  1. That’s a great point. Also because Allen was never a star or played in an elite program, he has no ego like some of the big name college guys. He was a mold of clay that was willing to listen. And those type of prospects fail 99%of the time. I hate the high upside, not great production prospects. I remember saying we expect a guy to be better in the AFC East than he was in the Mountain West? I couldn’t believe how dumb that sounded and the Bills/ Allen made me the dumb one for once!!! and I don’t care. I still think Rosen could have had a better career if he didn’t get drafted into the worst situation for a rookie qb. It’s insane how much faster/ athletic he looks in pads than he did running in shorts. It makes no sense. Josh Alien.
  2. I feel like some of that is hindsight. Are the Bengals really dumb for taking Chase? Or the Jags for taking Lawrence who was thought to be a generational qb talent (never got it but he was)? Sewell is a RT. Most teams can’t afford to take a RT that high. Never got Walker going #2. That was incredibly stupid. I think when you start stacking up good players, it raises up the talent you have. Some of those players aren’t as good on other teams. We are living in a world where the Bills and Lions are model nfl teams. The world is about to end,
  3. I readily own doubting Josh. I doubted that Bills would be competent enough to develop a qb like Allen. Salute to him for making huge changes that 99% of qbs could never do. Never been happier to wrong. Josh Alien is a unicorn
  4. I’ll be honest. I hated when Moorman was the face of our franchise (I can say that because one of my good friends was a college punter). I hated the Punt God saga. I think punter is the easiest, least pressure jobs in all of sports. And when we have an awesome qb, Idint care about the the punter (I thought his name was Chris Martin for awhile).
  5. At the same point, the lions are absolutely loaded because Holmes might be the best GM in the nfl. I love Campbell but he is just the crazy guy who goes for on 4th down and is fired in 2 years if he’s the Raiders coach.
  6. The thing with Allen is actually has too much of a personality to be a cyborg. Now Russell Wilson or Justin Herbert? 🤔
  7. Obviously, I’m jealous that I didn’t have a friend whose dad was a NFL GM (I went to a real high school). But this type of hiring is terrible IMO. Some many talented football people who never get a chance d because they don’t have the right parents or connections. I guess that’s life.
  8. I have never gotten our fascination with punters. We have Josh Allen, who cares haha.
  9. Not sure if this has been shared but I thought this was awesome. He is truly a unicorn who put in so much work to become the player he has become. Truly impressive.
  10. Hilarious what expectations do. They were literally one of the least talented teams in recent history when both of these guys got their roles. Clearly a flawed team, but they are always a playoff threat (not to us) and have talent. both guys have been good at their jobs. Fans quickly forget what guys have built and have zero patience.
  11. Good post but this is my problem with analytics in football. There are so many other factors in football that can just be measured in football like in baseball. Analytics say it is much better to pass way more than run. That doesn’t take into account than o lineman would much rather run block than pass block. Also, run blocking can wear out a d line that can significant effects later in the game. No one thought a receiving group of Flowers (best version is worse version of Diggs, good player), Bateman (never healthy) and Agalor (garbage) was anything special before the season. How would that group be in Vegas or Tennessee? This is a stat that illustrates how dangerous Lamar is and Henry. Allen is going to win the MVP but as much as nerds they, stats just don’t blindly fit in football. both Allen and Lamar have top 5 lines (the Ravens lost 2 or 3 starters this offseason as well) but both of those lines and WRs are helped tremendously by their qbs and their teams ability to run the ball.
  12. This is like the person who complains about everyone being a snowflake. im very optimistic (out some good money on that). But as a Bills fan, can you blame anyone for not being nervous? All that negativity comes from love and not waiting to be hurt. Agree it’s annoying but don’t seek it out.
  13. Can’t believe Mayo and Pierce didn’t produce better results with those awesome teams and stud qbs. But clearly, Callahan and Daboll proved themselves and deserve long leashes. hopefully, Dennis Allen and Pat Shurmur will get another chance. 3rd time is the charm. At least in football (which Terry cares less about 😂).
  14. I was so confident and wanted this game now the Buffalo in me is getting a bit nervous. I don’t want this ride to end. plus, I still don’t think Nix is anything special. Please make him throw the ball down the field and double Sutton. They are a rhythm type of team so I think if we jump on them early, it should be an easy w. Please crush their souls early.
  15. Allen is winning the MVP. But these stats are so dumb. Literally no one thought the Ravens had a special receiving group before the year. Zay Flowers is a good wr buts he’s a borderline 1 and doesn’t come close to the elite 1s. Bateman is superior over Cooper or Shakir? No one would ever say that. again, Allen is winning the MVP. But why I hate this award (though it is fun to debate) is how hard we work to act like their teammates aren’t good. Once we got Cooper, this became a good receiving group.
  16. I swear to god if my bills SB before win, the OP owes me some money!
  17. Fans celebrated Frazier getting fired after multiple top 3 defenses.
  18. I remember it being like $20/$30 all you can drink drafts and eat chicken wings during the games. That’s amazing in Elma much less Manhattan. Can’t imagine what that place would be like for the Josh Allen playoff years.
  19. As someone who just loves football and could care less who the announcers are, it blows my mind how much these guys get paid to say a lot but say nothing at all.
  20. He’s good but yeah, he isn’t a game changer and completely benefits from Chase. and the bills played backups and lost a game. But yeah, I guess it was some masterful move somehow haha.
  21. I said that during the game. He never throws over the middle. They were able to hide that but it’s catching up to them. Also, him and Pickens are off and the rest of that offense is meh. And I don’t care if it helps us. I hate injuries. Honestly, they should run 2 TEs, run heavy, and sprinkle in RPOs/ play actions. They will be a really hard out if that play that way and don’t get too cute which they have done in past playoffs.
  22. Um , the team is called the WNYPartsoftheRestofNYLowerCanadaTransplant Bills I partied with a Romania Bills fan at McFadden’s (RIP). He was hardcore.
  23. Have not pay attention to him at all but if he put in the time to improve, good on him. I just heard about him being in some z list women drama.
  24. Great point. It guarantees nothing. This draft isn’t even that great. The Ravens rarely pick high and got their franchise qb later in the first. good teams figure it out. Bad teams beg to tank. The Pats are a bad team.
  25. I remember being with some Bills fans during his draft and this one guy went nuts when the Bills picked him. As not a big o line guy, I was shocked how excited someone would get over a 2nd round guy but he said he’s a monster and will be one of the best Gs in the nfl in a couple of years. I owe that guy a beer but he has been awesome. Great draft pick.
