The injuries stink but the good news is that the Bills will still be lining up with professional football players. Miami doesn’t get to play against air! The Bills still have #17 and some good offensive players. So they may have to win by out scoring Miami which is very doable.

The prices we are seeing are not sustainable for Buffalo. It's an anomaly in my opinion. This happens to be the season that all Bills fans feel something special in the air. It's an excellent team, great O, great D, Josh Allen is hitting his prime, they were Super Bowl favorites even before the season began and now look even BETTER than expected. Buffalo fans from across the country are making it a priority to come to Orchard Park for a game this season.. With the legendary tailgating and "Mafia" hype nationally, even opponents fans are making Highmark Stadium a bucket list weekend getaway. And there are some big (and close by) fan bases that are coming in like Pittsburgh, Cleve and GB. It's just a perfect storm to cause the secondary market to be on fire. It may last this season, maybe next season...but it won't be the norm.

I fly in for a game every year. I usually take one of my kids or my dad. This year it's insane how ticket prices have blown up. I don't care about the opponent, I just have to go on a weekend that works for us. This season it happens to be the Vikings game on Nov. 13th. Like you I already had the flight/lodging. I was searching all over for a reasonable pair of lower level tickets. I don't want to gamble that the ticket prices will crash as I don't think they will. I finally bit the bullet a few days ago and paid $744.50 for a pair in the LL corner. I would just get them. The Bills fans around America are ALL IN on this season and the games will remain in high demand, especially prior to December.

Man i can’t believe it’s Friday already. These Fall football weekends come and go so fast. We were just preparing for Monday Night football and here we are, Miami game. Can’t wait!

Patriots and Jets this Weekend - Hope They Lose.
zow2 replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with those who think it’s better for the Ravens and Bengals to lose this weekend. Absolutely. Those AFC North teams will be in the playoff mix at the end. We want them to have lower seeds. I don’t see NE and NYJ being threats to make the playoffs after 17 weeks. But i’ll take Cinci beating Miami in week 4. -
If Bills go undefeated but lose in the Super Bowl
zow2 replied to Joe Ferguson's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s a moot point. They’re not going undefeated. There’s going to be a little patch of adversity sometime during the season. Then come playoff time they will be locked in. -
There’s going to be guys rolling in and out of the lineup all season…getting nicked up and landing on the inactive list. Let’s just hope and pray that it’s nothing catastrophic like Tre last year.

Just watching Davis in some clips today he still looks bothered by the ankle. If i was coach, I'd give him another week off. They will need him for Baltimore and KC for sure. Josh still has plenty of other receiver options. The secondary is way more concerning.

Micah Hyde seeking 2nd opinion on neck injury
zow2 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, this is terrible news. Hope he's ok. Wouldn't surprise me if he's out a few weeks. If it's season ending that would be a crusher for him and the team. -
Sure hope not. But he's going out of town to seek an expert opinion on this injury. So it's a big deal, and I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
-
The fact that Hyde is now seeking a second opinion for his injured neck (as reported by the Buffalo News), does not bode well. Certainly not for this weekend anyway. He went off on a cart, so that means he must've experienced something pretty scary. Just hope he's back within a couple weeks.

I assume Miami will be wearing their all-white uniforms. You all know, it keeps teams cooler in the heat. If the Bills are wearing the blue jerseys, i hope they wear the white pants. I'm not a big fan of the blue/blue look. I get that they are 2-0 in them but don't overuse that combo.

This is pretty funny. I do like Bease though and wish him the best. I'm sure it gets better from here. I'd love a SB vs the Bucs. It's one of the few teams we would have the "revenge factor" against. They beat the Bills in that heartbreaker last season. It would also be magical to come full circle after the forever long drought, Brady/Pats dominance over Buffalo and then to finally win the SB and have it be over Brady. It would be surreal.
-
Which is fine. The Patriots and Brady won a couple Super Bowls using the pass (short quick throws) as their running game.
-
The only way to stop this offense is Allen not playing. They broke down some defensive strategies on NFL Network yesterday. The Rams and Titans did their best, but Allen is uncontainable now that he can read any defense and throws accurately. And of course he has that additional ability to buy time or escape the pocket when a play is covered.

What stat did i see today, 20 consecutive double digit wins or something?!? That’s sick. It really is. I don’t miss the losing!! I don’t even think New England in their heyday came close to that and they won multiple Super Bowls. This team is on an unreal run and i’m not a praying guy but i think i have to pray they win the SB this year. This might be the best chance we ever have.
-
It’s kinda’ scary really. I’m not sure how to handle it. I’ve been around for all the 70’s 80s, 90s teams but this feels different. They shoulda been in the SB last year, except for the stupid 13 seconds. But last years club couldn’t win any close games so they were definitely flawed. This years team is already on a mission. How many double digit wins can one team bank without rolling to a Championship? Im feeling the pressure of being the runaway front runner right now. Hopefully they stay away from major injuries and that McDermott keeps these guys steady and hungry. Its truly a Lombardi trophy or bust season.

Other than some injuries, is there anything NOT to like about last night?!?
zow2 replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
True. But Brady has won a Super Bowl or two using that short pass- no running game plan. -

Yeah Cook. I was glad he got several carries in a live game when there were no consequences for any mistakes. Hard to really trust him yet. He looks like a fumble waiting to happen when he gets hit. -
It's easy to praise everyone and everything about this team right now...but for fun, i was trying to find some things to nitpick. Anyone see anything? I think it was 24-7, then the muffed punt. I was expecting Buffalo to pound the rock, kill some time and score. Instead, Allen passed three straight times and had two knocked down at the line and they settled for a FG. It was a very rushed series and not a smart series of plays. That's about all i could find.

9/19/22 Gameday Titans at Bills Week 2 Pregame Thread MNF!

The Tua sucks chants were hilarious on ESPN. Now they’re doing a “Brady sucks” chant while showing Bucs highlights. Bills fans are liquored up out there. -

Based on stuff I'm seeing on social media over the past few days, a decent amount of Titans fans are in town for the game ... Doing the typical Buffalo schtick of going to a bunch of different Wing joints (and posting pics) and checking out Niagara Falls. Bills games, especially now that they're good are definitely a bucket list things for opposing fans. Of course a few short years ago when the Pats dominated us, their fans would take over the stadium on occasion. -
On the radar now there is a large swath of moderate/heavy rain over the western part of Lake Erie and Southern Ontario... moving due east towards Buffalo. Ya'll sure this will be through the area and outta here by 7pm? Tailgating looks to be nice and wet.
