This is true in real football not in madden. In Madden you choose to either kick or receive and then say u choose to kick then you automatically receive the 2nd half kick. What NFL teams do is defer their CHOICE to the second half. Illustrated example: Parcells CHOSE to kick a few years back (TC era actually) to start the game in buffalo and then the pats had to kick to start the 2nd half as well because it was the bills choice to either kick or receive to start the 2nd half.

Then this whore Katrina rolls up on New Orleans but at least the Saints look as if my new home in San Antonio will also be their home so damn thats just a quick trip down Hwy 281 to the AlamoDome...sweet! Well now the schedulers and Tagliabue join forces to completely trample the wishes of Dave, a young college kid just trying to watch the object of his obsession play a fuggin football game, by saying this game will be moved to B-lo!?!?! WTF!?!?! Now I have tickets to the Saints and Dolphins games and plane tix to buffalo for the miami week! This sucks. I have been playing baseball for 16 years now in little league, highschool and now college...thats a lot of friggin baseball my dad had to sit through and or coach and it meant the world to me...but...the times i treasure most are sitting in front of the TV watching the bills on sundays (back when i was growing up some of those sundays were even in late january) it sucks that you guys cant sit and watch them live together but get tivo and you get the best of both worlds!

Well I live in Texas. I now will not have to make the 8 hour trip to Nawlins as the Bills and Saints will probably play at the Alamo Dome. So there goes revenue from LA and into TX. Also, the refugees from the Superdome are being bussed to Texas to the AstroDome where their children will be attending our schools (which is a good thing) Students at many colleges in AL, LA, and GA are being allowed to attend classes at schools in places such as Tennessee. Lets not even beat the dead horse of gas prices going out of control around the entire COUNTRY. But I sure am glad this tragedy only affected Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

This sure as hell is a national event. And when it comes to the historical significance of the Big Easy being destroyed its hard to comprehend. That was one of the cultural centers for this country and it may be completely gone, at least how we knew it, forever. I am sorry the tsunami was terrible and the human loss was ridiculous, but this is human loss and all sorts of other entangibles that were lost when Nawlins, Biloxi and all the gulf towns were wiped out.

I already had tickets to the bills game in NO...now it looks like it may be a 20 minute drive to downtown to watch the game. Has LSU announced their plans for the football season yet?
