Leslie better start cooking something up. The DL and LBs are doing nothing to get Tua off rhythm -

Keep an eye out, Miami could start over-hyped. We saw this all through the years when Buffalo would host NE/Brady. They would hit us early and took advantage of Bills D over aggressiveness. -

We’ve seen a lot of games over the years involving Brady, Peyton, Brees, Rodgers, Big Ben, Mahomes, Wilson, etc.. where their teams are suffering through a stretch of injuries. And those teams still found a way to win. Despite no SB, Josh Allen is definitely in this QB mix talent and leadership-wise. As long as he plays, the Bills have a great chance, even with injuries around them. -

Yup. Too many are acting like the Bills won’t be filling those injured positions, and it will be 11 against 6. Not the case. Time for the O to dictate the game and the D will hang in there. -

Hoping Josh doesn’t feel the need to do too much today. The hero ball stuff will get him nicked up. Last week was perfect, he threw well and got rid of the ball when in trouble. Only ran once where he was hit. -

I figured Morse would sit. A little surprised that Gabe is in. Hope he’s ok and doesn’t tweak the ankle. -

From the practice highlights this week, it looked like Davis could run straight ok but stops and cuts were not smooth. He was favoring it. I’d sit him today and hopefully 100% for Baltimore. -

Last i checked JA17 was still playing and the new DB’s are young and hungry. i still expect Buffalo to win the game, despite Riddick’s analysis. But short week, high humidity, injuries and Miami desperation to beat the Bills will close the margin i’m sure. -
I didn’t do the research. But i recall Tampa’s secondary last season took a hit to the entire group. Can’t recall how many games they played with backups but they won several.
-
I was thinking about this yesterday and the last time we saw cheetah, he was giving Poyer and Hyde the “peace out” sign running by them. So while we are not as good without them, i am hoping the new guys bring a little more speed too (knowing we are sacrificing experience and ability to pre-diagnose plays).
-
That’s what it is. Just unlucky. We gotta hope the backups don’t get injured or it’s a complete mess.
-
Seems like McDermott and Co are just going to wing it with depth on D tomorrow. give everyone who needs a week off, the week off and Play some prevent defense. They are betting on Josh having one of his usual games vs Miami which isn’t a bad thing. If they can get out of Miami with a W, the Bills can regroup and get guys back for Baltimore.
-
Dang, so it’s reported now that Poyer will be out as well. What’s the deal? He was interviewed after the game and sounded fine. So no Hyde or Poyer for Miami. Let the shootout begin.
-
Yep. Even Von said last week there would be adversity this season. It was just a matter of when. So here we are. It's a nice opportunity for some guys to step up and show they are true NFL talents. I think some of the lesser known DB's will ball out. It's funny because some people are acting like Micah's position on the football field will be vacant, and Tua will get to throw against thin air.😮

Mafia descending on Miami, Phins fans not happy about it...
zow2 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills fans are gonna take over several road stadiums this season...already LA and Miami. I know a ton of us are heading to Baltimore next weekend. With the injuries mounting, the Mafia may have to Will this team to victory and in the playoffs. -
The Hyde loss hurts, but i’m not ready to write off the defense until i see them play first. Let’s be positive. It’s next man up.
-
The Hyde injury is in the books, unfortunately. I’m more worried about the Next DB injury more then losing Hyde at this point.
-
Well, it seems the football gods are starting the work to make sure Buffalo never wins a SB. That’s what it feels like. There’s no stopping this club… except for massive injuries to important people.
-
With all the injuries, i like the Bills having a chip on their shoulder. Especially the defense. They will want to prove they aren’t the weak link. I think these guys will ball out and play well.
