I agree that the Ravens and Steelers are going to be a real problem for Cincinnati. That will be a slugfest division. Jags will win that division but i think they are being overhyped. Disagree on New England. I think they and Jets will battle for 3rd and 4th in our division. Rodgers is overhyped too. He was not good last year. He’s too afraid of getting hit nowadays. Lions/Vikes and Falcons/Saints to battle it out to win their respective divisions. Depends on who stays away from injuries.

A couple weeks ago i expected Buffalo to roll the Jets in this one. But my expectations have been lowered. The Oline is weak. I’m not as in love with James Cook as many people are. I wish Damien Harris was healthy for this one. I’d like to see JA get rid of the ball quicker. Not every pass has to be a 20-25 yard rope. Take what they give you, and quickly, like Mahomes and Burrow do. The D plays read and react too much. They allow guys to catch the ball too easily, not aggressive. and Poyer is slow.

Really, it was a disgusting first half by a lot of starters. The lack of execution and penalties were unreal. I get that the Bills Vets were probably on auto-pilot mode but that’s not comforting. All the national naysayers who are down on Buffalo for this upcoming season look smart. The Oline is not impressive. They really need a healthy Damien Harris, he break tackles. Poyer looks slow as hell, the D watches receivers catch the ball and then they react. Need to be a aggressive and how about preventing the completions? I do think Buffalo is solid and should win the division, but i’m more concerned about the Jets opening game than i was a few days ago.

By the way, are the Jets going to simply unwrap Aaron Rodgers for game #1? Not a single preseason snap for the dude? seems risky with all new teammates, etc. I did not think any vets would play in the final preseason games but maybe he will get in there. who knows.

The thing about the Bills in recent years is that they are a measuring stick game for all opponents. Beating the Bills is big. and Buffalo just didn’t even come close to caring about a preseason game as much as Pittsburgh. But the penalties are a huge concern. that will derail important games

Mims looks like a decent RB to me, and he breaks arm tackles. Shorter could be a nice project to have on board.

I think the Bills are still good, but the guys are reading their own press clippings too much. they got spanked here in a game the 1’s started and actually tried. That is professionally embarrassing. All those mistakes and penalties?! Terrible. In the long run this might get them focused.

Bills are dumb. these other teams throw some passes that have a high probability of DPI being called even if the pass or lousy. and I don’t see Buffalo attempting these too often.

The penalty-fest is concerning. you almost feel like teams gain a reputation. and refs will be calling even the ticky tack stuff all year unless MdD gets this under control.
