  1. Amen. I am still trying to get my head around the "pass" JP threw in New England.
  2. I miss the glory days...I can't freakin believe its been 10 years.
  3. I've done stupid sh** but alas none of it has caused me to perish.
  4. I wouldn't say Drew made bad passes that cost the team the Steelers game. I would say Tom Clements choked pretty hard in regards to play calling. They moved away from the aggressive play that had gotten them big leads and the Steelers ate them up. Oh yeah and the defense couldn't stop the Bus and Duce, nope wait that was Willy freakin Parker who ran all over them, but I forgot Drew plays defense and kicks field goals.
  5. I couldn't believe the Bills didn't bring Christie back when he was available...if they had we may have watched a playoff game or two this season. But if we can get Vinatieri or Nugent go for it.
  6. It just pisses me off that the Fish made me feel like this team is vulnerable. Now they are going to pummel the Steelers and win another SB. I hate Marcia and her teammates!
  7. My family is from Buffalo but all of them moved to Phoenix and everybody remained loyal to the Bills except for my grandfather, who is now a Cards fan. I thought Bills fans were myopic, but my grandfather is the worst. No matter what moves they make in the offseason the Cards are super bowl contenders and he doesn't understand why ESPN et al are not picking them to win.
  8. I loved watching TH because he is so damn tough and I thought played his heart out while he was the starter (as soon as heart picks up a blitzing LB let me know). What was more revealing about THs heart to me was TH's response to adversity in the form of Willis McGahee. A true competitor would have worked hard and played his ass off every chance he got to get back in the starting lineup or at least to garner more attention in the off season. Instead of doing that TH pouted and ruled himself out of playing in games showing no heart and no real concern over team success, and because of that I can't wait until he's gone and I hope he does stojan elsewhere.
  9. I'm feeling those Rutka definitely have a throw back feel. I also like the ones on the other board that was posted. Anything but the disgusting display we have to look at every Sunday.
  10. Great intelligent points for your second post . I hate the Pats as much as any Bills fan (especially Marcia) but this team has 2 of the last 3 SBs, so they do not win simply by "cheating" and questionable officiating. They're good but I think as Vanderjerk said "they are ripe for picking" with the injuries in the secondary and Seymour the defense could get torn apart by the jugernaut that is Indy.
  11. Every coach who becomes successful has great coordinators around him. We'll see how much a "genius" BB is when Weis and hopefully Romeo leave to pursue head coaching jobs. I just see this team falling back to earth, because CW's scheme really hides Marcia's weaknesses.
  12. I remember watching a Giants preseason game probably five years ago and one of their back-up safeties put a nice hit on a wideout and Mike Patrick said "Receivers better take notice 'so and so' is half Cherokee Indian." I thought it was hilarious, because nobody said a word about it.
  13. I can see a market for those signs on ebay in a few years.
  14. It wasn't at work, but my fraternity brother went home for xmas and I had read a blurb in maxim about a guy who stayed at his buddies place and wrapped everything in tinfoil. So I got a few of the other brothers and we tinfoiled my buddy's room. Well, over a mile of foil later he's still unwrapping for a second day.
  15. How many titles did elway, marino and kelly win by themselves?
  16. Brett Favre is useless now. Its time for him to ride off into the sunset, because his decision making is terrible and his arm is not the same. He hasnt been consistent for a few years now.
  17. He looks alot like Kelly did right before he retired. He wants to make all the throws he did in his younger days but just can't do it anymore. I hope Brett hangs em up and doesn't tarnish his rep as a clutch QB because he has been anything but clutch in the last few years.
  18. You can't take two keys to a team (one on each side of the ball) and trade it for one player. Peyton is great and he may get his SB this year but he always has a helluva lot of time to throw and some great WRs to boot. Thinking that Peyton would bring a SB to Buffalo is completely assinine.
  19. I dunno how bout Moulds' fumble and Andre's later ejection in that game.
  20. The election was the best part of 2004 for more than 60 million of us.
  21. it doesn't matter if the teams suck because they are still playoff teams. What you're saying is that any AFC team with wins over NFC playoff teams don't really count. What you should have said is that we have not beat an AFC playoff team, but remember we ended the playoff hopes of the Bungholes in their own stadium and we beat the hell out of the Jests.
  22. Your post is somewhat football related but it still makes no sense. Who cares if 1st rounders are "more likely to succeed" they are supposed to that's why they were drafted in the first round. All QBs must have good players around them to be successful, just look at Elway and Marino. Elway didn't win until he had a DOMINANT running game to work with and Marino never won because he never had a running game.
