Count me in as being impressed w Miami. All summer when the Jets hype machine was in full gear, I told my Bills friends it's Miami that we should be worried about. And yesterday did nothing to change my mind. The only thing that will derail Miami is injuries to their main guys. If they stay healthy, the Phins will be in the mix and be a playoff problem for some teams.

Excited for the game but my expectations are muted. Maybe this is the year they start slow and get hot in Dec/Jan when it matters most.. We shall see. This season likely will have a different vibe. I agree with others....the AFC #1 seed could be any number of teams. Right off the bat, the Chiefs certainly don't look as dominant...

Much like the Browns took Baker Mayfield #1 overall and *Should have* taken raw, unproven super athlete Josh Allen... I think Carolina will regret taking Bryce Young over super raw, big, athletic Anthony Richardson. Not that Young won't be decent, but Richardson has the look of a QB that could be really really good in the near future.

Looking forward to seeing McDermott get aggressive tonight with the Defense. SO tired of Leslie using that Tampa-2 scheme. I want to see the DB's play up and be aggressive against the pass like i saw in several NFL games yesterday. You can't just sit back and watch guys catch the ball in front of you all night. That will just allow for chunk plays down the field.

I know it's not a popular opinion, I just never thought Damar was very good in coverage (well before the injury). Maybe it was the old scheme, i don't know.

Two of the luckiest teams last year, maybe 1 and 2 were Minnesota and Giants.

Gotta admit, Miami looked really solid today on the road against a decent team. The only thing holding them back i think is injuries. If they can keep their main guys healthy they will be right there with the AFC’s best

This coaching staff is a joke especially on D. How many leads do they get, only for the Defense to get completely exposed by in-game adjustments by opponents. Stop scheduling decent Northeast FCS programs, ya can’t beat them. Stick to the MEAC or whatever

BTW, the Bills/Jets game on Monday is on regular broadcast TV, ABC (who owns 80% of ESPN). The first few weeks of MNF is weird. Bills game is a standalone on ABC, Weeks 2 & 3 have MNF doubleheaders on ABC and ESPN.

Glad i took a chance on Sam LaPorta tonight in Fantasy. He’s got sticky hands and is quick. He might give Kincaid a run for best rookie TE. hope not though, but Bills have Knox and Detroit has no other good TE option.

The key to good defense is making the opposing QB uncomfortable. And Detroit has made Mahomes uncomfortable on several drives tonight. Good job by them.

I said the day it happened we would never see Hines in a Bills uniform again. Just unfortunate. But Buffalo will move on and will have other RB/kick returner plans. There’s no shortage of them.

I also have Allen, Kincaid, Bass and Damien Harris on the bench. I think Bills/Jets could be a more defensive game so I may not use Kincaid this week. I picked up another rookie TE, Sam LaPorta of Detroit and will likely use him. He supposedly looked great in camp and is starting tonight. KC defense without Chris Jones will only benefit Goff. At the end of the day, Tight end won't make or break my week but that's the one position i didn't draft a vet.
