Hatred for the Pegulas is 100% due to the Sabres. Their incredibly mismanaged handling of the team, coupled with the incredibly tone-deaf internal statements made to employees in that organization about "maintaining lifestyle" effectively turned all the hockey fans in the area against them. The hockey media tries their best to maintain the antagonistic relationship between fans and players too. Problem is that hatred is completely misplaced here, as the football team has competent leadership and is a good product on the field. The leaked report claiming the Pegulas wanted 100% publicly financed stadium + money for redoing the Sabres facilities was completely false and obviously leaked from a party hoping to turn the public against the ownership.

I would posit that there aren't really any "average" fans on this board, as they have taken the effort to sign up for and spend a decent amount of time on this board. How do you reconcile this, 22 accusations for Watson, vs 2 accusations for AB? the NFL is hypocritical and doesn't want to lose money with ticket sales in Houston, period. AB was exempt-listed when he was a top 3 WR, but that's not the same as a Top 5 QB. Money is the only reason Watson isn't on the exempt list.

HBO Max was just released where I live. They have some amazing series and get a lot of credit for them, but man they have some stinkers too. Just watched Band of Brothers (first time watching for the wife) and confirmed it's still one of my all-time favorites.
