Just another lesson for the rest of the NFL. We've seen the Saints and Raiders pull a defeat from the jaws of victory this week. Every play MATTERS, especially in the final quarter when possessions flip quickly. Every penalty matters.
Well now all the consecutive holdings they didn’t call on the Rams RT, on the drive to make it 16-10 seem like fairly egregious non calls. i mean they cost the Raiders the game.
I'm not going to look it up, but i said after the Bills were basically forced to release him, that within 1 year he will be on an active roster punting for the Raiders, Cowboys, Chiefs, etc... This is not a big surprise.
Sad. I was mentally prepared for that. While it hurts I still think the Bills D is really good when healthy, even without Von. They can still get the ring.
The big weather variable in Orchard Park is always the wind. Wind makes a huge impact and it's only predicted to be 5-10mph for this Jets game. There's no major issue throwing in the rain if winds are light. Just look at the Jets game a couple weeks ago vs Chicago. It was a friggin downpour at MetLife and Mike White threw 78% completion, 315 yards and 3 TD's. He had no issues.
So what if Buffalo signs OBJ and he never contributes this season? and what if Von’s knee doesn’t allow him to continue this season? That would be something. Maybe those guys sheer presence in the locker room are enough to will the Bills to the SB. What are those chances!?
What's the back story on this firing? Usually there are several transgressions that culminate in an NFL GM getting fired, especially from a reasonably successful team.
