably should) is boring TV. Saying Allen should win mvp all year is boring tv. I find those shows stupid and I don’t watch but it’s how they suck in people to watch. if Allen would the mvp last year, Jackson would be the favorite this year. That’s why Allen is going go to win it this year. But to act like it’s an outrage than a qb who is having one of the great seasons ever is being discussed is completely insane. Buffalo fans need to stop the victim mentality. We are too good for that now.
-
some of you love being victims. You know it’s a total act right? It’s amazing how people even these professionals trolls like Wright, Bayless, Cowherd, etc. you are the reason they make so much money being awful.
-
It’s a job that pays you millions and you get to go a franchise that is maybe the worst in sports, next to the Sabres. If turns them around, he’s a god. It would be a smart hire and it depends who the qb will be because he had a real qb instead of Tannehill, those Titans teams could have made the SB.
-
I think the Bills have kept Cook from even bigger numbers. He easily could have 1,200 yards if we used him more. He also is a woman puncher. It’s why I refuse to draft him in fantasy. We have morals on my team.
-
The only team that would concern me are the Bengals. Big, physical teams are our weakness. Miami will be forever soft and dies in the cold. Denver isn’t a great running team and Nix needs to prove he isn’t more than a dink and dunker in cold weather (of course it was 60 last Sunday). Payton is severely overrated and their defense has been showing cracks lately. That would be an all time awful loss
-
Jackson has 39 td to 4 int, 4,000 passing yards, 121.6 qb rating l, 852 yards rushing, and 4 tds. He’s having a historically great season. can we stop pretending like it’s some crazy conspiracy that some media is “hyping” up Jackson unfairly? Allen or Jackson are both more than worthy of being MVP.

Throws a great pro bowl party

I think we are going to be more run heavy/ play action heavy this post season. Some of the reasons our defense folds in the playoffs (remember Frazier and his awful top 3 defenses every year? 🤮) are injuries and because you face better qbs in the postseason. McDermott would be a dummy not to realize this and know the best defense can be a good offense. I feel like they purposely don’t use Cook as much as they could. I can see Davis and Allen running the ball more as well. This defense is like the Colts during the manning years. If we get a lead, we are pretty good.

1 - this model and the Chiefs will be the new receiving model going forward. Your big money qb will be asked to elevated castoffs and young guys with cheap contracts. You don’t have to deal with paying a diva, annoying, self centered WR a ton of money since they rarely are on SBs. 2 - your castoffs and young guys get locked down because you are playing better teams/ defenses and you can’t convert clutch situations because you don’t have a guy to go to (though Shakir could be that guy). it will be very interesting to see how it plays out. As a former wr, I can’t stand most of them because they are just about themselves but I’d be lying to say this isn’t a bit of a worry.
-
I’m shocked he’s still even in the league. He’s been washed forever. I’d rather have Bruce than him.
-
Buffalo fans have this victim complex. Josh Allen is all over commercials, has a Hollywood fiancé, and is one of the most popular athletes in America.
-
Eh. The pro bowl is kinda a joke. I think our o line is just as good as the Ravens; cook should have made it, and Flowers shouldn’t be a pro bowler. Allen is going to win MVP but pro bowl doesn’t mean a thing.
-
Think about before the season and 2 Jets’ offensive players were going in the first 2 rounds of fantasy drafts!!!! (I still think Wilson is really good) what a sad Franchise! I pray they hire Rex Ryan.

What is Josh Allen worth in wins and losses?
C.Biscuit97 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I gotta push back on this and it has nothing to do with how awesome Allen is. But that’s why I hate the MVP talk because he kinda craps on the rest of the team. do people not remember who Allen was when we got him? He was an extremely raw qb from Wyoming. The Bills were a playoff team the year before. They keep the same OC for Allen for 4 years, which rarely happens. They have consistently been a playoff team under McBeane. People need to stop acting like this team is the Jets when it is one of the best organizations in the NFL. Allen has developed into possibly the best player in the nfl. But this organization helped him developed into that. -
I actually think the Bills don’t use Cook as much as they should. Dude averages 5.0 ypc. But he is healthy so I can’t second guess it. But he 100% is a top 5 rb and deserving of recognition. I think a few o linemen deserved if as well but honestly, most people don’t pay attention to the o linemen. I mean he probably should. He has the most leverage he ever has and RBs get treated like dirt. Some Bills fans completely undervalue him as well.

Another reason why MVP is stupid: why isn’t Jayden Daniels more talked about? They were a joke franchise and won 4 games last year. Because he’s a rookie?
