I’ve been mentally preparing myself for the City of Cincinnati to get a Lombardi before Buffalo gets one. I’m OK with it. Just need the Bills to capture one while their window is open. If the Bengals do win it, It has to be infinitely worse if you are in Cleveland and a die hard Browns fan.

Not a bad halftime prediction.
-
Joe Cool. and the WR got away with a little business
-
I could be wrong, but the Bengals seem like the better team to me. Especially with OBJ out. I feel like they are just lying in the weeds, and then will strike with a couple TDs in the second half to win it
-
Bengals do seem like they have more of a solid plan. and the loss of OBJ could swing this to Cinci.
-
Why is McVay calling running plays on 2nd and 3rd and long (earlier)
-
So i thought the Rams DLine was going to dominate? Doesn’t seem that’s the case so far
-
Uh oh. Didn’t look good for OBJ there.
-
Burrow doesn’t make many throwing mistakes. He may not hit every pass, but he’s really stingy with any mistakes.
-
Wasn’t sure if it was mentioned earlier, but after the 1st QTR OBJ touchdown, i spotted a large Bills logo in the stands in the corner. (drawn on a bedsheet). You could see it while the Rams were celebrating.

These teams look about even to me. Impressed with Bengals D despite the OBJ score. As always, a turnover will end up being a huge swing for one of these teams

Crazy to think they were 125-1 shots to make the Super Bowl in August. Only teams equal or worse i believe were the Lions, Jags, Texans and Jets. Hey they overachieved and got some breaks and made some breaks in the playoffs. I feel like their 4th seed was perfect setup, and KC mentally were jacked up after the huge Bills win. That helped Cincinnati i believe. Now all they need to do is win 1 game. It’s nuts

Our defense always seems to come up short in the playoffs

Hey this goes all the way back to SB XXV. Giants held the ball forever in 2nd half, converting long 3rd down. Cincinnati has shown us you don’t need to be a great defense. You do need to come up with some creative schemes to throw teams off for a half or whatever it be. Playoff games are one and done. Don’t need to do the same ‘ol thing that got you there. The opponents are good and have studied your same ‘ol thing. -
Joe has the swag which can also be seen as cocky. Allen hasn’t been in the SB so he’s not going to be thrown in the mix quite yet. I don’t think i’ll ever forgive our coaches for effing up Allen’s legacy in those 13 seconds and OT. He should be in there.

I keep hearing how HOT it is in LA. Hottest Super Bowl ever!! Isn’t the stadium air conditioned? Then i see the highs are around 82-85. Yes that’s warm in February i suppose, but not oppressive heat. And it’s SoCal. It’s typically year round sunny. Maybe it’s the visiting east coast media making a big deal about the heat.

I believe it's the Edmonton Elks now... ya know,,,political correctness and all..

Yep. My teenage son was celebrating and whooping it up with 13 seconds, and the kickoff. I said Dude, sit down and zip it until that clock shows 0:00. I had my head buried in my hoodie cringing. Now he knows about 0:00 for the rest of his life.

Good stuff,. was wondering if Josh would make the rounds out there on radio row. Glad he is. From the Rome interview, It's a shame he can never look at the KC game as one of the best ever NFL playoff games. The 13 seconds... that loss gutted him.

Watched an Emmanuel Sanders interview on Cowherd's show today. With 13 seconds to go, the offensive guys thought it was won. He said after the game, he was sitting in the lockerrom in a circle with Allen, Diggs and Gabe Davis. They were just staring off into space, in silence. No one could speak. They wanted someone to wake them from the nightmare they were experiencing. Couldn't believe it was real. If he does play anymore, he said he'd like to play for Buffalo but is still trying to decide on his future.
-
Doesn't seem like it from everything you read. My fear is that the County, State and Bills organization are not thinking far enough into the future. The Bills are in a really good window right now with Allen, McDermott and Beane steering the ship. It's a possible Championship window of success. That won't last indefinitely. When things dip down the road, whose going to want to come to Buffalo willingly and play in the worst weather in the NFL? It might not matter right now, but someday it's going to be very beneficial to have this new stadium be a place where players and top coaches want to reside at. Given the choice, very few really want to play in a stadium where the last 4-5 games of the home schedule are rainy, freezing cold and/or windy.

A good comparison I've seen is Troy Aikman. Burrow doesn't look spectacular, but he always seems to throw to the correct receiver and puts the ball in the correct location.. He's not a burner, but athletic enough to buy some time or get a clutch 1st down with his legs. Bottom line, he's obviously a winner and the Bengals would not even be sniffing the SB without him.

Brian Flores suing NFL, NY Giants, Dolphins, Broncos.
zow2 replied to BillsFan4's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thats what i was speculating very early on when Flores sued. I think his problems/firing are a lot more about HIM and not about the color of his skin. I heard an interview with Mike Florio on Sirius today from the Super Bowl site. Even he is backing away. He said Flores’ lawyers aren’t looking out for him. They should have told him to sit on his frustrations for a while and not bring this public. Because he had a great chance to get another job this year or next. But the Ooops text from Belichek set him off. Said the lawyers seem to be relishing taking on the big NFL suits. -

on the FS1 show, Speak for Yourself....Marcellus Wiley and Acho are killing Flores and his lawyers today. -
I put a few bucks on the Bengals, now I’m interested. 😜

Definitely not overreacting. As you see Bills coaches leave due to success, Davis Webb, etc.. all guys instrumental in Josh Allen's development, you realize how everything lined up so perfectly. The team was mostly healthy, they were peaking, coaches were in sync, all set to host the AFCCG against the upstart but underdog Bengals. The Bills have the better roster, they really do. Doesn't mean they would've won the game, but they had a great shot. Then the inexplicable 13 seconds that will haunt us forever. I think the AFC will be even harder to crack through next season. Cincinnati did what we were supposed to do last year or this year. Take advantage of the window when it's open now. No guarantees it will line up again next year.
