Such a strange situation the way it was handled on social media and both attorneys comments etc. It got me that Gilleon said an apology by Araiza and donation to a rape survivors charity would’ve likely been enough. That she wasn’t after a money grab or shakedown.

Where’s the announcement about signing Kern? it should have been 10 minutes ago. His strength is directional punting and pinning teams inside the 10. That’s what the Bills need. Let’s face it, in Orchard Park there’s usually wind from Southwest to Northeast. Every NFL punter can boom it far with the wind and struggles against the wind. We really need a professional who can place the ball where the special teams needs it to be placed. Which Kern can do. Announce it Beane.

Why is the media, specifically Buffalo News, still killing the Bills management about this? They did the right thing. They released the guy within 48 hours of when the girl's side of the story was released publicly. They did not know these details previously. It's like some journalists are dying to make their career on this story as if they are breaking "new" news. Which they are not.

It’s a bad look, obviously, and they will have to make a move. I just don’t want a situation where everyone is rushing to judgement and then 2 months down the road or next season, Araiza is punting for the Bengals or Colts, etc..

The hyperbole is beyond over the top. People and media acting as if this will submarine the Bills special season. Stop. A punter isn’t the reason the season will go great or awful.

Makes it even more weird for me. my son and I were talking about Araiza last week. Stuff like he looks too good to be true, big leg, picking up the holding duties like a champ, and he such a humble, wholesome All-American guy. And now this? sheesh!

as much as the kid looks like a great punter, a punter is not going to be the difference of the bills winning or losing the Super Bowl this season. Whatever punishment he deserves should be handed down and let’s move on.

Araiza is now on trial by the social media world and Buffalo/National media. This is not a spot he wants to be in. There’s really no way he comes out of this with an NFL career in the short term.

I wouldn’t release the guy. Maybe he gets suspended for a season or two. But if he ever punts in the NFL it should be for the Bills or nobody. I would not release him simply because the media in Buffalo is all sanctimonious and demands it.

The story is out there now and it’s too big. Araiza will never survive this. And the Bills won’t win or lose a Super Bowl based on how their punter does.

I’m sure Buffalo media will be screaming that he should’ve been released an hour ago. I think you let it play out. It’s a civil case and supposed witnesses have said it didn’t go down like that.

For the first time in my Sunday Ticket Max history with DTV, I've hit a brick wall. I've called twice now and both "Loyalty" reps would only offer $16.50/month off the price. That's it, that's all they could do despite my groveling. So instead of being $396 for the season the offer is for $296. Not exactly what i was looking for as a 22 year subscriber. It's not like I've gotten it free in recent years either! But at least they would offer some nice account credits to offset the cost. I think i last had it free in 2018. I declined the $16.50/mo discount and I'll try once again in a week or so.

I could talk my self into wanting OBJ on the roster and just as easily talk myself into not needing him whatsoever. Not sure where the Bills are headed with this? And what about OBJ's knee? how does anyone know it will be healed enough to play again this season. I suspect Beane & Co. have this on the back burner until things will play out with injuries and such...and it will make it easier to decide if they want/need OBJ down the road.

My only thing about Lawson, is that after playing against him on the Jets/Phins, he seemed mostly irrelevant. You certainly didn't have to gameplan around him. The only time i recall hearing his name was when he would get blocked behind the QB, or over pursue and Josh easily stepped up or rolled around him. Maybe he would throw himself on top of an already tackled player. I dunno, not sure what Shaq Lawson is nowadays?!?
