  1. I lived on Guam for years and dealt with a few F-5 typhoons and I know one thing for sure...when the surface temp of the water is above 90 degrees these things dont fizzle out...get the hell out of new orleans. I work at a marriott here in san antone and hotels all around the area are booking up with folks from LA so that is a good sign
  2. Which is followed quickly by the final cut a few days after the game
  3. Thats ridiculous to think thats the Bills only met opponents who approached their skill level when they reached the Super Bowl. Would a "soft" team comeback against the Oilers or had the ability to beat the Broncos in a 10-6 defensive struggle and a game won on an interception when the team was geared to score points? Jesus would a "soft" team even made the Super Bowl three years in a row? And to say the preseason had anything to do with them losing Super Bowls is one of the most outrageous i have ever heard. Giants - the Tuna outcoached Levy. Redskins - one of the best teams I have ever watched in my young life. Cowboys I - the 'girls were just a superior football team. Cowboys II - damn if only Thurman had had a few more carries in the preseason maybe he wouldn't have fumbled! Underachievers? My god I forgot how many other teams have been to four straight super bowls...it would have been nice to win one but that team was still amazing. Sorry your post sucked.
  4. JP still hasnt turned the ball over...thats pretty impressive for a kid who threw all of 5 passes in the NFL before this preseason.
  5. Lonestar beer is the best...thats all i drink now that i live in Tejas...tastes like bud light but costs as much as natty light!
  6. I really hate the patsies but you can't argue the championships. I would take Rick Mirer if it meant a championship for the bills.
  7. until he gets that first real good hit on him
  8. I think they have a pretty good grasp on JPs performance...he wasn't terrible he wasn't great but he's got great talent around him and he can thrive using that talent. But it is also one damn preseason game so who gives a rats ass anyway. Sept 11 is when it finally matters.
  9. it doesnt matter when it happens i love watching the fish lose
  10. I've been goin' out every night havin' a ball Comin' home about a quarter to two Oh you said that you'd be leavin' If you didn't start seein' A change in me really soon You said it's gettin' really old And that you wanna be told That I ain't a drinkin' no more Well now honey here it goes, Better listen close Before you go walkin' out the door I ain't a drinkin' anymore Oh now that's what you want me to say I ain't a drinkin anymore Guess you finally got your way Nope I ain't a drinkin' not a one beer That's what you wanna hear But honey I must confess I ain't a drinkin' anymore But I ain't drinkin' any less Ain't Drinkin' Anymore- - Kevin Fowler...probably not known to many unless you're from Oklahoma or Texas
  11. TB was probably not too disappointed in Favre's play when he was drafted since he was playing for the Falcons.
  12. I live in Texas and have to hear about how Drew is going to save this team and take them back to post-season glory everyday. I am just glad we Bills fans never thought Drew was the second coming I love the fact that the Cowboys 26-38 record over the last four years is going to be turned around by a guy whos teams have gone a stellar 28-36 during his last four years as a full time starter.
  13. He must complete like 60 percent of his passes. He must throw for at least close to 3,000 yards, if not more. He must drop like 20 touchdown passes on the league. And he had better not end up with a 20 spot when it comes to interceptions. And . . . and . . . is it asking too much for the Cowboys' leading quarterback to be sacked fewer than the at least 34 they have suffered in each of the past three seasons? I don't know how this thread turned its focus to Bledsoe but this article is just too freakin much. IN his last 2 years Bledsoe was under 60% in completion percentage. And i dont think any Bills fan needs to be reminded of Bledsoe's "pat pat pat sack" style of play behind the line. If Larry Allen can't push himself away from the buffett long enough to get on the field Bledsoe will be sacked at least 34 times.
  14. Sorry, in this game of NFL football, you can't win consistently without a good quarterback. He doesn't have to be All-Pro, but he can't be average, either. And no matter how you cut it, the Cowboys' quarterback play has been average at best over the past four seasons. Thus, a 26-38 record. HAHAHA Drew's record in his last 4 seasons as a full time starter (Buf 2002-04, NE 2000)? Anybody know? Its 28-36! I am going to love living down here in TX with all these Cowgirls fans! This team is going to blow and with Drew's "mobility" combined with Larry Allen being too much of a fat ass to play this team is headed for a 3-4 win season. Its fun watching the Girls' fans being disillussioned just like us Bills fans 4 yrs ago! Bledsoe is below average at best and has been for the last 5 or 6 years. Bill Parcells needs to take his man-titties and just retire because Bledsoe is done. And so are the Cowboys.
  15. WOOOOZAAAAH, calm down man its early...let the kid get just a little camp under his belt before you get concerned.
  16. I hope shaud is the no. 2 RB going into the opener especially if he bulked up a bit. i really enjoyed watching him last year.
  17. sweet. i hope he's right about jpl but all of this is just talk a can't friggin wait for the pre-season start
  18. I hear he follows the Pat Williams 6 minute ab routine.
  19. Amen to that. Drew would have been much more productive with even a decent TE. When he had Coates he was one of the best in the league but without a good TE Drew was completely average maybe even below average. The cowgirls have a pro bowl TE and Drew will do just fine if his O-line plays well.
  20. A lot of the improvement in pass protection was due to the fact that a running back who couldnt block my grandmother was replaced by a terrific pass blocking back.
  21. I will admit that i overlooked mays but i would still make an argument for the Georgia Peach. And I would have said Bonds but it feels tainted with the steroid thing. If he is indeed not juiced up (highly unlikely in light of Conte's plea) then Bonds is by far the greatest athlete in baseball history.
