  1. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1950067 Welp the Eagles are done.
  2. ...TH you ignorant slut. All QBs need time and a semblance of a running game to be successful...when it comes to skill Brady can't hold Peyton's jock...when TB gets a new offense next year that won't protect him like Fat Bastard's offensive scheme does, we'll see who the better QB is.
  3. MM has seemed to keep this team from falling into trap games thus far.
  4. Have you even watched this team in the last 4 weekS??? If you have how in the hell can you claim that he is underestimating Denver??? They scored 17 points against KC!!! Some CFL teams would put up 17 on KC! Denver is done because Plummer seems to throw to the other team a lot and their defense is pretty porous and Tenn can put points up.
  5. The Jags are averaging 16.9 ppg so either the Texans or Oakland could definitely outscore. And hopefully that cheap shot Darius will be suspended which will weaken their secondary, and then that not quite 17 point average will most definitely not be enough to win both games.
  6. There are two distinct scenarios which allow us to get in. Both are definite possibilities. I don't care which one puts us in the postseason just that we get there. All of this talk is all just rehashed stuff every week. I don't remember the last time I looked forward to Sundays for the entire week.
  7. Well after starting 0-4 there was no way we would be in this position. The Jags are not THAT good and teams like HOU and OAK would love to eliminate the Jags...especially after that dirty dirty hit tonight. And another thing...if you think it is over please don't watch the games because if you are going to throw in the towel on a team with a legit shot to succeed then you are not a fan. Since this run began we knew we would need help, and we've had a great deal...and in today's nfl the Jests could fold, the Jags could lose out, etc. All sorts of stojan can happen as it has in the last couple of months for our Bills. Believing is everything...especially for Bills fans.
  8. While I think the Jags will lose one of their next two...the Texans have looked terrible on the road, but I still think they can rise up next week, even if they don't as long as Kerry Collins stays off the Wild Turkey I think the Raiduhs can outscore a team that averages a whopping 16.9 ppg.
  9. I agree. Denver is folding faster than an entrenched French battallion against the Germans. Jake Plummer is having huge issues throwing to the right team and their defense is being exposed as a fraud. Tennessee wins 24-10.
  10. You must know nothing of defense. Bruce Smith did not always pile up huge tackle or sack numbers but because he was ALWAYS double or in a lot of cases triple teamed it allowed others to make plays (hmmm Phil Hansen). And lets go ahead and take a primadona and replace Pat Williams who spends much of the time double teamed allowing others (Sam Adams) to make plays. For a homework assignment look at how Takeo Spikes got his pick and TD today. (HINT: Pat Williams was the key). A DT is not what this D needs...how about a pass rusher ???
  11. well the final score was 24-17...Tom Brady leaving with a 7-3 lead was huge
  12. Favre's decision making is terrible...it really has never been great but he had a better supporting cast (namely a defense) to cover up his stupidity. Now that his defense could not tackle my grandmother its hard to get away with some of his mistakes.
  13. From the words coming out of the broadcast booth he could probably score with Theisman, McGuire or Patrick...he'd have to compete with Vick though.
  14. At least Brett Favre has accomplished something...Mike Vick = Randall Cunningham. He runs too much and will eventually have some fugged up knees and then he will be seen as a qb that cannot win a sb.
  15. Real money that couldn't buy much. Definitely a marginal fan.
  16. I won't defend Daq's rants, because I won't defend anybody who really digs emo, but its not like we lost to the Browns like uuuuuuuh who was it????? Uh the fuggin BENGALS...leave you troll beatch!
  17. How can anybody think that losing an experienced corner who's won the super bowl and replacing him with a UDFA that got lit up by Carson/Kitna will not hurt a team in some way? The Patsies may still be the best but they will not be unbeatable because defending the pass will be much more difficult, but I still won't bet against Belichik when it comes to creating a defensive scheme that will hide Gay's weaknesses and give the Patsies their best chance to win.
  18. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=1948889 sorry if this has already been posted but Tyrone Poole is out for the season.
  19. When has a big signee/trade ever worked in recent years for the Dodgers? Green will probably go out and hit 40 homers again.
  20. Or you get a ball to the backstop from Clement when he gets his hand too far on the side of the ball when he throws his slider resulting in a 54 foot ball 6 feet to the right of the catcher...a good pitcher but he definitely did not step up much in clutch situations for my Cubbies I am actually glad to see him go and underachieve somewhere else, plus when Strikeout Sammy gets traded that clears the way for that Beltran guy.
  21. If anybody should have helped him it should have been Greg Maddux. They both rely on sinking fastballs (though Matt's is faster than Greg's) but Maddux is much more consistent than Clement because his arm slot and release point don't change. Clement drop's down causing his slider to spin and his sinker to stay belt high when he gets tired. This is odd for sinker-ballers because they usually get better as they get fatigued, but because of Matt's fugged up release point its hard for him to stay consistent. Unless he changes that he will always be inconsistent, and I don't know how much baseball you've played, or more importantly how high you pitched in terms of competition, but changing a release point is quite possibly one of the hardest things in baseball to change especially when you have been used to one thing for such a long time.
  22. I have never and will never bet for or against the Buffalo Bills under any circumstances I know they would screw me....and I would have to say (I know it sounds crazy) that the joy a Bills SB win would bring me more joy than money. I have lived and died with this team too many times to put a monetary value on it. And I would love, even if just for a single offseason to brag about being champions to all the fuggin Niner fans back home who don't even really like their team or know anything about them, but they know that they won some titles so they think they're superior and they like to bring it up. Kiss your hundie goodbye and for saying you would root against the Bills you should definitely never call yourself a fan. Oh yeah and just a few weeks ago we were 1-5...ass.
