  1. Any holding that is offensive or defensive that is far away from the actual play. I'm talking like the other side of the field, should be ignored. That includes special teams. If a flag is thrown, the refs should pick it up.
  2. What happened to Kafka, the offensive mind? Last i heard Andy Reid gave him a glowing recommendation to Arizona ownership.
  3. Yep. That summarizes what Beane and every other GM should be thinking. NFL defenders can be coached and schemed to slow down guys like Mahomes and Hurts, but you're never going to stop them. Paying a 34 year old edge rusher, with a bad knee an obscene amount of money to get you to the promised land was a swing and a miss.
  4. Every NFL player who leaves a game or sits out due to a "sore ankle" should look at Mahomes. That dude is a competitor. That mindset, I'm not coming out under any circumstances. That's a great quality.
  5. Great game, great ending especially since i had several bets wrapped around the Chiefs winning. Maybe this lessens the KC hunger for next season and they have a hangover.
  6. That was a serious hit on Pacheco.
  7. The last 2 KC TD passes were so well designed for the defense coming at them. Newsflash, Reid is smart and Mahomes is slick
  8. If you’re an Eagles fan you’re nervous. feels like they’ve controlled the game and KC is one TD from leading
  9. Gonna have to freeze that the instant he gained control to know if the foot was still down
  10. It’s like they’re playing on a light snow covered field.
  11. That was a fun commercial. Mafia style. Good line by Jim.
  12. Good play. I have too many bets on KC winning tonight and i really don’t want Hurts winning a SB before Allen.
  13. On another note, I just want him to be honest instead of disappearing into oblivion this offseason. Just come out and say we sucked against Cinci, it was embarrassing as a staff, and we’re going to make adjustments and win the damn thing in 2023-24. Im tired of hearing stuff like “we didn’t get the outcome we had hoped for”. If i were a Bills player he’d lose me. I’d be tired of hearing his coach speak. I sure hope he’s a lot more competitive behind the scenes.
  14. I think it’s the Chiefs night. Can’t shake how they destroyed the 49ers in SF this season….a hot knife through butter. I think the AFC has better teams. Also KC being embarrassed in their last SB will benefit their preparation and this Eagles team/staff are mostly experiencing their 1st SB. I have most of my online bets banking on a KC win/cover but hedged a little bit on the Eagles and some parlays.
  15. The Bills of course had some great years in the mid-1960's and won the AFL Championship twice and came within one win of playing in Super Bowl 1. They had some good teams in the early 70's with Saban and early 80's with Chuck Knox but lost in the Divisional rounds. Then they had that great run from 1988 through the late 90's making the playoffs 10 out of 12 years and crushing us with 4 Super Bowl losses and 1 AFC Championship loss. Now they are back in another "golden era" making the playoffs 5 of the last 6 years with Allen, McDermott and Co. The last three years in particular the Bills have been a dominant team in the NFL if you analyze the numbers and should have more to show for it. All that being said, are the Buffalo Bills the most accomplished NFL franchise to never win the Super Bowl? how about Minnesota or Cincinnati? or anyone else?
  16. I give McDermott this next season to see if they can get the job done. At least get to the AFCCG, hopefully Super Bowl. If they flame out, then ownership and GM should roll the dice and bring in new coaching talent. Other successful teams have done it, rolled the dice, and it's paid off. You can't just piss away Allen's prime years.
  17. The Bills have dominated the NFL for 3 years and nothing to show for it. Not even a SB appearance. Diggs knows they are blowing their Championship window, especially now that Allen’s deal kicks in. 13 seconds was a coaching failure and the staff was so outcoached vs Cincinnati it was frightening. Diggs should be pissed.
  18. The coaching simply has to be better, especially in the playoffs. If the game plan is failing, be flexible and fix it on the fly like other good teams do. I don't know if they're wasting Allen's talent, but his prime years are happening NOW and are definitely being wasted. He should've been in a Super Bowl by now. Yes, 13 seconds was the year. We had the best team, and coaching strategy blew it. As great as Allen is, he needs to button up his game a bit too. No reason he should lead all QB's in turnovers. That's crushing. Jalen Hurts has less experience, throws the ball downfield a bunch, uses his legs...and his turnover rate is way less than Allen's. Josh has to better understand risk/reward type stuff.
  19. This club wasn't good enough to play the season as the Super Bowl favorites. They're better doing the hunting rather than being hunted. As we get into Fall 2023, the Bills may be slotted high in the power rankings but realistically they will be in the Tier of AFC teams behind the Chiefs and Bengals. I think Buffalo will be in the mix with the Ravens, Chargers and Jags. Maybe without the super high expectations they will overperform in the playoffs.
  20. Sheesh, i heard about this on the national news this morning. Is there another small city in the U.S. that gets more publicity for weird/bad sh*t than Buffalo?!? It’s bad enough the region has to name all the devastating sports losses over the years.
  21. Actually, if i had to pick a flag football team, Huntley might be my first choice. He can run around and zing it to open guys. Definitely better than in the tackle game.
  22. Rooting for the Eagles but i think the final will be: Chiefs 31 Philly 27
  23. I’m pretty sure when those Bills uniforms trot out on the field for game #1 i will be All In even if Frazier is still the DC. If they make the playoffs, that will be the big test. Will Leslie have learned anything, can he adjust.
  24. Watched the last 30 mins of the “re-imagined” Pro Bowl. It looked pretty good. When the guys wore full pads and pretended to play tackle football the last few years it was a silly joke of a game. At least with flag football the guys were actually trying, they were competing and didn’t want to look foolish. The game ended on a Buffalo Bills defensive player penalty. how appropriate, lol.
