  1. I agree with you. Rivera is “trying” to save his job and is desperate for wins. Tommy Devito 🤌 was a nice story but he was pretty terrible and might not be in the league next year. Daboll’s job is safe but coaches and players still want to win. Those 2 guys give you a much better chance at that. personally, I think Taylor and Brissett should be allowed to be traded to a playoff contender team that needs a qb right now. Howell will be the next Gardner/ Fitz. Good in spot starts but gets worst the more he plays. He will have a nice career as a backup but he’s not a starter. tommy D should milk the pizzerias for money because he’s a borderline nfl qb.
  2. I like this point but I think we definitely win 7/8 with Care because that’s who he is. Hes the definition of average and we have a good supporting cast around Allen, even if the number 2 spot could be upgraded. but we aren’t SB contenders with him.
  3. That’s a huge product of Lamar and how terrifying he is running the ball. Flowers is good but they are scrub central after him with Edwards out. Your Lamar take is awful. this year is tough. If Pitt had a better record, I’d put Watt up there. But I’d go CMC/ Lamar whoever finishes with division Allen/ Tua Dak because of stats though they are frauds Watt csnt vote for hill because he’s a trash person but he might be the most deserving with CMC. Lamar is so under appreciated on this board but this should be a non qb year.
  4. But it’s really not. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/awards/ap-nfl-mvp-award.htm in the last 15 years (could more but I didn’t feel like checking), the MVP winners averages 12/13 wins. One was Matt Ryan, which could be Allen’s best case, who went 11-5 and beat out Brady (28 td/ 2 ints 14-2, best the Falcons in the SB) and Peterson who had 2,000 yards. also besides Mahomes, most MVPs don’t win the SB so do we even want Allen to win it? This a bills board haha.
  5. Find this hard to believe. There would be a riot on this board if that was the case and I’d lead it. mVP tends to go to the best player on the best team. I guess we’ll see if history is made this year. I put some money in Allen so I’m be happy haha. But I just want playoff success ultimately.
  6. So if the Bills were the most consistent team from start to finish; had to go the whole season without Cook; Diggs missed 3 games; and we had the lead for basically 95% of games, you would think Lamar was the mvp with a worse record but better stats?
  7. Their defense is 1st while our awful defense is 4th!!!! https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2023/opp.htm our offense averages 2 more yards/ game while we have a better Wr1, possibly wr2 (obj is washed), a better rb, and haven’t had their star TE for 3 games. https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team I think Allen is the better overall qb. I just think this board hates to give Lamar credit. He needs to prove it in the playoffs but his impact on them is undeniable. If the Bills were challenging for the 1 seed, Allen is the favorite. But they aren’t and it’s been a super inconsistent season.
  8. Since we have good teams mainly left, I feel great!
  9. Can’t disagree except that the Ravens stomped them. But this should be a non qb year.
  10. I think he’s better than Shaq but overall, I agree. Probably be perfect for a 3-4 team. He has no real explosion.
  11. You basically just summed up Davis’ whole career haha. Be is going to great number 2 stats which he basically gets in like 5 games. and as an owner of both guys in fantasy, they had completely different seasons. Diggs dominants first half and then they switched. Love Cook though. Glad we decided to use him
  12. I think he’s gone. He’s a tough guy to evaluate. I loved the pick but it took a while for him to become a legit starter and I’m not sure he is a total 3 down guy. He lacks burst so I don’t ever see him being a double digit sack guy. ideally, he thrives in a rotation and he is really good in that role. I’m just not sure how much that is worth and it’s probably more than we want to pay. Solid player in the Chris Kelsay (better) vein.
  13. Agreed. They also are guessing on what each players job assignment is on each play. They also penalize guys like Allen, Mahomes, Jackson who do insane things that only a few qbs could even attempt.
  14. Liar. They went 2-4 without Lamar (who was 8-4). Their backups accounted for 5 tds and 6 ints as opposed to Lamar’s 20 tds and 7 ints. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/rav/2022.htm
  15. It’s real football and not fantasy. Jackson is the qb of the best team in the nfl who just stomped the team everyone thought was the best team in the nfl on the road. Their only losses were flukes games they choked at the end. They are a top 5 team in history of how much they have led games this year. They are down to their 3rd string rb. Lamar has been doing it without their next best offensive player for the last 3 games. He has a career record of 57-19 while his backups have a losing record. I think this is the year a non qb should win. But considering the Ravens stomped the crap out of the 49ers, it is hard to make the argue for CMC today. it’s just weird we are penalizing him for dominating the games early so they don’t have to come back or stat pad. Keyshawn is a moron for a million reasons but you could make that statement for almost every top qb. But what about the halves the offense completely sucked and the defense keep us in the game - jags, Jets, broncos, pats, chargers? everyone knows Allen is awesome and our best player. But it still is a team game. This whole season has been really inconsistent and I think for a MVP, you need to be the most consistent player through the year. Allens has higher highs than everyone except maybe Mahomes. But there have been too many lows. that said, he can lead us to a SB and who cares about a MVP?
  16. That’s why PFF grades are so stupid. There were plays that only 3 qbs in the nfl could have made all game. If KC didn’t have Mahomes, they would be one of the worst teams in the nfl this year.
  17. Their oline has taken a major step back this year. Bad OTs and now injuries in the interior. Combine that with their garbage WRs, it’s the season from hell for Mahomes.
  18. How was he crapping on his oline? Have you ever played football? Those conversations have multiple times a game. He bought them custom golf carts and tried motivating them to play better. I would love to be crapped on like that. He is. The fact he is making Sam Howell look like a passable nfl starter is proof enough.
  19. You could do this for every qb in the league though. Defense also kept us in games when the offense was struggling too (NE, NYJ, Chargers, Denver).
  20. I struggled to see them giving a MVP to a 6 loss team. I also think we going crazy with the Td stat. If instead of giving the ball to JAG Gus Edwards for 11 tds this year, they tush pushed him for like 7 more, does that really matter? I think if situations were reversed and we will be losing our minds if we had the number 1 record, just beat the 49ers on the road, that we had the MVP. that said, I’ll put some money on Allen.
  21. They played crappy against a crappy team. Zero excuses but they won. So I’m good with it if not impressed.
  22. Playing a team we lost to earlier in the season that has 4 wins and starts a guy named Bailey. They need to hammer those nerds for almost 29 years of pain they inflicted upon us.
  23. It never once entered my mind we could lose to a guy named after a hockey stick. But I was a little drunk and we almost did.
