Brandon Beane on Collinsworth’s podcast — worth a listen
ndirish1978 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watched this on Youtube. Enjoyed Beane dumping on PFF. Milano is definitely gone, probably D Williams too. He basically said the team was going to allow them to test the market, if they didn't like what they were offered he would make them an offer. -
Is America's Test Kitchen worth the sub? I purchased half the stuff in my kitchen on their recommendations.

Do I read? Yes. Do I read some books because I feel obligated to read certain "must reads?" Yes. But the stuff I actually enjoy is pretty much just sci fi / fantasy. Brandon Sanderson and Patrick Rothfuss stand out in those genres as current authors.

I see a lot of drafts picking LTs (I've done it myself) and sliding them over to RT. How unwise is this? I note this because it seems like some people just can't adjust to switching which foot they use to slide back. Thoughts? Well, I'm doing it here in this one, which I actually like. Fairly high risk high reward draft with Rousseau, Little and Brown

I don't know how many times this opinion has been shut down by the coaching staff. Edmunds will not be changing positions. -
Trade up or trade back in this year’s draft?
ndirish1978 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We don't have enough ammo to trade up in the first, I could see us moving up a modest amount in the 2nd, but missing a 4th stinks this year. -
Positions I believe we fill a need in FA and my top picks guesses to fill them: CB2: Shaquille Griffin, AJ Bouye DE: Julian Okwara, JJ Watt, Yannick Ngakoue TE: Jonnu Smith, Mo Alie-Cox LB: Jayon Brown, Hassan Reddick. I still think we draft someone as Milano's eventual successor

I think he could play Will given his proficiency in coverage. He could also backup at Mike. I could be wrong, but my thinking is he has a little position flexibility. Seeing as he's closer to 6'0 I don't think he's actually tall enough for MLB though that's where he's played and is most often mocked playing.

I haven't done a ton of work looking at this guy, but isn't he pretty risky? -

Appreciate it. He usually asks. -

Transition tag him then? -
I just realized that I was more excited about Mario than I am about JJ Watt... must be the age. I'm pretty much over all the speculation on Watt already.

I wouldn't welcome him. -

I don't see anything wrong with bitterness. The team drafted him in the 5th and gave him a shot. He just went to the AFC Championship game with this team. There are players on the Bucs offering to take pay cuts to stay around and we have a relatively young LB who has decided that he values money more than staying on the team. Does that make me want to root for him? No, because I don't care about Matt Milano personally, I care about the Bills as they are the team I have chosen to root for since childhood. I don't care if he makes a lot of money or a little money; his value to me is directly related to how much or little he helps the Bills. Fandom is not something I owe a player. If he chooses to leave the Bills I'll stop caring about him altogether and not wish him well or ill. I don't understand when people get mad at other fans for criticizing a player. This is a game and it's not personal. For 99% of players I view them joining or leaving a team with the same enthusiasm I would if they joined my Madden team, they're a name and stats to me and little else. Every once in a while a player like Kyle or Fred Jackson comes along and I become a fan of that player specifically. I root for those players when they leave the team. Milano is not in that category for me. -

honestly, despite hi2 2 pick 6s, I'd rather find a big Nickel who can help up shore up our atrocious TE coverage. Nasirildeen would do this. -
Bucky Brooks top 5 by position draft prospects

Give me 2-4 of his LB rankings in the 1st and I'd be happy to move on from Milano. 2) Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Notre Dame 3) Nick Bolton, Missouri 4) Jabril Cox, LSU -
I'm confused. Why has there been all this talk about not being able to sign Milano, who is important for us, at 12-13/yr and we're suddenly all ok with paying 12M for a rotational piece? I mean, I want to pay him 12M too, just realized that I had the sam attitude described above and thought it was worth noting.

Available players released from other teams

Or they could extend Brown 1 year, lower his cap his dramatically and not create another need. We can lower his cap hit significantly with some pretty basic changes in structure. -
Is Luke Kuechly a Pipedream?

This is one of those threads where we just throw all real information out of the window and instead indulge in wild, unfounded speculation? I have no idea if Star want to be traded for Aaron Donald, but if both parties are amenable I'd do it.
